The Academic library services are based on specialized subject resources in academic fields in order to maximize the desirable direction of its services. Accordingly, there are some academic libraries introduced and applied subject specialist librarians. However, they can not objectively analyze the strengths and weaknesses as well as future directions to subject specialized service. The purpose of this study examined three library cases which the structure of organized subject specialist librarian. It tried to give a set of effective guidelines for academic libraries to introduce subject specialist librarian. Analysis showed that the initial problems of subject specialist librarians in its early stages are appeared: carrying out the role, appraisal-results in human resource decision making such as rewards and promotion. In order to successful introduction of subject specialist librarian in academic library, there are solutions that solving the problems which happen in early stage, active guidance and public relations strategy for faculty, approaching to activate integration within its library and cooperating among academic libraries should be back up for improving effectiveness in the long term.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the contents and problems of present education for safety education specialist and provide suggestions for improvement in the future by examining the current status of capacity building education for safe education specialist. Method: The analysis of current status was conducted based on the results of two training sessions on safety education specialists and the research on the actual condition was carried on targeting safety education specialists. Result: As a result of the research, most of the contents of education for safety education specialist are biased toward theory and lack of a systematic education system, resulting in that safety education tends to be field education and focuses on theory and audio-visual education. Safety education is not solved by theory, but can be maximized the effect through experience and practice to experience the real situation. Conclusion: Therefore, based on the results of this study, a method of ICT is proposed to utilize for safety education, so that safety education specialists can be provided with practical and effective safety education, which can be used at real safety field.

Academia-industrial cooperation policy is essential to enhance national competitiveness in Korea. Although government and academia have invested in policies and supported industries, academia-industrial cooperation is not operated actively. This is one of the reasons why industrial demand for cooperation has continuously decreased. There are thoughts that universities' outcomes are larger than colleges' outcomes in academia-industrial cooperation, which could be a barrier to academia-industrial cooperation for colleges. It is important to understand industry demands in order to activate this type of cooperation. We propose a way to achieve this based on survey data for 3D printing and college graduates. Interactive cooperation among industries, colleges, and universities is suggested in the process of technical commercialization, such as TRL (Technology Readiness Level).

This study purpose to identifying the roles of Health Information Librarian which its role is increasing according to increase recent interest in wellness and health. In other words, this study will present the Education, careen duties and so on, which should be possed by Health Information Librarian, based on the analysis of Job Site. As as result, first, health information professional librarian's name appears very diverse, and consumer health information librarian will be appropriate name for public libraries and medical librarian will be appropriate for medical library and hospital library. Second, education experience required for health information librarian is master's degree of library and information science and bachelor's or more health related degree. Third, at least two years of health-related field experience, particularly health information service experience, is required. Forth, excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills are required, expecially higher knowledge for health-related information resources is required. Fifth, the main duties what health information librarian need to perform, are library management services, training services, research services, access to and sharing of information resources, collection management, information management, information management technology, and advocacy.
