Development and Application of a Turtle Ship Model Based on Physical Computing Platform for Students of Industrial Specialized High School (공업계 특성화고 학생을 위한 피지컬 컴퓨팅 플랫폼 기반의 모형 거북선 개발 및 적용)

  • In this study, the model of Turtle Ship, which is evaluated as one of the world's first ironclad ship in battle as well as the traditional scientific and technological heritage in Korea, was combined with the Physical Computing Platform(Arduino and App Inventor) that enables students to learn the basic concepts of IT in an easy and fun way. Thus, this study contrived the Physical Computing Platform-based Turtle Ship model which will make the students of Industrial Specialized High School develop the technological literacy and humanities-based knowledge through flexible education out of stereotype and single subject as well as enhance the potential of creative convergence education. The following is a summary of the main results obtained through this study: First, Arduino-based Main-controller design and making is helpful to learn of the hardware and software knowledge about EEC(Electron Electronics Control) and to confirm the basic characteristics and performance of interaction of Arduino and actuators. Second, The fundamental Instructional environments of abilities such as implementing EEC systems, thinking logically, and problem-solving skills were provided by designing of pattern diagram, designing an actuator circuit and making, the creation of sketches as technical programming and developing of mobile app. Thirdly, This is physical computing platform based Turtle ship model that will enable students to bring up their technological literacy and interest in the cultural heritage.

  • D-Gun과 plasma 코팅이라고 하는 코팅(도금) 기술은 1950년대 미국 유니온 카바이드사에 의해 세계 최초로 개발되어 실용화된 이래 전세계의 산업전반에 걸쳐 꾸준히 그 응용분야가 확대되어 왔으며, 오늘날에는 점보 제트 여객기의 엔진으로부터 석유화학설비, 제철제강설비, 섬유기계, 인쇄기계, 제지기계, 식품기계, 발전설비, 자동화부품, 전자제품 등에 이르기까지 각종 산업기계 및 제품 생산에 응용되고 있다. 특히 최근에는 이들 산업기계가 고속화, 고성능화, 고품질화됨에 따라 그 구성부품도 필연적으로 고성능의 내구성 등이 요구되어 세라믹 등 특수 코팅의 필요성이 절실히 요구되고 있다.

Case Study the Awareness of Safety Education and School Safety of one Technical high school Students (일개 공업계 고등학교 학생의 안전교육과 학교안전 인식에 관한 사례 연구)

  • This case study was carried out for the purpose of surveying the awareness of safety and safety education among students in a technical high school, in order to provide the basic data for the effective education of technical high school students' safety management consciousness. The study was carried out using a questionnaire survey for which the respondents were 455 students. The results of the questionnaire were subjected to statistical processing, such as frequency analysis using SPSS for Windows version 19.0. The reliability of the questionnaire in this study is Cronbach' = 0.871~0.882. According to the survey results, the students think that the contents of the school safety education would not be of interest to them and that safety education in school would help their school life, but not be useful for their daily life.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and apply activity-centered STEM education program of electricity and electronics technology are in middle schools. The program was developed on the emphasis of problem solving in real world in relation to knowledge, attitude, and skill of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Basically the activity-centered STEM education program was developed through three steps of preparation, development and improvement. In the preparation stage the fellowing was included: (1) need analysis of student, educator, society (2) selection of integration type (3) analyzing subject matter of electricity, electronics area (4) establishing criteria for selecting activity tasks. In the development stage the fellowing was conducted: (1) selection of activity tasks (2) setting up educational goals (3) analyzing activity and clarifing the detailed activity (4) selecting program content, (5) organization of instructional content (6) statement of instructional objectives (7) structuring STEM education program In the improvement stage the fellowing was consisted of: (1) verification of validity by experts (2) execution of pilot test and field test by students and correction of program. The results of the applied the Activity-Based STEM Education Program to 'Afterschool' activities of S middle school were as follow: First, student' satisfaction level was high. Second, student' achievement in the cognitive domain, and affective domain was positive change. Third, student' problem solving ability was positive effect.

Sensitive and Selective Electrochemical Glucose Biosensor Based on a Carbon Nanotube Electronic Film (탄소나노튜브 전자 필름을 이용한 고감도-고선택성 전기화학 글루코스 센서)

  • This work presents a non-destructive and straightforward approach to assemble a large-scale conductive electronic film made of a pre-treated single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) solution. For effective electron transfer between the immobilized enzyme and SWCNT electronic film, we optimized the pre-treatment step of SWCNT with p-terphenyl-4,4"-dithiol and dithiothreitol. Glucose oxidase (GOx, a model enzyme in this study) was immobilized on the SWCNT electronic film following the positively charged polyelectrolyte layer deposition. The glucose detection was realized through effective electron transfer between the immobilized GOx and SWCNT electronic film at the negative potential value (-0.45 V vs. Ag/AgCl). The SWCNT electronic film-based glucose biosensor exhibited a sensitivity of 98 ㎂/mM·cm2. In addition, the SWCNT electronic film biosensor showed the excellent selectivity (less than 4 % change) against a variety of redox-active interfering substances, such as ascorbic acid, uric acid, dopamine, and acetaminophen, by avoiding co-oxidation of the interfering substances at the negative potential value.

