본고에서는 차세대 이동통신 단말 기술에 대해서 알아본다. 차세대 이동통신망은 새로운 4세대 이동통신뿐 만 아니라 기존의 3세대 셀룰라 이동통신, 와이브로, 무선랜 등의 다양한 무선 액세스 시스템이 공존하는 형태로 발전하며 서비스 또한 통신, 방송, 인터넷 접속 등이 다양하게 융합되는 형태로 전개될 것으로 예측된다. 이와 같은 차세대 이동통신망 환경에서의 단말은 다양한 무선 액세스 시스템에 접속이 가능하도록 멀티-모드/멀티-밴드를 지원하며 사용자에게 고속의 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하는 올-인-원 형태의 단말로 발전할 것으로 전망된다. 이를 위하여 차세대 이동통신 단말은 고속의 무선 전송 기술, 다양한 무선 액세스 기술을 수용할 수 있는 플랫폼 및 핸드오버 기술, 그리고 다양한 장치 기술 상의 발전을 필요로 한다.

주행 시뮬레이터는 여러 가지 주행상황을 탑승자에게 전달하고자 하는 장치이다. 기존의 주행 시뮬레이터에 관한 대부분의 연구는 탑승자의 감성평가에 관해 이루어지지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 탑승자의 감성을 주행 시뮬레이터에 피드백하여 주행 시뮬레이터의 성능을 향상시키고자 한다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 다변량 해석형 수법, 기능 전개형 수법, 가상현실 감성공학 등을 응용하여 동적 시스템에 대한 측정 및 평가방안을 연구하였다. 설정된 목표감성인 운동감에 대한 20여개의 감성어휘 추출과 주행 시뮬레이터에 대한 분석을 통하여 차단주파수를 감성요인으로 정하였다. 감성어휘와 감성요인간의 관계를 평가하기 위하여 감성실험을 수행하였고, 그 측정결과를 통계학적으로 분석하였다.

The development of libraries services has been influenced by the nature and the changes of social environment where the library's functions are ultimately fulfilled. Community information services of libraries are designed to cope with the changes more efficiently in information society. In this paper, the concept and background of community information services are introduced and expected benefits of offering them are discussed. In addition, based on the results which examination 19 public libraries in seoul, some recommendations for effective community information services are suggested.

This study aims to investigate present situations and problems of local Bookstart program, difficulties faced by local organizations in the course of them implementing the program, and awareness on institutional support system, and ultimately propose strategies for its activation. In particular, considering that public libraries with easier access to babies having highly limited mobility and accessability should be the base of the program, the essay focuses on strategies of its activation for public libraries.

최근 화학물질 안전사고가 잇따라 발생하면서 사업장 내 안전제품을 구비하고 안전한 작업환경을 조성하려는 움직임이 확산되고 있다. (주)유민에쓰티(대표 유흥근)는 이러한 화학물질 안전사고를 예방하기 위해 불산, 염소 등의 화학약품 유출을 감지하는 센서장치를 생산하는 곳이다. 이곳은 누수감지센서를 비롯해 스팀검출센서, 옥외용 강산 검출센서, 유기성액체 검출센서 등을 개발하면서 산업안전제품시장에서 무서운 신장세를 드러내고 있다. 특히 지난 2008년에는 인쇄전자 기반의 필름형 누수감지센서를 세계 최초로 개발해 국무총리상을 수상하면서 우수한 기술력을 자랑하기도 했다. 또한 국내외 약 50여 건에 이르는 특허 획득을 통해 품질을 인증받았으며, 미국전기전자공학회(IEEE)에 소개되는 등 해외에서도 기술력을 인정받고 있다. 이처럼 (주)유민에쓰티는 끊임없는 기술 개발로 안전한 작업현장을 조성하는 데 이바지하고 있다. 하지만 유민에스티의 모든 관계자들은 사업장 내 안전이 먼저 확보됐었기에 이 같은 성장이 가능했다고 입을 모아 말한다. 제조업 특성상 안전사고 발생률이 높은데도 불구하고 2003년 설립된 이후 단 한 건의 안전사고와 산재가 발생하지 않았을 만큼 철저한 안전관리를 전개하고 있는 것이다. 안전을 바탕으로 눈부신 성장을 하고 있는 (주)유민에쓰티를 찾아가봤다.

