  • A valve's high response for controlling thruster is essential for rapid turning during initial short moment after launching. The actuator for controlling the valve is simultaneously used in controlling canard of a guided missile. This paper explain development process for the electromechanical actuator interlocked with canard by arranging in following order, design, analysis, manufacture, test and evaluation.

  • Instead of hydraulic actuation systems, an electromechanical actuation system is more efficient in terms of weight, cost, and test evaluation in the thrust vector control of the 7-ton gimbal engine used in the Korea Space Launch Vehicle-II(KSLV-II) $3^{rd}$ stage. The electromechanical actuator is a kind of servo actuator with position feedback and uses a BLDC motor that can operate at high vacuum. In the case of the gimballed rocket engine, a synthetic resonance phenomenon may occur due to a combination of a vibration mode of the actuator itself, a bending mode of the launcher structure, and an inertial load of the gimbals engine. When the synthetic resonance occurs, the control of the rocket attitude becomes unstable. Therefore, the requirements for the stiffness have been applied in consideration of the gimbal engine characteristics, the support structure, and the actuating system. For the 7-ton gimbal engine of the KSLV-II $3^{rd}$ stage, the stiffness requirement of the actuation system is $3.94{\times}10^7N/m$, and the direct drive type electromechanical actuator is designed to satisfy this requirement. In this paper, an equivalent stiffness analysis model of a direct drive electromechanical actuator designed based on the stiffness requirements is proposed and verified by experimental results.

  • In this paper, a study on the future-oriented actuator introduces the future technology and future direction in aerospace and several industry fields. In particular, the mechanical linkage or hydraulic and pneumatic actuators which have the higher output-to-weight ratio have been used a lot in the past as the aircraft's flight control device. Most recently, Fly-By-Wire system has been used in aircraft and the flight control system has been changed in more electric and all electric systems. Electrohydraulic actuators and electric actuators have been developed continually, because they have better efficiency, safety and lower cost for the flight control system of aircraft. Also, to improve the weight condition, accuracy and response of actuator, new field actuators using new materials have been developed. In this paper we clearly proposed the actuator design and detailed technology development trend for next generation actuation system in aerospace and new field.

  • Electro-mechanical actuator system for aircraft has advantages in compactness and its lightweight, compared to the hydraulic actuator system. Hinge line actuator has low air resistance and is suitable for special purpose such as stealth. This paper describes design contents of 10,000 lbf-in class dual redundant hinge line electro-mechanical actuator system for performance test. The control structure was designed to minimize impact of torque fighting. A mathematical model is proposed to analyze and validate the performances of actuator by comparison with experiment results.

  • 본 논문에서는 전자식 형광등의 직류구동과 AM 변조시 빛의 주파수 특성에 관하여 다루고 있다. 전자식 형광등을 구동하는 안정기 회로는 상용전원을 직류로 정류시켜 고주파로 변환하여 형광등을 구동시킨다. 형광동의 구동에 사용되는 안정기 회로의 내부 평활 컨덴서의 유.무와 각각 공급되는 전원을 상용전원인 경우, 상용전원을 정류한 경우, 상용전원을 정류하고 정현파를 AM 변조한 경우에 대해서 측정하였으며, 변조하여 입력되어진 정현파가 빛을 통해서 송신되는 것을 확인할 수가 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 시간지연 관측기를 위치제어 시스템 적용하여 설계한 내용을 기술하였다. 시간지연제어기의 상태추정 기법을 이용한 시간지연 관측기는 플랜트 모델이 필요하지 않아 설계가 용이하고, 파라미터 변동 및 외란에 강건하다. 또한 계산이 간단하여 디지털 제어 시스템에 충분히 적용이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 시간지연제어기가 위치제어기로 적용된 전기식 구동시스템에서 속도센서를 사용하지 않고 시간지연 관측기를 적용하여 제어기를 설계하였다. 시간지연 관측기를 적용한 구동시스템에 대해 비선형 시뮬레이션을 수행하였으며. 속도센서를 사용한 경우와 상태관측기를 적용한 경우 및 PID 제어기를 적용한 경우에 대해 비교하였다.

  • 본 논문은 고압 나트륨 램프용 전자식 안정기의 회로 특성을 보다 효율적이고 경제적으로 비교 평가하기 위해, Pspice를 이용하여 전자식 안정기 구동회로를 시뮬레이션하고 이를 실제 안정기 출력과 비교한 논문이다. 본 논문에서 사용한 방식은 공진형 인버터를 이용한 Half-Bridge Inverter 구조의 자려식 구동방식으로서 실제 안정기의 동작 특성과 같은 시뮬레이션 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • Recently, the technology of aircraft drivers has been transitioning from the existing hydraulically-focused mechanical system to an all-electric one due to the high precision and ease of maintenance of electric drivers. Consequently, the failure of an aircraft's electric motor can have fatal consequences. To ensure aircraft safety, efficient and timely fault diagnosis methods are required prompting the active pursuit of research into fault diagnosis technology. This paper introduces and analyses the failure types and failure diagnosis technology trends of permanent magnet synchronous motors among electric motors.

  • In this paper, the development results of electromechanical TVC actuation system is described in the aspect of design, analysis, manufacturing and test. The kinds of prime power for TVC actuation system is classified by the variety of propulsion system of launch vehicle. The electric power by battery is the sole candidate for prime power of TVC actuation system at the view point of feasible domestic infra technologies for the present. The characteristic analysis study is performed between electromechanical and electrohydraulic actuation system with respect to power efficiency, performance and weight efficiency. The electromechanical actuation system has superiority of power and weight efficiency according to less opportunity of power conversion process.

  • 원자력발전소의 노내 중성자 분포 측정 설비는 고장이 발생하여 기능을 상실하면 발전소를 정지하여야 하는 매우 중요한 설비이다. 국내 가압 경수로형 원전에 사용되고 있는 노내 중성자 분포 측정 방식은 이동식과 고정식으로 구분되며, 고리 1, 2, 3, 4호기, 영광 1, 2호기 및 울진 1, 2호기처럼 미국 웨스팅하우스사와 프랑스 프라마톰사가 공급한 원전은 이동식 측정 방식을 채택하고 있고, 그밖에 미국 CE사가 공급한 원전 및 한국 표준형 원전은 고정식 측정 방식을 채택하고 있다. 이동식의 경우 측정 설비의 검출기 구동시스템은 원자로 내부에 설치되어 있는 심블에 검출기를 삽입 또는 인출하면서 검출기가 중성자 분포 정보를 취득한 수 있도록 기계적인 구동 메커니즘을 제공한다. 기존 설비는 협소한 공간에 통로선택기를 복층으로 배치하여 검출기가 지나가는 통로의 구배가 심한 관계로 마찰이 커져 구동설비에 잦은 고장이 발생하였고, 구조적으로도 신뢰성이 떨어지는 문제점을 갖고 있었다. 본 논문에서는 신뢰성이 높고 통로에서의 마찰이 적은 새로운 개념의 이중색인 통로선택기와 구동장치의 설계와 제작 및 적용 결과 등을 다룬다.
