Machine-Learning Based Biomedical Term Recognition (기계학습에 기반한 생의학분야 전문용어의 자동인식)

  • There has been increasing interest in automatic term recognition (ATR), which recognizes technical terms for given domain specific texts. ATR is composed of 'term extraction', which extracts candidates of technical terms and 'term selection' which decides whether terms in a term list derived from 'term extraction' are technical terms or not. 'term selection' is a process to rank a term list depending on features of technical term and to find the boundary between technical term and general term. The previous works just use statistical features of terms for 'term selection'. However, there are limitations on effectively selecting technical terms among a term list using the statistical feature. The objective of this paper is to find effective features for 'term selection' by considering various aspects of technical terms. In order to solve the ranking problem, we derive various features of technical terms and combine the features using machine-learning algorithms. For solving the boundary finding problem, we define it as a binary classification problem which classifies a term in a term list into technical term and general term. Experiments show that our method records 78-86% precision and 87%-90% recall in boundary finding, and 89%-92% 11-point precision in ranking. Moreover, our method shows higher performance than the previous work's about 26% in maximum.

  • In this study, we want to analyze the aspect that required in the classroom for the operation of NCS-based curriculum, the interest of specialized subject teachers on implementable teaching and learning methods. As a result, the overall interest in teaching-learning method of specialized subject teachers was similar to that of non-user patterns among four types of interest patterns. In other words, specialized subject teachers want to know more about teaching-learning method for applying NCS-based curriculum, but we are only aware of the general facts at present, and it seems that there is low interest in actual operation. In addition, there was no statistically significant difference in the degree of interest in the teaching-learning method according to general variables(gender, related training experience, career, and curriculum group) of the specialized subject teachers. The specialized subject teachers are not well aware of the influence of the teaching-learning method according to the introduction of NCS-based curriculum, and to that end, there was little interest in collaboration with colleagues.

A Study on the Curriculum Development for the Training of Specialized Librarians in Reading Guidance (독서지도 전문사서 양성을 위한 교육과정 개발 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a curriculum for the Training of Specialized Librarians who have both practical and theoretical knowledge in order to enhance the professionalism of reading instruction required by librarians. For this purpose, We developed a training librarian course for reading instruction through a data collecting method such as literature study, FGI, and Delphi analysis. As a result, the curriculum for reading instruction librarians was organized with 17 modules totaling 267 hours. Level courses are in the order of Basic-Deepening-Advanced. The 8 basic courses are all in cyber education format, and the total of 74 hours is completed. The 5 deepening courses consist of three sets of courses and two courses 100 hours, and the 4 advanced courses are all in the form of integrated education, taking 93 hours in total.

  • 공업전문대학은 신설된 것을 제외하고는 대부분 공업전문학교가 개편된 것이며, 교육목적, 교육 과정, 교원, 시설등에 있어서 큰 변화가 있는 것은 아니었다. 80년도말 조사에 의하면 전국 35 개 공업전문대학이 있으며, 이 가운데 기계과는 23 개교, 기계설계과는 15 개교가 각각 설치되어 있다. 교원은 대체로 일반대학교원들과 유사하며, 담당교과목과 직접 연관이 있는 현장실무경험을 갖춘 교원은 극소수에 지나지 않는다. 교육과정은 대체로 4 년제 공과대학에서 과하는 전공교 과목이 상당수 포함되어 있을뿐만 아니라 교과목내용이나 수준이 비슷하여 전문대학으로서 뚜 렷한 독립적 교육프로그램이 확립되지 못하고 있는 독점이다. 실험실습시설은 일반적으로 빈약한 편이며 교수법에 있어서도 교수중심의 강의중심이 지배적이며, 평가 또한 필기위주의 중간고사와 기말고사에 의존하고 있는 것이 일반적으로 관행으로 되어 있다.

A Study on the Analysis of College Students' Learning Process : Based on the surveys in K-College (전문대학생의 학습과정 분석에 관한 연구 : K-전문대학을 중심으로)

  • This study analyzed the differences depending on gender differences, the years for graduation, college majors, and grades by the level of students' learning process about the student engagement of college students. Subjects were 684 students who responded to a student engagement survey questionnaire among the students attending the regular curriculum at the K-college located in Geoje-si. For measurement, the college students' learning process analysis scale was modified and supplemented prior to use. Frequency analysis was adopted to search individual backgrounds of college students. One-way ANOVA and Post-hoc test were conducted in order to find differences according to gender differences, the years for graduation, college majors, and grades by the level of learning process. The study results are as follows. First, the college students' learning process on gender had significant differences in involvement in and out of instruction, teaching-learning outcomes, and college facility system and service. Second, the college students' learning process according to the years for graduation had significant differences in involvement in and out of instruction, class satisfaction, and college facility system and service. Third, the college students' learning process according to major differences had significant differences in involvement in and out of instruction, study interactions, academic achievement, and college facility system and service. Fourth, the college students' learning process according to grades had significant differences in total sub-components (involvement in and out of instruction, class satisfaction, study interactions, academic achievement, and college facility system and service). Lastly, the study discussions and implications are described.