In this paper, wave absorbing characteristics of a horizontal submerged punching plate are investigated throughout the calculation and the experiment. The punching plate with the array of circular holes can force the flow to separate and to form eddies of high vorticity and cause significant energy loss. As an analytic tool, the linear water wave theory and the eigenfunction expansion method is applied. Darcy's law that the normal velocity of the fluid passing through the punching plate is linearly proportional to the pressure difference between two sides of the punching plate is assumed. The proportional constant called the porous coefficient is deeply dependent to the porosity. To obtain the relationship between the porosity and the porous coefficient the systematic model test for the punching plates with 6 different porosities is conducted at 2-dimensional wave tank. It is found that the porous coefficient is linearly proportional to the porosity(b=57.63P-0.9717). It is also noted that the optimal porosity value is near P=0.1 and the optimal range of submergence depth is $d/h\\leq0.2$ within entire frequency range.

Two conceptually thorny issues in IT governance definition and understanding are examined and discussed. It is argued that the traditional IT governance definition, which defines governance in terms of the content of enterprise IT activity, is prone to logical inconsistency and indeterminacy. A new objectives-bound definition of IT governance is proposed as a remedy to the problem. It is proposed that the essence of the objectives-bound IT governance lies in making enterprise IT activity explicit, formal and subject to external scrutiny in its effort to achieve the effectiveness, transparency and accountability of IT. A conceptual apparatus called IT activity axes is employed to characterize and distinguish the different approaches to IT governance definition and understanding. It is suggested that IT governance can be defined using a simple frame of reference with logical consistency and coherence. The theoretical and practical implications of the IT governance definition are discussed at the end.

The wave power, extracted from a circular array of small power buoys, is investigated under the potential theory. It is assumed that the buoy's radius, the draft, and the separation distance are much smaller than the water depth, the wave length, and the radius of a circular deployment area. The boundary value problem involving the macro-scale boundary condition on the mean surface covered by buoys is solved using the eigenfunction expansion method. The capture width, which is defined as the ratio of the extracted power to the wave power per unit length of the incident wave crest, is assessed for various combinations of packing ratio, radius of a circular array, and PTO damping coefficient. It is found that the circular array deployment is more effective in the viewpoint of efficiency than the single large buoy of the same total displaced volume.

This paper is a study on validation model that can verify the arrangement of equipment constituting offshore plant using system engineering approach in offshore plant tender stage. In order to design offshore plant topside maintenance equipment, topside layout verification should be preceded. However, there are many errors in the bidding stage due to the FEED results that are not perfect, the verification can not be performed sufficiently due to the limitation of the bidding period and others reasons. Therefore, we propose a validation model that can effectively verify the equipment layout within a limited condition by simplifying the main process in the system engineering process, which is a multidisciplinary approach, and confirmed through the Functional Deployment Model. Also, we verified the validation model for topside equipment deployment through case studies.

A pretensioner is a safety device that protects occupants by pulling the seat belt in the event of a vehicle collision. However, since the pretensioner is driven by a explosive method, it is necessary to replace not only the gas generator but also all connecting parts including the manifold after an accident. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an elastic force-based pretensioner that can be used safely and semi-permanently. After analyzing the operating mechanism of the existing pretensioner from a thermodynamic/dynamic point of view, the spring stiffness that can be deployed within an appropriate operating time was determined by converting the gas explosion energy into elastic energy. In addition, the coil spring shape that satisfies the elastic stiffness was designed in consideration of the vehicle interior installation standard. Finally, the operating performance of the pretensioner driven by elastic force was verified through fabrication.
