  • In Visually Evoked Potentials(VEP) or Auditory Evoked Potentials(AEP), the components by the stimulation and the components which are irrelevant to the stimulation(noise or nonstationary spontaneous EEG) are mixed together. So one should average hundreds of EP waves to extract the components by the stimulation only. In this study, we have classified EP's, which are the responses of the different stimulations and different states of subjects. To classify the EP waves, the cross-correlation coefficients and neural network method(error back propagation) are used and compared.

직교이방성 판 내의 다중 곡선균열 해석 (Analysis of Multiple Curved Cracks in An Orthotropic Plate)

  • The interactions between curved cracks are examined in an orthotropic plate and the effects of rectilinear anisotropy on the stress intensity factors are analyzed. The finite element alternating method (FEAM) is used in this study to get the stress intensity factors for the multiple curved cracks. To obtain analytical solutions, which is necessary in FEAM, the curved cracks are modeled as continuous distributions of dislocations, and integral equations are formulated for unknown dislocation density functions to satisfy the given resultant forces on the crack surfaces. Several basic problems are solved to verify the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method and it can be found that present results show good agreements with the previously published results.

  • Factors causing deterioration of concrete structures under marine environment are various, especially penetration and diffusion of chloride ion, carbon dioxide, and water through pore effects on the durability of concrete as well as mechanical properties of concrete. Pore of porous materials like concrete can be classified as micro-, meso-, and macro-pore. And pore of cement matrix is classified as pore which occupied by water, air void, and ITZ between cement paste and aggregates. In this study, to verify the relationship between pore of cement matrix and the property of chloride ion diffusivity, the regression analysis is producted. From the result of regression analysis, the average pore diameter more than total pore volume effects on the diffusivity of chloride ion.

계수작업시 사상관련전위 및 작업성능에 미치는 조명조건의 영향 (Effects of Illuminating Condition on ERP and Work Performance during a Counting Task)

  • Work performance and human error are complicated phenomena so that it is very difficult to grasp the true nature of them. However, Event Related Potential (ERP) may give a clue to them because human brain reflects diverse psychophysiological process. In the present study, the possibility of ERP application to the ergonomic area was evaluated in view of grasping error symptoms. For that purpose, the subjects were asked to count specific characters in a random character matrix on a computer monitor, and their ERP was compared with their performance data. Based upon the results, the amplitude of P300 was not so high as that in the case of the Odd Ball tasks, correct response corresponded with stable ERP with high P300 amplitude whereas wrong response did with unstable, fluctuating ERP with low P300 amplitude. Those results coincided with the work performance, and it was concluded that 3-wave fluorescent with illumination level of 800 lux would be recommendable for the counting task in concern. Conclusively, ERP including P300 might supply an objective clue to the problem of human errors in cognitive process.

  • 비 직선적 정(+) 저항온도계수 특성을 갖는 PTC thermistor는 전이온도(큐리점) 부근에서 온도변화에 대하여 극히 큰 저항 값의 변화를 나타내는 산화물계반도체 저항기(또는 발열체)로써, 일반적으로 반도체의 온도-저항 특성과 같이 상온영역에서 온도의 상승과 함께 부성저항 특성을 나타내다가 온도가 점점 증가하여 큐리점 부근에 도달하면 저항이 급격히 증가하는 독특한 특성을 갖는다. Perovskite 구조의 $BaTiO_3$를 주성분으로 미량의 Dopant를 첨가하여 도전성을 갖게 한 N형 반도체의 일종으로 저항-온도 특성 전류-전압 특성, 전류감쇄 특성 등을 이용하여 과전류 보호회로, 히터, TV 소자회로(degausser), 모터기동회로, 온도센서, 정온발열기기 등으로 널리 사용된다. 본 연구는 큐리점 부근의 급격한 저항변화 현상과 결정입계의 전위장벽 형성 및 그에 따른 정온발열 기능의 상관성으로부터 그 응용성을 조사하였다.

  • 마이크로 스케일에서 다결정 재료의 소성 거동을 살펴볼 때, 결정의 geometrically necessary dislocation(GND) 효과에 의한 소성 구배(plastic gradient)의 고려는 재료의 소성 거동에 큰 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 소성 구배의 영향을 살펴보기 위하여 다결정 고체(polycrystalline solids)의 거동을 유한요소해석을 이용하여 살펴보았다. 소성 구배의 영향을 살펴보기 위하여 구배 경화 계수(gradient hardness coefficient)와 먼 거리 변형률에 대한 재료 길이 변수(material length parameter)가 사용되었다. 재료 길이 변수의 영향을 살펴보기 위해, 재료 길이 변수의 차이에 따른 다결정 고체의 거동을 분석하였다. 또한 소성 구배 효과의 고려와 재료 길이 변수의 변화에 따라서 다결정 고체 내부에 위치한 단결정이 받는 영향을 살펴보았다. 재료 길이 변수에 따라 결정이 받는 영향을 비교하여, GND에 의한 다결정 고체 거동의 영향을 확인하였다.

  • 토양내에서 황산이온의 이동성은 산화환원전위, 토양광물 특성, pH, 그리고 환산이온과 토양입자 표면에 흡착에 관여하는 타 음이온들에 의해 영향을 받는다고 알려져 있 다. 제시된 황산이온의 흡착 기작은 토양입자 표면과 수용성상태의 음이온간의 상관 관계를 나타낸 것이다. 그러므로 흡 탈착연구로 부터 얻어진 적정한 계수를 적용함으로서 다중 이온이 존재하는 토양내에서의 일반적 등온흡착 곡선을 적용할 수 있는 이 동모형은 실험적 접근 방법을 수용하게 된다.

  • Environmental fatigue crack propagation of CF8M and CF8A steels used in the domestic PWR were investigated on the simulated PWR condition(Temperature: $316^{\circ}C$, Pressure: 15MPa). The test equipment for environmental fatigue(high temperature-high pressure loop, autoclave, load frame, measurement system) were designed. As-received and 60-year aged specimens were used in the test. To compare with environmental fatigue test, another test was performed in the air condition. The fracture surface of specimens were difficult to verify the fracture modes such as striation, intergranular crack and cleavage and so on. As the ferrite content of CF8M is increased, more particles covered fracture surface were peeled.

웨이브렛 계수를 축소와 평균 가산에 의한 유발전위뇌파신호의 추출 (Extraction of evoked potentials using the shrinkage and averaging method of wavelet coefficients)

  • For the effective removal of artifacts and the extraction of an improved evoked potential response, we propose the averaging method usin gthe shrinkag eof wavelet coefficients. The wavelet analysis decomposes the measured evoked potentials into scale coefficients with low frequency components and wavelet coefficients with high ones as a resolution level, respectively. and in the course of synthesis evoked potentials, the presented method shrinks the wavelet coefficients, and then reproduces the evoked potentials, and lastly averages it. We measured visual evoked potentials to simulate the averaging method using the shrinkage of wavelet coefficients, and compared it with aveaged signal. As a result of simulations, the proposed method gets improved VEP about 0.2-1.6dB in comparison with the averaging method with daubechies wavelet in the resolution level four.

  • we propose the shrinkage of wavelet coefficients and the averaging method. The wavelet analysis decomposes the measured evoked potentials into scale coefficients and wavelet coefficients as a resolution level, respectively. And in the course of synthesis of evoked potentials, the presented method shrinks the wavelet coefficients, and then reproduces the evoked potentials and lastly averages it. we measured VEP signal to simulate the presented method, and compared it with averaged signal and LMS algorithm. As a result of simulations, the proposed method gets improved VEP about 0.2-1.6db in comparison with the result of averaging method.
