대화방식(對話方式)의 특징(特徵)을 가진 SDI 시스팀의 성능(性能)

  • 이용자(利用者) 중심(中心)의 대화방식(對話方式) 시스팀을 개발(開發)하고 시험(試驗)하였다. 2년(年)동안 280개의 프로파일로 CA - Condensates 데이터 베이스내에서 정보(情報)를 검색(檢索)해 보았다. 그 시스팀의 작업능률(作業能率)을 사용(使用)한 데이터 베이스와 하드웨어의 구조(構造), 소프트웨어 패키지, 이용자(利用者)의 수(數), 그리고 정보(情報)센터에서 제공(提供)한 보조(補助)에 따라 평가(評價)하였다. 대화식(對話式) 검색방법(檢索方法)이나 이용자(利用者)의 요구(要求)를 양화(量化)하는 것, 그리고 여러가지 분야별(分野別)로 검색(檢索)하는 방법(方法) 등 이용자(利用者)의 요구(要求)를 보다 충실(充實)하게 만족(滿足)시킬 수 있는 여러가지 방법(方法)들을 논의(論議)하였다. 모든 정보(情報)시스팀의 목적(目的)은 적시(適時)에 올바른 정(情)보를 적자(適者)에게 제공(提供)하는 것이라고 잘 알려져 있다. 다시 말해서, 정보(情報)시스팀의 주요목적(主要目的)은 이용자(利用者)의 요구(要求)를 충족(充足)시켜 주는 것이다. 이러한 관념(觀念)의 변화(變化)는 정보처리(情報處理)에 큰 변화(變化)를 가져와 정보(情報)시스팀의 적응성(適應性)을 증가(增加)시키기 위해 여러 가지 새로운 방법(方法)들이 개발(開發)되었다. 정보(情報)시스팀들 사이의 상호작용(相互作用), 사람과 컴퓨터와의 대화(對話), 그리고 컴퓨터의 조력(助力)으로 이용자(利用者)의 프로파일을 작성(作成)하는 것 등은 이용자(利用者)의 요구(要求)를 존중(尊重)하고, 필요(必要)한 정보(情報)를 쉽게 찾기 위해서 고안(考案)된 것이다. 한편, 우리들은 이용자(利用者)의 특성(特性)이나 배경(背景), 그리고 문헌(文獻)에 대한 그의 습성(習性) 등에 대해서 얼마나 모르고 있는가를 깨닫게 된다. 상기(上記)의 내용(內容)을 요약(要略)하면, 근대정보(近代情報) 시스팀은 다음의 필요조건(必要條件)을 만족(滿足)해야 한다. 1) 이용자(利用者)의 요구(要求)에 호응(呼應)하기 위해서 적합(適合)한 일련(一連)의 정보(情報)를 제공(提供)해야 한다. 2) 이용자(利用者)와의 관계(關系)에서 시스팀은 적극적(積極的)이어야 한다. 즉, 프로파일 검색공식(檢索公式)에서 유발(誘發)되는 잘못을 지시(指示)하고 지적(指適)할 수 있어 야 한다. 나아가서 컴퓨터의 조력(助力)으로 프로파일을 작성(作成)하고 쉽게 수정(修正)할 수 있는 바람직하다. 우리들은 상기(上記)한 필수조건(必須條件)에 일치(一致)하도록 노력(努力) 하고 Bratislava에 위치(位置)하고 있는 슬로박 과학원(科學院)의 무기화학연구소(無機化學硏究所)와 화학공업경제연구소(化學工業經濟硏究所)가 공동(共同)으로 개발(開發)한 시스팀이 상기(上記)의 특수성(特殊性) 최소(最少)한 몇가지 도입(導入)하였다. 시스팀은 CACS라는 작업명하(作業名下)에서 운영(運營)되었다. 대략 15개월동안 280여개의 프로파일로 CA- Condensates 데이터베이스에서 정보(情報)를 검색(檢索)하여 이용자(利用者)들에게 최신정보(最新情報) 주지사업(周知事業)을 해 보았다. 우리들은 시스팀의 작업능률(作業能率)을 평가(評價)하고 이용자(利用者)의 요구(要求)를 만족(滿足)시키는 최선(最善)의 방법(方法)을 모색(摸索)하였다. 우선 이용자(利用者)와 시스팀사이를 밀접(密接)하게 연결(連結)하는데 중점(重點)을 두었다. 작업능률(作業能率Z)을 분석(分折)해 보고 우리들은 효율(效率)에 영향(影響)을 주는 인자(因子)는 다음의 4가지 주요분류(主要分類)에 속한다는 결론(結論)을 얻었다. (1) 검색(檢索)하는 데이터 베이스 (2) 情報시스팀, 소프트웨어 패키지 그리고 하드웨어 구조(構造) (3) 이용자(利用者)의 특성(特性)과 그의 요구(要求) (4) 정보(情報)센터가 이용자(利用者)에게 제공(提供)하는 보조(補助)

