This paper presents the development of an algorithm for the reliability and life of a hypoid gear axle system (located in the last section of power train) in heavy vehicles. The algorithm is developed about expecting the reliability and service-life for applied loads on each component in the system using the Weibull's probabilistic distribution and the extended Palmgren's model. The probabilistic method is used to results. Also this model is involved in predicting the failure which is related to the number of load cycles with the approaching load. Then the precious evaluation of the reliability and life in the axle system can be effectively carried out. Thus the general procedures of a reliability and life design, including the mathematical formulation and numerical examples, are illustrated for a hypoid gear axle system.

공공 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경은 대부분 사용자가 직접 데이터를 보유하지 않고 데이터 센터의 논리적으로 분리된 저장 공간에 데이터가 존재하는 환경이기 때문에 데이터의 유효한 보안은 매우 중요하다. 더군다나 데이터 센터 내에 위치한 기밀데이터를 사용자 사이에 공유하고자 하는 경우에 안전한 공유기법이 제공되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 공공 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 계약된 신뢰 모델을 기반으로 안전한 기밀 데이터 공유 방법을 제안한다. 공공 클라우드에서 사용자에게 데이터 제어권을 두고, 클라우드 서비스 제공자는 단지 데이터를 저장, 검색, 전송하는 프록시(Proxy) 서버 역할을 하게하여 증가하는 데이터 공유와 협업을 위한 데이터 공유 기법을 제안한다.

트위터 사용자들은 어떠한 이슈에 대해 트위터를 통해 빠르고 간결하게 다른 사람들과의 지속적인 커뮤니케이션을 원하고, 이러한 특징은 이슈 별 사건에 따라 트윗 개수에 영향을 미치게 된다. 만약 어느 하나의 사회적 이슈에 대해 어떠한 사건이 일어나게 되면 그때의 트윗 개수는 폭발적으로 증가하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 특징을 이용하여 트위터 자료를 시간별로 분석하여 사건을 인식하고, 감성 자질과 카이제곱 값을 이용해 해당 날짜에 대한 핵심 사건을 추출한다.

본 논문은 온라인상에서 제공되는 다양한 정보와 기술을 사용하여 20세기민중생활사 연구단의 디지털아카이브즈 시스템을 보다 효율적으로 사용하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 자료 관리를 위하여 기본적으로 더블린 코어 표준에 기초한 20세기민중생활사 디지털 아카이브즈 시스템 데이터베이스를 사용하였으며, Daum과 Naver에서 제공하는 Open API를 통하여 디지털 아카이브즈 데이터를 보다 현장감 있게 사용할 수 있도록 하였다.

본 논문에서는 질의 조합을 기반한 핵심질의 클러스터와 비핵심질의 클러스터를 각각 어휘 그래프로 표현한다. 이 때, 핵심질의 클러스터는 잠정적 적합 문서 집합으로, 비핵심질의 클러스터는 잠정적 부적합 문서 집합으로 본다. 핵심질의 클러스터의 어휘 그래프에서 비핵심질의 클러스터의 어휘 그래프를 빼서 확장어휘를 선택한다. 본 논문의 유효성을 검증하기 위해 웹문서 테스트컬렉션인 TREC WT10g 에 대해 실험하였고, 언어모델보다 평균정확률의 평균(MAP)이 9.4% 향상되었다.

This study investigated and analyzed the village space and architectural characteristics of Eoeun Village, Samgye-myeon, Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk. The space of the village was formed based on the idea of feng shui, and the Confucian hierarchical idea determined the location, size, and structure of the building. Recently, clan villages in rural areas have been dismantled and damaged due to population outflow and urbanization. In this situation, Eoeun Village, which preserves the traditional space and residential form at the time of the village's creation, is considered to be worth preserving and studying.

This study includes the taxanomy, description and a key to species of mites in the genus Asca from Korea. Specimens were collected from December 1993 to May 1996. As a result of this study, the following three species were identified. 1. Asca (Asca) aphidioides (Linne, 1758) 2. Asca (Asca) sculptrata Aoki, 1968 3. Asca (Asca) garmani Hurlbutt, 1963 These three species have not been described from Korea.

Astigmatid mites collected from forest and pasture soil in Korea during the period of June, 1997 to July, 1998 were examined, and seven species were identified as follows. 1. Tyrophagus putrescentiae (Schrank, 1781) 2. T. longior (Grevais, 1844) 3. T. similis Volgin, 1949 4. Rhizoglyphus robini Claparede, 1869 5. Suidasia nesbitti Hughes, 1948 6. Histiostoma feronarium (Dufour, 1839) 7. H. sapromyzorum (Dufour, 1839) of them T. longior, T. similis, H. feronarium and H. sapromyzorum are newly added to Korean fauna.

Developed in this paper is a feature based modeling system for the design of welded plat construction(WPC) which is composed of flat or bended plates represented as reference plane with a constant thickness. First, the necessity and the characteristics of the modeing system for WPC as compared with the assembly of mechanical parts are investigated. Secondly, feature library for the assembly of WPC is shown which contains several types of features like joint feature, groove feature, material feature, and precision feature. Thirdly, the assembly procedures are presented which mainly consist of both the assembly transformation and the correct assembly checking. Fourthly, weld lines of the assembled WPC are defined so that those can be used in the process planning or the manufacturing stage. Finally, a prototype by a geometric modeling software Pro/Engineer, a graphic software GL(Graphic Library), and C language on a CAD workstation IRIS.

Typical plastic strains in the machined surface are very difficult to measure, since they are located within a very short distance from the surface and they change very rapidly. There is an alternative way to determine the residual strain in plastically deformed materials by measuring the grain size after a subsequent recrystallization precess. Although, this technique has been successfully applied by several researchers to find the plastic zone around notches and cracks in various materials and welding beads, few works have been reported using the recrystallization method to determine the residual strains in machined surface. Therefore, the purpose of this investigation is to explore the effectiveness of the recrystallization technique in machining applications and in particular, to find the effect of cutting parameters, i.e., depth of cut, rake angle, on the plastic strains. As the result, the recrystallization technique was succesfully applid to determine the plastic strain in machined surface.
