Effects of Critical Thinking Disposition and Interpersonal Relationship on Person Centered Care Competency in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향, 대인관계능력이 인간중심간호 역량에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was to identify the factors influencing the person centered care competency in nursing students. Data were conducted on 294 nursing students from September 1st to 25th 2019. The mean score of critical thinking disposition was 3.72, the interpersonal relationship was 3.90 and person centered care competency was 4.01. Nursing students with high degree of major satisfaction had higher level of critical thinking disposition, the interpersonal relationship and person centered care competency than students with low degree. Significant factors influencing person centered care competency were critical thinking disposition, the interpersonal relationship and grade which explained 33%. The programs that develop critical thinking disposition and interpersonal relationship are necessary for college nursing students in order to promote person centered care competency.

Relationship of Clinical Thinking Disposition and Satisfaction of Clinical Practice in Radiology Students (방사선학과 대학생의 비판적 사고성향과 임상실습 만족도와의 관련성)

  • This study was conducted to identify the relationship between critical thinking disposition and satisfaction of clinical practice in radiology students. The participants were 187 radiology students who were experienced clinical practice. Data was collected from December 1 to 15, 2017 using self-report questionnaires and analyzed through descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficient with SPSS 16.0. Critical thinking disposition and satisfaction of clinical practice averaged 3.68 and 3.59. Significant positive correlation between Critical thinking disposition and satisfaction of clinical practice were found(r=.522, p<.01). Therefore it is necessary to strengthen critical thinking disposition and satisfaction of clinical practice through effective radiology educational program.

Influence Factors on Academic Stress of Nursing Students: Focused on Dimensions of Empathy, Ego-resilience, Stress-coping Strategies (간호학생의 학업스트레스 영향요인: 공감의 하위영역, 자아탄력성, 스트레스 대처방식을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate influencing factors of nursing students' academic stress focusing on dimensions of empathy, ego-resilience, and stress coping strategies. Academic stress, dimensions of empathy, ego-resilience, and stress coping strategies among subjects were collected using structured questionnaires from 305 nursing students between November 1, 2015 and November 30, 2015. The results of this study showed that the factors affecting nursing students' academic stress were grade, personality orientation, major satisfaction, ego-resilience and emotion focused coping style, and the total explanatory power was 54.1%. To improve nursing students' academic stress, it is necessary to pay attention to the nursing students who are in their upper grades, extroverted, and with low major satisfaction. In developing a program to reduce academic stress, it is thought that it is necessary to include measures to raise the level of ego-resilience and to improve the level of emotion focused coping style among stress-coping strategies, and to conduct subsequent research to identify pathways in which the dimensions of empathy, ego-resilience and stress-coping strategies affect academic stress.

Association between Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice Regarding Blood Donation in University Students (대학생의 헌혈에 대한 지식, 인식수준에 따른 헌혈행태)

  • The present study aims to investigate the association between knowledge, attitude, and practice of blood donating in an effort to increase the participation rate of blood donation among university students. Data was obtained among 272 in theirs 20s health sciences students in two university of South Korea through self-reported questionnaires including Knowledge, attitude, and behavioral practice regarding blood donation during 8st December 2014 to 12st December 2014. Pearson correlation test, student's t-test or descriptive statistics were performed for the data analysis. The results were as follows: 1) There was positive significant relationship between Attitude and behavioral practice towards blood donation(P <.05). 2) There was significant difference in the knowledge(P<.01) and attitude(P<.05) regarding blood donation according to public health vs non-public health. 3) The participants with previous blood donation experiences showed a higher participation rate than those without such an experience(P<.01). It is important not only to improve the university student's attitude towards blood donation through media advertising but also to reinforce the compensation offered to donors.