  • 프로세스 중심 소프트웨어 개발 환경(PSEE : Process-centered Software Engineering Environment)은 소프트웨어 개발자를 위한 여러가지 정보의 제공과 타스크의 수행, 소프트웨어 개발 도구의 수행 및 제어, 필수적인 규칙이나 업무의 수행등과 같은 다양한 행위를 제공하는 프로세스 모형의 수행을 통하여 소프트웨어 개발 행위를 지원한다. SEED(Software Engineering Environment for Development)는 효율적인 소프트웨어 개발과 프로세스 모형의 수행을 제어하기 위해 ETRI에서 개발된 PSEE이다.본 논문에서는 SEED에서 프로세스 모형을 설계하기 위해 사용되는 SimFlex 프로세스 프로그래밍 언어와, 수행지원시스템인 SEED Engine의 구현에 대하여 기술한다. SimFlex는 간단한 언어 구조를 가진 프로세스 프로그래밍 언어이며, 적절한 적합화를 통하여 다른 PSEE에서 사용될 수 있다. SimFlex 컴파일러는 SimFlex에 의해 기술된 프로세스 모형을 분석하고, 모형의 오류를 검사하며, SEED Engine에 의해 참조되는 중간 프로세스 모형을 생성한다. 중간 프로세스 모형을 사용하여 SEED Engine은 외부 모니터링 도구와 연관하여 사용자를 위한 유용한 정보뿐만 아니라 SimFlex에 의해 기술된 프로세스 모형의 자동적인 수행을 제공한다. SimFlex 언어와 수행지원 시스템의 지원을 통하여 소프트웨어 프로세스를 모형화하는데 드는 비용과 시간을 줄일 수 있으며, 편리하게 프로젝트를 관리하여 양질의 소프트웨어 생산물을 도출할 수 있다. Abstract Process-centered Software Engineering Environments(PSEEs) support software development activities through the enaction of process models, providing a variety of activities such as supply of various information for software developers, automation of routine tasks, invocation and control of software development tools, and enforcement of mandatory rules and practices. The SEED(Software Engineering Environment for Development) system is a PSEE which was developed for effective software process development and controlling the enactment of process models by ETRI.In this paper, we describe the implementation of the SimFlex process programming language used to design process models in SEED, and its runtime support system called by SEED Engine. SimFlex is a software process programming language to describe process models with simple language constructs, and it could be embedded into other PSEEs through appropriate customization. The SimFlex compiler analyzes process models described by SimFlex, check errors in the models, and produce intermediate process models referenced by the SEED Engine. Using the intermediate process models, the SEED Engine provides automatic enactment of the process models described by SimFlex as well as useful information for agents linked to the external monitoring tool. With the help of the SimFlex language and its runtime support system, we can reduce cost and time in modeling software processes and perform convenient project management, producing well-qualified software products.

