Research on the development of an AI-based customized learning support model : Focusing on the university class environment (인공지능 기반 맞춤형 학습 지원 모형 개발 연구 : 대학교 수업 환경을 중심으로)

  • Research Purpose : Based on artificial intelligence, this study considers learners' characteristics, learning content, and individual learning, and analyzes the collected learning data to develop a model that supports customized learning for individual learners. Research content and method : In order to achieve the research purpose, the literature was analyzed to investigate the structure of customized learning support, learning data analysis, and learning activities, and based on the investigated data, the area and detailed components of the customized learning support model were derived. did. A draft model was constructed through literature analysis, and the first expert Delphi survey was conducted on the draft model with five experts. The model was revised by reflecting the results of the first Delphi, and the validity of the revised model was verified through the second expert Delphi. The model was elaborated through expert Delphi, and the final model was constructed through this. Conclusion and Recommendation : Through research, customized learning support area, class management system area, and learning analysis data area were formed, and detailed elements were derived for each area. The results of this study provide basic data that can be used as a reference for constructing a customized learning support system based on artificial intelligence, taking into account the university's class environment.

  • 교육은 끊임없는 대화로 이루어지므로 웹을 통한 온라인 학습 시스템에서도 사회적 상호작용이 활발히 일어날 수 있는 환경을 만드는것이 필수적이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 인터넷을 활용한 효과적인 문제 해결학습을 위해 플랫폼 독립적인 상호작용도구를 이용하는 웹 기반의 문제 해결학습시스템을 개발하였다. 문제 해결 모델은 학교 현장에서 학습효과를 증진시키기 위한 문제 해결 학습 모형으로 전문가 모둠 활동과 향상점수를 활용하여 학습에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 평가되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 문제해결을 위한 핵심적인 기법이라고 할 수 있는 문제분석과 결정분석 두 가지 기법을 중심으로 학습 프로그램 내용을 조직하고 지원하는 여러 가지 기능을 개발하였다.

Analysis on Pre-service and In-service Teachers' Participation in Cyber Education (예비교사와 현직교사의 사이버교육 참여 경험 분석)

  • For the wide spread of cyber education, it is important to understand the instructional characteristics of cyber education and its applications in the educational sites which help to cope with the practical needs and problems. This study was conducted to analyze the experience of cyber classes(working hours, tasks and evaluation, satisfaction level and instructional effectiveness, suggestions for cyber education) and use of instructional methodology (instructional activities, interaction frequencies, cooperative learning activities, instructional activities toward knowledge building). The data was collected from pre-service teachers(403) and in-service teachers(318) in June 2004. The results were that pre-service and in-service teachers all consider the satisfaction level and academic achievement level of cyber classes lower than that of FTF classes. Particularly the boring presentation of instructional materials and the inadequate instructional strategies for cyber classes were the biggest complains, and lack of interaction among peer groups and with instructors, lack of learning opportunity for cyber instructional strategies, limited group activities, lack of interaction with experts were followed. Limited types of evaluation also showed that cyber classes focus on results more than the process of students' academic achievement.

Comparative Study on the Perceptions of Global and Korean HRD Professionals in Workplace Learning and Performance(WLP) Competencies (한국과 글로벌 HRD 전문가의 WLP 역량 인식 비교연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to scrutinize and compare the perceptions of Global and Korean HRD Professionals in Workplace Learning and Performance(WLP) competencies in Korea. To answer these questions, the following research methods were employed. A questionnaire, which was modified and translates from the 2004 ASTD model for WLP, was distributed to 319 HRD consultants working in Seoul and Kyounggi-Do. It was sent out directly and by email. Among returned questionnaires, 205 were valid to be examined. The important findings of the study were as follows. First, the role of business partner ranked highest in the level of importance of WLP roles in Korean and the role of special professional ranked highest in global. For the competencies of WLP, effective communication ranked highest both Korean and global. Based on the findings of this study, the conclusion was as follows. First, the perceptions of WLP roles were different between Korean and global HRD professionals. The reason why it's differences is because the size of market are different. Second, the perceptions of WLP competencies were similar between Korean and global HRD professionals. HRD professionals should need to professionalize the communication skills continuously.