Ego-resilience and Emotional Intelligence, Stress Coping Strategies & Nursing Student's Adjustment to College (간호대학생의 자아탄력성, 감성지능, 스트레스 대처방식과 대학 생활 적응)

  • This study was done to identify the influence of ego-resilience, emotional intelligence and stress coping strategies on college adjustment in nursing students. The subjects consisted of 158 freshmen & sophomores attending three nursing colleges. The data were collected from October 27 to November 7, 2014, using self-report questionnaires. The data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation and multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. A positive correlation was found for college adjustment with ego-resilience, emotional intelligence, stress coping strategies. In addition emotional intelligence, ego-resilience, school record, satisfaction with nursing major, personal relations, gender accounted for 53.9% of variance in college adjustment. The strongest predictor of college adjustment was emotional intelligence. The findings suggest that development of emotional intelligence and ego-resilience in nursing students is important to college adjustment. It is necessary to develop systematic management of the program to integrate the educational curriculum and extra-curricular activities.

Convergence analysis of nursing choice factors in senior high school students (고등학교 3학년 학생의 융복합적 간호대학 진로선택 요인 분석)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the factors of career choice in high school seniors and to utilize the data to guide their career selection. From July 2, 2016 to August 2, 2016, a total of 145 high school seniors from six different high schools in Daejeon and Chungcheong area participated the study. Pearson's correlation coefficients, t-test, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis, using SPSS 24.0 version program. It was shown that the participants who had a positive relationship with their school nurse, or those who had experience in nursing-related career activities inside or outside the school, or participants who had career-related classes, expert counseling, and educational experience in school were interested in applying to nursing school. The findings from this study provided implications for promoting career education programs attracting talent from high school seniors who are interested in applying nursing school.

Influence of learning motivation, communication skill, academic self-efficacy on self-directed learning ability in nursing students (간호학생의 학습동기, 의사소통능력, 학업적 자기효능감이 자기주도학습능력에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to investigate learning motivation, communication skill, academic self-efficacy which influence self-directed learning ability in nursing students. A total of 194 second year students were recruited from nursing department in Gwangju. Structured questionnaire was self-administrated from November 2 to 30, 2015. In self-directed learning ability, there were significant differences in gender, personality disposition, applied motivation, satisfaction on major, satisfaction of campus life, and school grade. In multiple regression analysis, learning motivation, communication skill, academic self-efficacy, satisfaction on major and school grade were significant factors of self-directed learning ability explaining 53.1% of the variables. In conclusion, to enhance self-directed learning ability for nursing students, it is necessary to develop program and curriculum for increasing learning motivation, communication skill, and academic self-efficacy.

보건계열 대학생의 창업가 특성이 창업교육과 창업지원제도에 따라 창업의지에 미치는 영향

  • 성공적인 창업을 위해서는 창업자 개인의 기본적인 역량뿐만 아니라 체계적인 창업교육과 학습을 통해 창업자가 되기 위한 필요역량을 습득해야 한다(최서윤, 2017). 대학생의 창업을 활성화하기 위해서는 다양한 분야를 전공하고 있는 대학생의 학문적 특성을 고려하고 그들의 전공 및 학문적 특성을 고려하여 창업교육 및 창업지원을 통해 대학생의 창업의지를 높이는 것이 필요하다(이우진 김진수 김용태, 2013). 창업의지는 창업에 대한 행위적 태도를 의미하며, 창업이라는 긴 과정의 첫 단계이고, 개인의 태도와 경험을 창업이라는 행동으로 매개하는 역할을 한다(윤방섭, 2004). 대학이 학생들에게 창업교육 및 창업공간, 멘토링, 컨설팅, 사업화를 위한 창업지원을 하고, 대학생들은 이러한 창업교육 및 창업지원을 긍정적으로 받아들일수록 창업의지가 높아져 취업이 아닌 창업을 선택할 가능성이 높아질 것이다. 조사대상은 전국의 보건계열 대학에 재학 중인 대학생이다. 자료수집 방법은 보건계열 재학 중인 대학생을 대상으로 이메일 설문지가 발송되었고, 자기보고식 작성방법에 따라 설문조사 되었다. 총735개의 설문지가 발송되었고 그 중 불성실하게 응답한 설문을 제외한 총 675개의 설문을 최종 설문으로 사용하였다. 자료수집기간은 2017년 10월 9일부터 2017년 10월 18일까지 10일간 이루어졌다. 본 연구를 수행하기 위해 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0을 활용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구는 보건계열 대학생의 창업가 특성이 창업의지에 영향을 미치는지, 창업교육과 창업지원제도는 기업과 특성과 창업의지의 관계에서 조절효과를 미치는지를 확인하였다. 보건계열대학생의 창업가 특성인 성취욕구, 자기효능감, 위험감수성 중 위험감수성만이 창업의지에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 창업교육, 창업지원제도인 대학창업지원활동, 정부창업지원정책 중 창업가 특성과 창업의지 간의 관계에서 대학창업지원제도만 조절작용을 하는 것으로 나타났다.

