알루미늄의 전기 및 열전도도에 미치는 Boron의 영향 (Effect of Boron on Electrical and Thermal Conductivities of Aluminum)

  • Aluminum has been used as an alternative material for copper, due to its good electrical and thermal conductivities. However, small quantities of transition elements such as Ti and V affect the conductivities of aluminum. Therefore, in this study, the influence of B addition to reduce the effects of Ti and V on the conductivities of aluminum was investigated. Both the electrical and thermal conductivities of aluminum were improved with addition of B up to 0.05 wt%, while the conductivities were gradually reduced with an excess amount of B. SEM-EDS and XRD results exhibited that B reacted with Ti and V element to form diborides, such as $TiB_2$ and $VB_2$ phase, and those diborides tended to settle down to the bottom of the crucible because their densities were higher than that of aluminum melt. As a result, B reduced the deleterious effects of Ti and V, and the electrical and thermal conductivities of aluminum were improved.

Ag-CdO계 전기접점재료의 미세조직에 미치는 열처리 조건과 산화 공정의 영향 (The Effect of The Heat Treatment Condition and the Oxidation Process on the Microstructure of Ag-CdO Contact Materials)

  • Contact material is widely used in the field of electrical parts. Ag-CdO material has a good wear resistance and stable contact resistance. In order to establish optimizing heat treatment condition, rolling temperature and oxidation process, we studied the microstructure of Ag-CdO material with various conditions. The experimental procedure were melting using high frequency induction, heat treatment, rolling and internal oxidation. And we experimented on difference process, Post-oxidaion. In this study, we obtained the optimizing heat treatment condition was $700^{\circ}C$ for 15 min. and the optimizing rolling temperature was $730^{\circ}C$. In investigation of the microstructure of oxidized material, coarse oxide and depleted oxidation layer existed. The hardness was average Hv 70. When we used Post-oxidation, oxides were finer than prior process and depleted oxidation layer did not exist. The hardness of Post-oxidation material was average Hv 80. And the optimizing rolling temperature was $800^{\circ}C$.

산화 방식이 Ag-CdO계 전기접점재료의 수명 특성에 미치는 영향 (A Effect of the Oxidation Process on the Lifetime Properties of Ag-CdO Contact Materials)

  • Contact material is widely used in the field of electrical parts. Ag-CdO has a good wear resistance and stable contact resistance. We studied a lifetime of Ag-CdO material because of getting better properties of Ag-CdO using Post-oxidation. The experimental procedure were melting using high frequency induction, heat treatment, rolling and internal oxidation. And we experimented on difference process, Post-oxidaion. Then we tested a lifetime and analysed. We obtained the optimizing oxidation temperature was $750^{\circ}C$. Using Pre-oxidation, coarse oxide and depleted oxidation layer existed but finer oxides were existed and depleted oxidation layer was not using Post-oxidation. In Post-oxidation, The density was 10 $g/cm^{3}$, the hardness was Hv 80 and the adhesive strength was 9000N. The specimen of Post-oxidation had better lifetime properties than that of Pre-oxidation. We predicted that the lifetime of Post-oxidation specimen is more longer twice than that of Pre-oxidation one.

  • 다목적실용위성 2호기의 추진계는 (주)한화에서 많은 부분 국산화에 성공하였다. 그중에서 추력기 열차폐막도 현재 설계, 해석, 가공까지 항우연과 함께 국산화에 성공하였다. 열차폐막의 국산화를 위해 기존의 용접 및 전기주조법을 적용하였는데 이때 전기주조법을 통해 일체형으로 제작할 경우 열차폐막의 내경이 용접으로 제작된 형상보다 작게 된다. 그래서 위성의 발사환경에서 열차폐막 끝단과 추력기 노즐 사이의 간섭에 대한 가능성을 검증하기 위해 항우연에서 구조해석을 수행하였으며 이를 바탕으로 제작을 수행하였다. 본 논문에서는 다목적실용위성 2호에 장착될 추력기 열차폐막의 설계, 해석, 가공의 전 과정을 설명하고자 한다.