A Study for Implementing of National GIS Training Program : Analysis of the Results for the First Year (국가 GIS 전문인력양성 활성화 연구 : 1차년도 결과를 중심으로 고찰)

  • A national program for GIS Training had been established by a feasibility study which was performed during the period of from July, 1995 through April, 1996 initiated by Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). Systems Engineering Research Institute (SERI), one of government-supported institutes in the fields of software development, have taken in charge of Korean GIS training program with emphases on short courses since July, 1996. To distinguish these national programs from those of major commercial GIS software vendor, GIS training programs by executing staffs within SERE have been established with the basis of its own educational paradigm; therefore, they was composed of several specific training curricular developed by executing staffs. In this paper, the practical aspects during execution and progress of these programs are described, and all courses named after decision maker course, GIS manager course, and user course in the first year of GIS training program are evaluated with questionnaire result riven to the trainees. As results, the satisfaction-rate after the decision maker, the GIS manager, and the user course is 84.8%, 81.2%, and 66.7% respectively These whole results are shown as more affirmative ones than expected, and each result, as a kind of feedback of this executing program, plays an important role to flourish Korean GIS training project in future.

  • 본조사는 1983년 10월부터 11월까지 전국 50개교 간호교육기관을 대상으로 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 전국 간호교육기관수는 대학과정 17개교, 전문대학과정 33개교로 총 50개교이다. 2. 1983년도 재학생 수는 14,699명으로 대학과정 3,133명, 전문대학과정 11,566명이다. 3. 1983년도 졸업생 수는 3,143명으로 대학과정 626명, 전문대학과정 2,517명이다. 4. 1983년도 졸업생의 취업율은 92.3$\%$, 미취업율은 7.7$\%$이고, 임상분야(89.9$\%$)에 가장 많이 취업하고 있으며, 지역사회분야(4.6$\%$), 교육분야(3.0$\%$), 기타(1.4$\%$), 진학(1.1$\%$) 순으로 취업하고 있다. 5. 전국 간호교육자 수는 779명이고, 1982년 3월부터 1983년 2월까지 출판된 저서는 15권, 논문 294편이다.

  • 본 조사는 1980년 10월부터 11월까지 전국 52개 간호교육기관의 교육실태를 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 전국 간호교육기관 수는 총 52개교로 대학과정 15개교, 전문대학과정 37개교이며, 설립별로 보면, 국립 9개교, 공립 16개교, 사립 27개교이다. 2. 전국 간호교육기관 51개교 1980년도 재학생은 대학과정 2,630명으로 25.5$\%$, 전문대학과정 7,664명으로 74.5$\%$로 총 10,294명이다. 3. 1980년 11월 현재 5개교에 남학생이 재학하고 있으며, 총 남학생 수는 38명이다. 4. 1980년도 졸업생은 대학과정 711명, 전문대학과정 2,610명으로 총 3,321명이며, 11월 현재 취업률은 85.5$\%$, 미취업율은 14.5$\%$이다. 5. 졸업생의 취업분야는 임상분야에 82.2$\%$, 보건분야에 8.8$\%$, 교육분야에 6.5$\%$, 기타 2.1$\%$를 나타내고 있다.

  • 본 조사는 1982년 7월부터 8월까지 전국 50개 간호교육기간을 대상으로 조사하여 다음과 같은 전과를 얻었다. 1. 전국간호교육가관 수는 대학과정 15개교, 전문대학과정 36개, 총 50개교이다. 2. 1982년도 재학생 수는 13,321명으로 대학 과정 2,968명, 전문대학과정 10,344명이고, 7개교에 재학중인 남학생은 47명이다. 3. 1982년도 졸업생 수는 3,046명으로 대학과정 666명, 전문대학과정 2,380명이다. 4. 1982년도 졸업생의 취업율은 90.1$\%$, 미취업율은 9.9$\%$이고, 취업분야는 임상분야에 87.4$\%$, 지역사회분야에 6.4$\%$, 교육분야에 3.1$\%$, 기타분야에 3.1$\%$이다. 5. 전국 간호교육자는 669명이고, 1981년 4월부터 1982년 8월까지 출판된 저서는 22권, 논문은 439권이다.
