Background: Dopamine receptor agonists (DRAs) have been associated with impulse control disorders (ICDs) in Parkinson's disease (PD) in preliminary studies. Whether the association holds true when DRAs are used to treat non-PD, such as restless legs syndrome, prolactinoma, and several mood disorders is uncertain. Objective: The present study aimed to understand the research gaps related to the risk of ICDs associated with pramipexole or ropinirole (PRX/ROP) use as a treatment for specific underlying diseases, excluding Parkinson's disorders. Methods: We conducted a scoping review, systematically searching databases to identify literature on the types, prevalence, and factors associated with ICD in non-PD patients receiving PRX/ROP. All relevant information that helped understand the epidemiology of ICDs among non-PD patients taking PRX/ROP were extracted and analyzed. We also evaluated the potential associations between PRX/ROP and ICDs, utilizing the Naranjo scale or statistical analysis, depending on the type of literature. Results: We included 24 articles (19 case reports or case series and 5 population-based studies) in this scoping review. Evaluating the 19 case reports or case series using Naranjo scores led to the discovery of a possible link between PRX/ROP exposure and ICDs. However, important information to assess causality is frequently missing. Moreover, the population-based studies lack diversity in the study populations and enough study samples to draw conclusive results. Conclusion: Our scoping review suggests that the currently available literature requires more details in future case reports and for well-powered studies in various disease conditions where PRX/ROP is frequently used.

Purpose: This study was done to evaluate the differences between an experimental group and a control group of nursing students for their knowledge of CPR and their practical ability after undergoing CPR training. Method: This experiment was done with nursing students, who are divided into the experimental group (20 students) and the control group (23 students) in Chunbuk C city. The data were analyzed using the SPSS PC+ 12.0 program for the Chi-square tests, t-tests and Wilcoxon rank sum tests. Results: The 1st hypothesis, that the CPR knowledge scores for the experimental group will be higher than the scores for the control group (t=-3.934, p=<.001), was supported. On the other hand, the control group showed a conspicuous and meaningful improvement (t=-3.932, p=<.001). The 2st hypothesis, that the practical ability scores for the experimental group will be higher than the scores for the control group (t=-3.926, p=<.001), was supported. Conclusion: The CPR training in combination with theory and clinical placement is seen as a means to effectively develop the knowledge and practical ability of CPR.

Most of face detection technique uses information from the face of the movement. The traditional face detection method is to use difference picture method ate used to detect movement. However, most do not consider this mathematical approach using real-time or real-time implementation of the algorithm is complicated, not easy. This paper, the first to detect real-time facial image is converted YCbCr and RGB video input. Next, you convert the difference between video images of two adjacent to obtain and then to conduct Glassfire Labeling. Labeling value compared to the threshold behavior Area recognizes and converts video extracts. Actions to convert video to conduct face detection, and detection of facial characteristics required for the extraction and use of AdaBoost algorithm.

Objectives: This study aimed to examine the effects of compassion competence, professional self-concept and nursing practice environment on caring behaviors of clinical nurses. Methods: A convenience sample of 200 nurses was drawn from a tertiary hospital in G city. Structured self-report questionnaires were used to collect data, which were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: A significant difference in caring behaviors of nurses was found for age, educational level, and unit. There were statistically significant positive correlations between study variables. Sensitivity and communication of compassion competence, communication of professional self-concept, and nursing foundations for quality of care in nursing practice environment were significant predictors of caring behaviors, explaining 51.3% of total variance. Conclusions: To improve clinical nurses' caring behaviors, strategies must be developed and implemented for enhancing their compassion competence, professional self-concept, and nursing practice environment.

Purpose: This study aims to determine the factors that affect the breastfeeding of late preterm infants (gestation age 34⁺⁰~36⁺⁶) in South Korea. Method: A cross-sectional and questionnaire-based survey was conducted on 178 mothers of 209 late preterm infants discharged from a university hospital. We collected data on participants' demographics, breastfeeding-related characteristics and current status of breastfeeding and analyzed them using SPSS. Results: Breastfeeding duration varied significantly according to the number of babies born (t=3.691, p<.001), birth order (F=6.416, p=.002), type of feeding planned (F=8.691, p<.001), planned breastfeeding period(F=24.779, p<.001), previous baby's breastfeeding type(F= 8.510, p<.001), previous baby's breastfeeding duration(F=10.589, p<.001). The mothers with incomes of 3-5 million won a month were less likely to continue breastfeeding than those with incomes over 5 million won (CI: 0.049-0.086: p=0.035). Conclusion: Our results are meaningful in that we revealed that mother's monthly income influenced breastfeeding continuation, first-time mothers and mothers of multiples were at risk of breastfeeding difficulties. Interventions for helping late preterm infants' mothers establish breastfeeding and maintain an adequate milk supply are vital.

LC/MS approach targeting secondary metabolites of bacterial strain resulted in the discovery of boholamide A (1), from the culture of marine actinomycete strain which was isolated from a tidal mudflat in Muan, Republic of Korea. Boholamide A (1), a cyclodepsipeptide with HDMN, APD, glycine, and valine was structurally determined by using 1D/2D NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and UV spectroscopy. Boholamide A (1) showed the inhibitory activity against Bacillus subtilis, with IC₅₀ value of 0.08 mM.

This study conducted a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of library services using YouTube through content analysis of YouTube content and emotional response analysis of user comments. This study analyzed 2,169 YouTube contents and 6,487 comments of users from 61 university libraries. The results showed that the number of 'data' content was the largest among 4 categories, followed by 'communication' and 'education' content, and 'promotion' content. Among the sub-classifications, the number of 'information services' contents was the largest. In the analysis of users' emotional responses to YouTube content, the major categories of users' emotional responses were 'data' content and 'communication' content. Most of the user's emotional responses were positive in all categories of content, and the most frequent user emotional expression was 'good'. In addition, the vocabulary used in the user's emotional response was more about the person appearing in the video than the expression of the content of YouTube contents.