  • CS Unplugged education is emphasized as the component of the basic principles of Elementary SW education. This document produced by two other Timbell presents the contents in a variety of topics about computer science. One of the main components is the finite Automata, and this requires the development of educational materials for teaching our situation. So We'll present the finite Automata learning materials for elementary school classes. Learning model that we have presented is a process of self-directed and activity-based learning. For verification of this experiment was the validation of the expert group and was concluded that adequate through the analysis of the diagnostic tests.

  • 웹 커뮤니티 기반 온 오프라인 연계 자기주도 학습모형은 일반적으로 전통적인 면대면 교육방식이 갖고 있던 시간과 공간상의 제약 및 상호작용성의 한계를 극복하려던 e-Learning의 노력에서 한 걸음 더 나아가, e-Learning 교육 방식에 전통적인 면대면 교육방식이 갖고 있는 교육적 장점을 결합, 적절히 활용함으로써 학습효과를 극대화하기 위한 학습전략-소위 Blended Learning이다. 이에 이 논문에서는 교실이라는 제한된 범위를 넘어 다른 지역, 다른 학습자끼리 공동 관심사항에 대해 각기 자료를 검색하고, 취합하여 결과물을 공유하는 시스템을 적용하였다. 이 연구는 많은 사람들과의 연계를 통해 지기주도적 상호작용을 활성화한다는 점 이외에도 전문가 집단의 도움을 쉽게 받을 수 있으며 서로 다른 환경과 문화에 대해 통찰할 수 있는 기회를 제공해 준다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

  • Korea has started new value creation which is the post catch-up innovation system from the catch-up innovation. Post catch-up innovation system is becoming the main R&D issue for Korea and is needed for the new concept of R&D management and planning frame. This study posed questionnaires : how to promote the knowledge creation in technology planning and what the role of organizational learning in the technology planning is. This paper suggests the relationship of success factors of knowledge creation in technology planning which is organized and operated by experts with different background. Based on the prior research on organizational learning, communications and collaborative interactions, four hypotheses that factors of knowledge creation in technology planning have positive relationship with organizational learning are extracted. This study adopts Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) to analyze the relationship between organizational learning and successful technology planning. The approach based on organizational learning and interaction will be useful for constructing the planning framework in the era of post catch-up innovation. This paper, therefore, suggests the possibility of new theoretical development and new research agenda.

  • Due to recent various online problems, the necessity of information security education has increased. The information security education was strengthened thanks to the informatics curriculum of middle school in 2007, but the educational fields lacked detailed educational materials that could be utilized. Thus to give appropriate information security education for elementary and middle school students, this research developed an unplugged activity for them. The activity was designed by applying Lickona's integrated ethical model and design patterns of unplugged activities, and developed through expert's review and pilot tests targeted to elementary school students. Developed activity was applied to 21 middle school students and the usability was evaluated. As results, first, the activity showed similar expectations from the previous activities. Second, persistence was also similar or higher compared to the previous activities, so the activity developed from this research secured the minimum usability. The unplugged activity developed from this research would give implications in producing various educational contents for information security education.

Exploration of the application possibility of curriculum with mathematical modeling through coding activities

  • In this paper, we propose a direction of teaching method for future generations. In order to suggest such the direction, teaching and learning materials that integrate coding activities and mathematical modeling were developed through top-down and bottom-up processes. Coding and engineering experts and mathematics education experts developed teaching and learning materials through councils (top-down courses) and applied them to 24 high school first graders based on student responses (bottom-up courses). Additionally, the developed curriculum helped students increase interest and motivation and realize conceptual understanding, problem posing, and problem solving in mathematics. On the basis of these results, it provided an idea about how to develop curriculum combining mathematical modeling with coding activities, needed for the fourth industrial revolution.