Influence of Stress Coping Type, Professor-student Interaction, Major Satisfaction on Life Stress of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 스트레스 대처방법, 교수-학생 관계, 전공만족도가 생활 스트레스에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate Stress Coping Type, Professor-student Interaction, Major Satisfaction on Life Stress of Nursing Students. The data were collected using questionnaire from 146 nursing students, May 27 to May 30, 2018 at a college in the J city. The analysis of the data was done through SPSS 20.0/window statistical analysis by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression. Upon examining the correlation between Life Stress and Professor-student Interaction, Major Satisfaction the correlation was significant. The result of the multiple regression indicates the Professor-student Interaction(β=-.34, p<.001) predict 29.5%(F=9.70, p<.001). Based on the results of the study, it is expected to be used as basic data for various programs to improve professor - student interaction of nursing students.

  • 최근 전 세계적 기상이변으로 홍수 가뭄 폭설 혹서 혹한 등의 재해 때문에 많은 사람들이 고통에 시달리고 있다. 기상이변으로 인한 재해는 과거에도 존재하였으며 한민족의 역사와 함께하였다. 온고이지신가 이위사의(溫故而知新可以爲師矣)는 논어의 위정편(爲政編)에 나오는 공자의 말씀이다. '옛 것을 익혀 새것을 알면 남의 스승이 될 수 있다'라는 뜻으로 재난을 연구하는 연구자의 입장에서 보면 반드시 새겨둘 구절이다. 역사 속에서 자연재해는 군주(君主)의 부덕(不德)이나 실정(失政)의 소치(所致)로 여겨지고 나아가서는 왕조나 국운의 쇠퇴와도 관련이 이어지기까지 했다. 이미 과거 자연기록에 있었던 일들이며 이러한 사실은 세계문화유산으로 지정된 "조선왕조실록"을 통해 조선시대의 자연재해 기록을 살펴볼 수 있다. "조선왕조실록"을 보면 경술년 현종 11년(1670년 5월 2일) "가없는 우리백성들이 무슨 죄가 있단 말인가. 아, 허물은 나에게 있는데, 어째서 재앙은 백성에게 내린단 말인가." 1671년 말 경신대기근으로 인한 사망자 수가 100만 명에 이른다고 기록도 있다. 기양의례'란 가뭄, 홍수, 전염병 같은 자연재해만이 아니라 개인의 질병과 불행 등 일상적인 삶의 조건을 위협하는 상황이 닥쳤을 때 이를 소멸하고자 거행하는 대표적인 재난문화의 종류이며 비정기적 의례를 의미한다. 조선시대에 기양의례는 재난대응의 상징적인 의미를 갖고 있다. 현재의 우리나라로 보면 재난안전대책 본부와 비견할 수 있다. 조선시대에는 "기양의례"를 통해 임금을 포함한 조정이 적극적 해결의지를 천명하고 각 고을의 관리와 지방군을 동원하여 수습 복구에 최선을 다했다. 부세를 견감하고 구제곡을 지급하는 등의 진휼정책이 뒤따랐다. 백성들도 오가작통제와 향약을 통해 환난상휼을 실천하였다. 이처럼 조선시대에는 비록 기술적인 부분은 미약했지만 재난대응의 체계만큼은 상당히 앞서있었다. 본 연구에서는 조선시대의 강원도 영동지방 자연재난사례를 조선왕조실록을 통해 조사하고 재난에 대응하기 위한 재난문화를 조사하고자 한다.
