Micro Computer를 이용한 자동차용 belt 설계

  • 흔히 자동차용 belt를 단순한 소모품으로 생각하여 대수롭지 않게 여기는 경향이 있으나 belt slip에 의한 동력의 손실은 매우 큰 것이며 특히 자동차용 belt에 있어서 그 중요성은 상당한 것이다. 왜냐하면 crankshaft에서의 중력이 belt를 통해서 water pump나 air compressor등에 전달되며 이때 동력전달이 제대로 안되는 경우에는 engine은 냉각수와 냉각팬에 의해 냉각이 되지 않아서 금방 고은소착 되기 때문이며, 또한 belt를 너무 조이는 경우에는 water pump bearing의 파손 등을 초래하기 때문에 belt의 정확한 길이 계산이 매우 중요하다. 그러나 이러한 중요성에도 불구하고 belt의 설계계산을 행하는 데는 많은 시간이 걸리며, 간혹 잘못 계산을 하는 경우에는 큰 문제가 발생할 수도 있기 때문에 belt계산의 기본이론식들을 전부 computer program 화하여 시간의 절약과 계산의 오류를 피하고자 한다. Program을 만들기 위해서 사용한 computer는 micro-computer로서 PET (Personal Electric Transactor)2001이며 사용한 언어는 BASIC이다.

  • The application of object-oriented modeling to develop a powertrain performance simulation program, called O-DYN, is introduced. Powertrain components, such as the engine, transmission, shaft, clutch are modeled as classes which have data and method by using object-oriented modeling methodology. O-DYN, a performance simulation program, based on the object-oriented modeling is made in C++. One powertrain simulation using O-DYN is proposed, and it is expected that the simulation program or individual class constructed in this paper would be useful for automotive engineers to predict the performance of powertrains and to develop a simulation program.

  • Dynamic characteristics of a wrist power transmission examine closely with mass property, to present a model which is able to induce the vibration is ultimately the purpose. A robot wrist power transmission for analysis model gets the mass property through the approach to be the experimental. A bearing equivalent stiffness which supports the axis and a gear contact equivalent stiffness are determined by the simplicity analysis model compared the result of the experiment. We calculate the vibration tendency of the robot wrist power transmission by an analysis tool which is called the RecurDyn. We compared it with a signal analysis experiment's which a robot operation happens which is based on the ambient noise.

Powertrain components, such as the engine, transmission, shaft, clutch are modeled as classes which have data and method by using object-oriented modeling methodology.   • The development of a Web-based powertrain performance simulation system is introduced. The development approach of system architecture and each module is introduced along with the H/W and S/W used. The interface with all users is developed via a JAVA applet. The powertrain modeling and other job history data of a user is managed systematically on the server by database to increase the reusability of the data. A self-developed program using object-oriented programming is used as a solver for the performance simulation. The graph tool for the analysis of simulation results has the collaboration support developed based on JAVA so that synchronous users can view the same result. As a result, the powertrain simulation is possible only with Web-browser for the user and the collaboration support among the relevant engineers is possible.

  • The working tactor of this study, an agriculture machine, is consisted of 4 wheel driving system with gear trains and 4-type wheel steering system. Since technological regions for 4 wheel driving system and 4-type wheel steering system are some large, we divide on two studies on 4 wheel driving system and 4-type wheel steering system This study develops transmission and axle that are very important units for strong working operation because the power of tractor is largely affected by transmission and axle. Even if the development of the power train is some common technology, it is very complicated work and needs many experience know-hows. So, for new given specifications fitted to the working tractor, a kind of new agriculture machine, this study haws out processes that are development of assembly drawing and strength analysis through classical method and CAE software for all internal parts and housing cases.

전달강성계수법과 부분구조합성법을 이용한 구조물의 진동해석 (Vibration Analysis of Structures Using the Transfer Stiffness Coefficient Method and the Substructure Synthesis Method)

  • The substructure synthesis method(SSM) is developed for overcoming disadvantages of the Finite Element Method(FEM). The concept of the SSM is as follows. After dividing a whole structure into several substructures, every substructures are analyzed by the FEM or experiment. The whole structure is analyzed by using connecting condition and the results of substructures. The concept of the transfer stiffness coefficient method(TSCM) is based on the transfer of the nodal stiffness coefficients which are related to force vectors and displacement vectors at each node of analytical mode1. The superiority of the TSCM to the FEM in the computation accuracy, cost and convenience was confirmed by the numerical computation results. In this paper, the author suggests an efficient vibration analysis method of structures by using the TSCM and the SSM. The trust and the validity of the present method is demonstrated through the numerical results for computation models.

  • Torque fluctuation of the engine and angular velocity variation of propeller shaft is the main excitation source for torsional vibration in the vehicle driveline. Experimental model for engine system is constructed with 4 cylinder 4 cycle diesel engine including Motor-Propeller Shaft-Axle-Wheel system. The angular velocity is measured by magnetic pickup and FV converter at the engine flywheel and propeller shaft. This paper presents the theoretical mechanism of these excitation sources and it is identified by the experimental methods.

  • Main vibration problems of a transaxle type forklift truck are caused by the resonance of engine excitation force and natural mode shade of major components such as engine-mount system, mast, and main frame. But, it is well known that the reduction of vibration is very difficult because of the limitation of structural modifications. In this paper, the vibration characteristics of engine-mast system including engine mount were firstly identified by the experimental and simplified numerical methods. And also, the free and forced vibration characteristics of a whole forklift truck were surveyed with modal test and ODS(operation deflection shape) measurement. Based on these results, the reliable finite element model was developed. Finally, various countermeasures were considered and applied to a real forklift truck and then its effects were confirmed.
