The purpose of this study is to contribute research on mathematics education by reviewing earlier studies on teachers' communities. To do so, I searched literature on various kinds of teacher community such as study groups, video clubs, and lesson study. Teacher community has been studied for professional development of teachers and there existed many studies that teacher community help teachers develop their professionals in real. From reviewing literature, I suggest that researchers in Korea need to study about teachers' communities and to find ways using communities in teacher development programs.

This study was conducted to explore the direction of elderly care worker education by analyzing the dual mediating effects of professionalism and positive psychological capital on the impact of elderly care worker education on service quality. As a result of this analysis, elderly care worker education was found to have a significant impact on service quality, professionalism and positive psychological capital and it's confirmed that the more positive the perception of elderly care worker education, the more positive the perception of service quality, professionalism and positive psychological capital. In addition, professionalism and positive psychological capital show that each two mediates the impact of the elderly care worker education on service quality so elderly care worker education can improve service quality by enhancing professionalism, and we can see that the elderly care worker education can be a factor that improves service quality by enhancing positive psychological capital. It's found that professionalism and positive psychological capital is by dual mediating the impact of elderly care worker education on service quality so professionalism had a significant effect on positive psychological capital. Accordingly, it's confirmed that elderly care worker education improves professionalism, and that improved professionalism promotes positive psychological capital, thereby improving service quality. According to the results of this study, it's empirically confirmed that develop professionalism is important in the elderly care worker education, and that enhancing positive psychological capital through the develop professionalism can ultimately improve service quality. Therefore, there is a significance to that it's able to predict elderly care worker education in the future should include education related to the improvement of professionalism and positive psychological capital.

This study was aimed to clarify the concept of professionalism of the nurse. Walker and Avant's concept analysis process was used. The main attributes of professionalism of the nurse were advanced nursing knowledge, excellent nursing skill, person-centered nursing care, ethicality, responsibility, peer cooperation, autonomy, and outstanding situational judgement, and problem solving. The antecedents were a long enough period of nursing education and experience, research activities, personal qualities, and self-directed training. The consequences were improvement of professional identity and low turnover rates of nurses; improvement of nursing satisfaction, health recovery and well-being for patients; improvement of nursing quality, revenue, and reputation for hospital; gaining social recognition and development of nursing profession; obtaining financial benefits in national health care for nation. The findings of the study provide clarification of the concept of professionalism of the nurse and lay the foundation to establish professionalism among nurses to deliver good nursing care.

This paper aims to identify factors to elevate the effectiveness of a high school mathematics teacher's training program focused on the construction of test items, and to make a blueprint for the training program development of high school mathematics teachers. This study created and executed a teacher's training program, and then twice applied focus group interviews with the teachers who participated in the program. As a result, this study identifies four factors that elevate the effectiveness of a high school mathematics teacher's training program focused on the construction of test items: the structure of the training program that allows teachers to concentrate on constructing test items, the recognition and revision of their habits related to the construction of test items, the formation of a consensus among the participants, and self-reflection on the teachers' specialties in the construction of the test items.

This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of the mathematics teacher's training program: whether the training program is effective to improve mathematics teachers' professional competency of the developing assessment instrument (including items) or not. The teachers who were attendee of the program did pre-test before the program and post-test after the program. They wrote the opinions on the pre-developed items which had many errors in the beginning and discussed their opinions each others in the middle of program. The differences between pre-test and post-test and between opinions in the beginning and in the middle were analysed. The first result of the study is that the teacher's professional competency which is evaluated as self-perceived points is improved with regard to understanding the standardized test, item difficulty and item discrimination. Secondly, the proportion of the opinion with concrete reasons is increased as the program progressed. Thirdly, the effective elements of the program are the discussion in the group, discussion between groups, and feedback from the instructor. But the ineffective element of the program is the insufficient time for practicing.

This study aims to classify the types of instructional expertise development activities of teachers who teach subjects related to software education in primary schools. To this end, the study analyzes their participation in expertise development activities over the recent three years, outcomes from these activities, and forms and characteristics of expertise development activities. In the questionnaire survey conducted for this study, 276 primary school teachers participated. According to the survey, the same largest proportion of them participated in collective job training (96%) and distant job training (96%), followed by consulting, instruction supervision, mentoring, and peer observation (82%), lectures, workshops, and seminars held by related government ministries and the provincial and municipal offices of education (69%), and teachers' study communities (66%). Among informal activities, reading accounted for the highest portion of the activities (88%), followed by the use of information on Websites including YouTude and GitHub (80%), and teachers' expertise development networks (76%). The reasons for their participation in the activities were mostly to improve their instructional expertise (80%). Their participation in the activities had an impact on usefulness to enhance instructional expertise, improvement of job competencies, application to current jobs, sense of instructional efficacy, and positive effect. These results of the study are expected to provide a foundation for preparing continued expertise development plans that can promote the educational value of primary school teachers' instructional expertise development activities for teaching subjects related to software education.