전기화학적 방법에 의한 주조 스테인리스강 CF8M $\sigma$상 열화평가 (Evaluation of the $\sigma$-Phase Degradation for Cast Stainless Steel CF8M by the Electrochemical Method)

  • The present investigation is concerned with the degradation characteristics of cast stainless steel(CF8M), exposed to the $\sigma$-phase degradation at $700^{\circ}C$. In the present paper, the degradation of CF8 M at $700^{\circ}C$ is evaluated by a non-destructive test, DL-EPR(double loop electrochemical potentiokinetic reactivation). The surface of specimens is observed by using scanning electron microscopy after DL-EPR test. Also. chromium contents of matrix, grain boundary and ferrite phase are analyzed by electron probe X-ray micro analyzer. Through the experiments, the following results are obtained 1) The degree of sensitization(DOS) of CF8M aged up to 15hr at $700^{\circ}C$ is increased with acing time while that is decreased with aging time from 15hr to 150hr. 2) The impact energy decreases with increase of $\sigma$-phase while DOS increases with $\sigma$-phase until aging time reaches to 15hr. After the aging time. 15hr, the $\sigma$-phase and the rate of impact energy with respect to aging time decreases. Therefore the degradation behavior of the CF8M can be evaluated by comparing SEM micrographs and the value of DOS.

마이크로 칩(ATMEGA128)을 이용한 PCR의 온도제어 (Using the micro-chip (ATMEGA128) for controling of temperature)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 PCR 장비가 가지고 있는 낮은 경제성, 장비의 대형화, 긴 분석 시간 등과 같은 단점을 해결하기 위하여 ATMEGA128 마이크로 칩을 사용 continuous-flow PCR 칩의 온도를 제어 하였다. Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)와 산화 인듐-주석(Indium tin-oxide, ITO) 유리 기판을 사용하여 continuous-flow PCR 칩을 제작하였고 PDMS를 주조 하여 마이크로 채널을 형성하였다. 또한 유리 기판위에 ITO 전극을 패터닝하여 마이크로 히터를 제작하였다. 이 결과 continuous-flow PCR 칩에서 빠르고 정확한 온도 제어를 통한 DNA 중합 효소 연쇄반응 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • 부양용해 기술은 티타늄등 용해 및 주조에 어려움이 있는 기능성 금속의 용해 시 소재의 오염이나 고가의 도가니 없이 용해할 수 있는 기술로써 기계 부품 경량화 및 고강도를 위한 기술 및 신수요 창출을 위한 기반을 제공할 수 있다. 본 논문은 실기용 부양용해 cold crucible의 설계 및 제작에 앞서 실기 제작할 cold crucible에 대한 기초 자료를 바탕으로 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 위한 부양체를 포함한 3차원 전자기장 해석 model을 구축하여, 실제 cold crucible 설계 제작 시 다양한 형태로 활용될 수 있는 기본자료를 확보하는데 그 목적이 있다.

  • As-casted high nitrogen alloys (Fe-25%Mn-12%Cr-1%Ni) have been investigated to study core material. Nitrogen concentration in molten alloys was increased with increasing the square root of nitrogen gas pressure in melting chamber. This result can be explained by Sievert's law. Nitrogen that dissolved as a interstital solid solution element in austenite stainless steel increased lattice parameter and hardness. Electric resistivity($\rho$) was increased with increasing nitrogen concentration and was about $80{\mu}{\Omega}cm$ at room temperature. Coefficient of linear thermal expansion of the nitrogen steel was about $22{\times}10^{-6}/^{\circ}C$.

  • The importance of DSM Program is increasing since it can solve the problems of electric power resource space shortage, air & water pollution and create new industry and induce economic development through energy import reduction. This study describes the government's policy and direction on DSM at the national level after introducing competition in electricity market. Moreover, it tries to make contribution to government's decision-making by analyzing existing DSM programs' implementation and providing new evaluation system for DSM programs.

  • There are a lot of PDP TV for a plasma discharge pulse voltage generated by the use of electromagnetic waves. EMI mesh film is near Infrared ray caused by malfunction of the remote control intended to prevent this phenomenon. In this study, the formation of fine pattern by making the mold is imprinted on the film sheet. EMI mesh film has been granted by filling in the conductive material region imprinted with electroforming in the manufacture of resistance. The fine patterns fabricated with electroforming facility thickness of homogenization process technology were established to optimize the working conditions.
