Magazines on specific genres have been operating collaborative, co-working and collective production systems for value maximization using an adaptation strategy on the dynamic, complex and uncertain value network of the magazine industry. The study used a case study method, and data collection was performed by observational research, depth interviews and survey research. The subjects of the study were 'magazine industry', 'magazine firm and community', and 'collaboration system within creative users'. According to the research results, the ecosystem of magazines on a specific genre has been evolving into an innovative value network system, which is combined with the magazine firm, community users and magazine platform. Second, the rapid introduction of smart device environment changes the way of the collaborating system, in which an action and interaction came out within the community, creative users and magazine firms. Third, the production agency shows strong action and interaction, which fits the magazine platform within the ecosystem of a magazine on a specific genre well. This model has a similar fractal structure to the game, publishing, drama, movie, comic, and animation contents industry, converging to an innovative technology-based-creative-industry.

This study researched the user experience of the monthly magazine subscription service, focusing on design students and designers. The revenue of magazine industry has been declined since 2012 and some magazines stop publishing or cease to publish. That is why this studied the user experience of magazine subscription services of monthly to increase magazine sales revenue, the largest portion of whole revenue. A survey and in-depth interviews with subscribers and non-subscribers was conducted to suggest improvements for the monthly . Since this study focused on user experience of magazine subscription, it could be a future reference for studying magazine subscription service.

한국잡지협회(회장 이창의)는 지난 9월 8일 프레스센터 19층 기자회견장에서 회원 및 회원사 임직원 150명을 대상으로 2011 잡지발전세미나를 개최했다. '새로운 미디어 환경속에서의 잡지산업'이라는 대주제로 진행된 이번 세미나에서 박광무 한나라당 수석전문위원이 '문화산업정책의 방향과 잡지산업 발전전략'에 대해, 윤용근 법무법인 송현 변호사가 '잡지와 저작권 이야기(저작권 실무)'에 대해 발표했다. 본지는 윤용근 변화사의 '잡지와 저작권 이야기'발제를 요약 정리한다.

최근 영국 런던의 권위있는 등산잡지인 '알파인 저널'과 아시안 산악잡지 '히말라야 저널' 등에서 청주의 자랑 직지봉 탄생에 대해 관심을 보였다. 이에 원정대는 지난 한 달간의 원정 기간에 히말라야와 사투를 벌인 대원들의 우정, 직지봉 명명 과정 등을 영문 기록일지를 작성해 이들 잡지사에 보냈다. 또한 대부분 원정대는 전문 셀파를 고용하는 게 일반적이지만 직지원정대는 올해와 지난해 모두 전문 셀파를 고용하지 않았다.

The Journals of medical libraries an the primary resources of medical library collections, and the majority of them are foreign journals. Recently, medical libraries have some difficulties in purchasing materials due to the rapidly increasing journal Vices and the curtailment in the budget. A proposal for the establishment of an information center for controlling Korean medical bibliographies was suggested. This system will be expected to contribute to the users for acquiring materials more effectively.

본 연구의 목적은 한국 잡지 속에 나타난 자동차광고의 레이아웃디자인 트랜드를 연구해 보고자 한다. 국내자동차 전문국내 잡지 모터매거진(motor magazine)속에 나타난 자동차잡지광고 50개를 조사 분석하여 타이포그래피, 사진, 색상, 여백의 4가지 요소를 분석한 결과 사진의 배경은 자연이미지를 주로 쓰고, 자동차사진은 입체감이 잘 나타나도록 45도 각도로 되어있으며, 가독성의 중요함을 서체의 크기나 정렬방법을 통하여 알 수 있었다.