  • Porous materials are useful in a wide range of applications including bio/electronic products. The preparation and processing of these materials are mainly progressed by using an organic solvent, which gives rise to air pollution by its emissions. Alternatively, supercritical fluids are well suited to the production of functional porous materials due to a number of specific physical, chemical, and toxicological advantages. In this review, we will introduce the preparation and processing techniques for the formation of the nano/macro pore structure and their morphology, which can be controled by using supercritical fluids.

  • In this paper we use general centrifugal pump instead of screw pump in alternative Energy system. This alternative Energy system with screw pump compared the volume flour of water pumping and efficiency. Screw pump is designed that it rotated without a toque in another Shaft. Futhermore it have noise and abrasion, The pump used in high pressure with fast rotate.

  • We study on the preparation of green emitting materials for organic light emitting device. 3-chromonealdehyde derivatives possessing a conjugated structure, which were composed of electron acceptor of 3-chromonealdehydes and electron donor of diamines, were synthesized by dehydration-condensation process. The structural properties of reaction products were analyzed FT-IR and $^1H-NMR$ spectroscopy. The thermal stabilities and reactivities were measured by melting points and yields. The UV-visibles and PL properties can be determined by excitation spectra and emission spectra, respectively.

  • 올해는 광복 63주년, 건국 60주년이 되는 해다. 대한민국은 건국 초기 1인당 국민소득 50달러를 밑도는 최빈국에서 반세기만에 무려 400배 가까운 신장으로 선진국 문턱에 바짝 다가서는 '한강의 기적'을 일궜다. 경제성장과 민주화라는 두마리 토끼를 성공적으로 잡은 대한민국을 초고속 성장으로 이끈 견인차가 과학기술임을 부인할 수 없다. 1970-80년대의 중화학공업, 1990-2000년대의 전자 및 IT, 생명공학(BT), 자동차.철강.조선 등 우리 경제를 이끌어온 성장 동력의 저변엔 우수 두뇌의 눈부신 활약이 있었다. 무엇보다 갖가지 열악한 여건 아래서도 인력 양성과 산업 입국을 통해 나라를 부강하게 했던 원로들의 눈물겨운 희생과 헌신이 오늘의 우리를 있게 한 것이다. 그러나 그에 대한 점검과 정리는 미흡하다. 공교롭게도 전사회적으로 과학기술계 홀대와 이공계 기피 풍조가 만연하면서 우리는 선진국 문턱에서 주춤거리고 있다. 월간 '과학과 기술'은 이달부터 '과학원로에게 듣는다'를 신설, 지난 60년 동안 우리 과학기술계를 이끌어온 원로들의 활약과 혜안, 그리고 조언을 경청하고자 한다. 그리하여 대한민국이 다시금 성장의 추동력을 받아 온전한 선진국 반열에 들어서는데 일조하게 되기를 간절히 소망한다.

A Problem Study of Arithmetic Section Contents in Computer Architecture Textbooks of the Technical High School (공업 계열 고등학교 컴퓨터 구조 교과서의 연산 장치 영역 내용의 문제점 분석)

  • 국가 교육과정에서 컴퓨터 하드웨어만을 교과 내용으로 하는 최초의 과목은 4차 교육과정 시기 중공업 계열 고등학교에 신설된 '전자 계산기 구조' 과목으로 현재의 '컴퓨터 구조' 과목에 해당된다. 컴퓨터 구조 과목의 교과 목표는 학습자가 컴퓨터의 구조와 동작 원리를 바르게 이해하고 컴퓨터를 효율적으로 활용할 수 있도록 하는데 있다. 교과 목표를 위해서는 교과서의 내용이 정확해야 하고 현재의 컴퓨터 구조를 바르게 반영하고 있어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 공업 계열 고등학교의 컴퓨터 구조 과목에 제시된 연산 장치 영역 내용의 문제점을 컴퓨터 구조 전문 서적과의 비교를 통해 파악해 보고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 교과서의 연산 장치 영역에는 정확성과 일관성이 결여된 개념 정의와 현재의 CPU 구조를 반영하지 못한 내용이 포함되어 있었다. ALU와 연산 장치에 대한 설명이 교과서별 상이하였고, 연산 장치의 구성 요소들은 현재 사용되고 있는 CPU 구조를 바르게 나타내고 있지 않았다. 이러한 문제점들은 컴퓨터 과학의 역사적, 기술적 고찰을 통해 개선될 필요가 있다.