This study investigated the influence of clinical physical therapist's perception of their work environment and their attitude toward professionalization on individual job satisfaction. This study is a cross-sectional survey of clinical physical therapists 356 working in hospital, and utilized a structured questionnaire. As a result of this study, in their twenties, women, physical therapist with low clinical experience, and physical therapists working at hospital level showed low job satisfaction. Most of the physical therapists said that they needed a system for professionalism, and the lower the job satisfaction was, the higher the attitude toward the necessity of introducing a professional system. The variables affecting job satisfaction were academic background and annual salary. Therefore, in order to improve the job satisfaction of physical therapists, improvement of salary and learning for professionalism played an important role in improving job satisfaction. Self-development and job specialization through the introduction of a system for equipping expertise appear to be important to improve the job satisfaction.

Social work credentialing systems, which is broadly defined as encompassing licensing, certification, and registration, play an important role in the development of professionalism. The U.S., Japan, and South Korea have developed their own social work credentialing systems, in order to enhance social work professionalism in their own contexts. In this paper, using case-oriented strategy(Ragin, 1987, 1994), we discuss the social work credentialing systems of the U.S., Japan, and South Korea, with particular attentions to the issues related to eligibility, exclusive status as a profession, and regulation on social work education. We also provide recommendations for enhancing social work professionalism in South Korea through comparing social work credentialing systems of Japan and the U.S.

사회 패러다임의 변화는 교육 패러다임의 변화를 요구하며, 교육 패러다임의 변화는 교사의 역할도 함께 변화할 것을 요구한다. 현대 사회는 많은 지식을 습득한 인재를 양성하는 것보다, 지식을 습득하는 방법과 습득한 지식을 활용하여 문제를 효과적으로 해결하는 인재를 양성할 것을 요구하고 있다. 따라서 교사는 현대 사회가 요구하는 학습자를 양성하기 위하여 지식 전달자의 역할에서 문제 해결자를 양성하는 역할로 탈바꿈해야 한다. 이를 위해서는 교사는 학습자가 교과에서 반드시 학습해야 하는 개념과 원리를 깊이 있게 이해하고 이를 활용하여 문제를 해결할 수 있도록 안내하는 역할을 해야 한다. 이러한 점에서 볼 때 프로그래밍은 교사의 수업 전문성 향상을 위한 훌륭한 도구이다. 프로그래밍은 교사가 원하는 교수 학습 자료나 추상적인 내용을 시각적으로 확인하는 자료, 혹은 사람의 사고 능력으로 해결하기 어렵거나 시간이 오래 걸리는 문제들을 해결하는 자료 제작을 지원함으로써 학습자의 깊은 이해를 유도할 수 있다. 따라서 수업 전문성 향상을 위한 프로그래밍 교육 실천함으로써 교사가 사회에서 요구하는 인재를 양성하는 임무를 충실히 수행할 수 있도록 해야 할 필요가 있다.

본 연구에서는 카페 비즈니스에서 중요한 서비스 품질의 여러 요인 중 카페의 사회문화성이 새로운 커피 비즈니스의 주요 특성으로 대두됨을 인식하여 이를 통해 카페의 이미지와 브랜드 충성도의 향상방안을 모색해보고자 함에 본 연구의 목적이다. 커피 전문점 중 전문브랜드와, 지역브랜드, 개인카페를 중심으로 설문을 통해 이를 분석한 결과, 카페 서비스품질 중 사회문화성은 전국 프랜차이즈는 브랜드 충성도를 도리어 낮추는 결과를 주지만 개인카페는 브랜드 충성도를 높이는 요인으로 작용하는 차별된 효과가 나타나 개인카페나 지역프랜차이즈의 카페 비즈니스에서는 전문성이 기반이 되어야만 브랜드 충성도를 향상시킬 수 있으며, 개인카페는 지역 프랜차이즈보다는 더욱 덜 복잡한 서비스 전략이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 개인카페의 특수한 사항들이 사회문화성을 통한 브랜드 이미지를 향상시키고 이를 통해 브랜드 충성도를 높이는 것을 알 수 있다. 결과적으로 전국 프랜차이즈는 서비스 품질 중 접근성과 확신성을 통해 브랜드 이미지와 브랜드 충성도가 높아지는 전략이 우선적으로 대두되며, 그 외의 서비스 품질들은 충분히 현재의 상태로도 매우 만족스러운 결과인 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 지역 프랜차이즈의 경우는 서비스 품질 중 확신성이 강화되고, 서비스 전문성과 접근성을 통해서 더욱 브랜드 이미지와 브랜드 충성도를 향상시킬 수 있는 전략이 마련되어야 전국 프랜차이즈화 될 수 있는 고객의 인지력을 향상할 수 있는 전략이 모색된다. 반면, 지역기반의 개인카페들은 전국단위의 프랜차이즈보다 전국단위의 프랜차이즈로 나아가기 위해서는 지역기반의 지역프랜차이즈 카페들보다도 전문성 강화가 중요하며, 사회문화성을 강조하는 서비스 전략을 통해 고객들로 하여금 브랜드 충성도를 높이도록 전략화 방안이 필요하다.
