Electronic commerce over the Internet is predicted to grow at an ever-increasing rate over the next few years, with on-line sales already heading for several billion. Many companies are using this new sales channel, and a few retailers now have established major on-line sales sites. There have been some successes, particularly in technology, business-to-business and niche markets. This paper has been produced to summarise the basics of electronic commerce system, covering on-line catalogues and on-line purchasing. Electronic commerce systems consists of the authoring tools and web applications, the electronic payment technology, and the security and transaction processing.

In this paper, we propose a methodology to estimate the number of users in e-Commerce systems. There have been a lot of previous work under the closed-LAN system environment. But the study on the number of acceptable users in real network environment is hard to find in the literature. Our research applies a Hybrid Simulation by using QoS results for end-to-end high-speed Internet service, and experiments are performed with regard to LAN and WAN, network equipments, and various network bandwidth. As result of the experiments we observed that the response time of high-speed Internet service media(Wireless LAN, ADSL, Cable, VDSL) depends heavily on the sequence and depth of transactions and on the ratio of transactional and non-transactional interactions. That is, as the network and application get more loads, the number of acceptable users decreases. By adding a cache server and an L4 switch to the simulation model, we analysed the changes in the number of users and client response time.

기업들은 트랜잭션 정보와 메타데이터 확보하기 위해 해마다 수십억 달러를 지출하고 있다.전자상거래 물결은 각종 트랜잭션을 자동화된 전자 프로세스로 전환시켜 이러한 비용의 상당부분을 절감할 수 있도록 하고 있다. 하지만 대부분의 기업들은 여전히 종이로 문서들을 교환하고 있다. 결과적으로 이들은 데이터 입력, 분류보관, 문서검색, 복사, 팩스, 다른 형태로의 문서 재구성에 아직도 수십억 달러를 지출하고 있다는 것이다.

Since traditional static metadata set like Dublin Core has static metadata attributes about bibliography information, integration of metadata for various metadata, problems about standard and extension of metadata must be considered for applying it to new environment. Specially, as event-driven metadata write method included the notion of e-commerce come out for interoperability in digital libraries, traditional metadata management which cannot distinguish between different kinds of update operations to new extension of metadata set occurs unsuitable waiting of update operation. So, improvement is needed about it. In this paper, we show whether alleviative transaction consistency can be applied to digital library or not. Also it would divide newer metadata into static metadata attribute connected in read operation within user read-only transaction and dynamic metadata attribute in update operation within dynamic(e-commerce) update transactions. We propose newer metadata management algorithm considered in classfication of metadata attributes and dynamic update transaction. Using two version for minimal maintenance cost and ARU(Appended Refresh Unit) for dynamic update transaction, to minimize conflict between read and write operations shows fast response time and high recency ratio. As a result of the performance evaluation, we show our algorithm is proved to be better than other algorithms in newer metadata environments.

인터넷 기반의 전자상거래 시스템 개발은 안정적 트랜잭션 처리, 복잡한 데이터베이스 구조, 멀티미디어 데이터 처리, 입체적 사용자 인터페이스 등의 여러 기술들이 적용되는, 복잡한 과제로 인식되고 있다. 웹 서버 기반의 객체지향 및 컴포넌트 표준으로 알려진 Enterprise JavaBean(EJB)은 복잡한 시스템 개발 기간을 단축하고 소프트웨어 품질을 높이며 재사용성이 높은 컴포넌트 소프트웨어 개발을 가능하게 한다. 본 논문에서는 전자상거래 개발을 위한 EJB 적용 지침을 제안한다.

전자상거래 분야는 다양한 소비자의 욕구를 지원하기 위한 컨텐츠를 기반으로 활성화되고있다. 즉, 효율적인 비즈니스 트랜잭션 처리를 위한 기법들이 연구되고 있으며 EJB와 같은 웹 기반 컴포넌트 기술이 응용되고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구는 웹 기반 EJB 컴포넌트 기술을 응용한 효율적인 전자상거래 컨텐츠 관리 및 처리를 위한 워크플로우를 설계하였다. 이에 따라, 다양한 컨텐츠의 핸들링을 위하여 웹 서버 컴포넌트 모델인 EJB를 사용하였으며, 기능단위의 컴포넌트들이 다양한 컨텐츠를 처리함으로써 재사용, 유지보수 등의 시스템 개발 효율성을 높일 수 있다.

기존의 쇼핑몰에 비해 창고비, 인건비 등과 같은 부대비용을 상대적으로 줄일 수 있는 인터넷 쇼핑몰이 증가 추세에 있다. 그러나 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 운용과 관련된 문제점들은 여전히 해결되지 않은 상태이며, 특히 개인의 보안문제, 상품 구매 시 상품가격이외에 소요되는 비용으로 암호화비용, 통신비용, 트랜잭션비용으로 나타나는 거래비용 등은 최우선적으로 개선되어야 할 중요한 과제다. 본 논문에서는 전자상거래와 관련된 기존의 기술들을 분석하고 이를 이용하여 전자화폐를 이용한 지불방식, 거래비용의 감소를 특징으로 하는 전자지불시스템을 제안한다.

본 논문에서는 인터넷상의 전자상거래를 지원하는 새로운 형태의 공급망 관리 체계를 제안하였다. 기존의 재고관리 프로그램이나 전사적 자원 관리 체계(ERP)를 중심으로 하는 공급망 관리 체계는 인터넷 기반의 전자상거래의 가장 중요한 요구사항중의 하나인 소량다품종의 상거래 특성에 대해 효율적인 지원이 불가능하다. 따라서, 본 고에서는 전자상거래 공급망 관리 체계를 구축하기 위한 새로운 아키텍춰인 분산형 트랜잭션 워크플로우 아키텍춰를 설계하였으며, 이를 Instance-Active 공급망 관리 아키텍춰라고 정의하였다.

A existing recommedation system using association rules has the problem, which is suffered from inefficiency by reprocessing of the data which have already been processed in the incremental data environment in which new data are added persistently. We propose the recommendation technique using incremental frequent pattern mining based on RFM in e-commerce. The proposed can extract frequent items and create association rules using frequent patterns mining rapidly when new data are added persistently.