Classification of Representative Emotions to Measure Emotions Expressed by Traditional Korean-style house (한국 전통가옥에서 느껴지는 감성 측정을 위한 대표 감성 분류)

  • Hanok (a traditional Korean-style house) has recently become a popular attraction for tourists all over the world. Jeonju Hanok Village, for example, attracted about 10 million visitors for 2 consecutive years. Observing Hanok's popularity, many local governments drew up plans to improve tourism dynamics by strengthening the advantages of Hanok. Emotionally rich experience is required to offer a greater satisfying experience that meets the demands of tourists. However, very few studies yet have addressed how to measure those emotions felt by users while experiencing Hanok. As an attempt to improve this situation, 182 emotional words were collected from earlier studies and classified into 33 groups with the Delphi method. Among the emotional words in each of the 33 groups, those of overlapping concepts on the characteristics of Hanok were re-grouped, and extracted the most appropriate 68 words. Additionally, a survey was conducted with 325 people who had experienced Hanok to gather 30-most representative emotions for measuring emotions felt from Hanok. The factor analysis of the 30 representative emotions resulted in classified 6 factors based on common features of emotional words: senses of aesthetics, happiness, novelty, ownership, balance and relaxation. The 30 representative emotions and six emotion categories found out by this study can help measure how much people feel certain emotions while experiencing hanoks. Further study will explore the degree of emotions hanok users feel about objects of hanok, such as roof materials and shapes, and body shapes.

Adsorption Features of Lead Ion on Waste Undaria pinnatifida (폐기된 해조류를 이용한 납 이온의 흡착 특성)

  • Basic studies have been conducted regarding the attempt of the utilization of waste Undaria pinnatifida as an adsorbent for the adsorption treatment of lead-containing wastewater. Undaria pinnatifida was found to be chiefly composed of hyo-carbonaceous compounds and have a fairly high specific surface area, which suggesting the possibility of its application as a Potential adsorbent. The electrokinetic Potential of Undaria pinnatifida particles was observed to be negatively highest at around pH 8 and the fact that its electrokinetic potentials are negative at the whole pH range supported it might be an efficient adsorbent especially for cationic adsorbates. Under the experimental conditions, $Pb^{2+}$ was found to mostly adsorb onto Undaria pinnatifida within a few minutes and reach the equilibrium in adsorption within ca. 30 minutes. The adsorption of $Pb^{2+}$ was exothermic and explained well by e Freundlich model. Acidic pretreatment of Undaria pinnatifida enhanced its adsorption capacity for $Pb^{2+}$ , however, the reverse was observed for alkaline pretreatment. The formation of organometallic complex between $Pb^{2+}$ and some functional groups on the surface of Undaria pinnatifida was considered to be one of the main drives for adsorption. Finally the adsorbability of$ Pb^{2+}$ was examined to be rather affected by several solution features such as the coexistence of other adsorbate, the variation of ionic strength, and the concentration of complexing agent.

  • In order to evaluate the feasibility of selective sulfidization of uranium and rare-earth(RE) oxides, an analysis on thermodynamic data, such as $M-O_2-S_2$ phase stability diagram and changes of Gibbs free energy for sulfidization of uranium and rare-earth oxides were carried out. Comparing $RE-O_2-S_2$ with $U-O_2-S_2$ phase stability diagram at wide range of sulfur potential, $UO_2$ remains unreacted, while RE oxides are sulfidized. The Gibbs free energy change(${\Delta}G^{\circ}$) of sulfidization of RE oxides is lower than that of uranium oxides. Thus, the selective formation of RE sulfides is possible during sulfidization of RE and uranium oxides at lower temperature. $CS_2$ was selected as a sulfidizing agent, because it is a stronger sulfidizing agent than other agents and reacts at lower temperature.

  • Nuclear fuel cladding tubes are manufactured through pilgering and the annealing process. In order to remove the oxidized layer and impurities on the surface of the tube, a pickling process is required. Zirconium (Zr) is dissolved in a HF and $HNO_3$ acid mixture during the process and the pickling waste acid, including the dissolved Zr, is completely discarded after neutralization. This study observes the effects of the residual impurities (Ba) in the pickling solution regenerated from the $BaF_2$ precipitation process on the waste pickling solution. In addition, the concentration of Ba and Zr for the actual nuclear fuel cladding tube process was optimized. The regenerated pickling solution was tested through a pilot plant pickling process device that simulates the commercial pickling process of nuclear fuel cladding tubes, and the pickling efficiency was analyzed through AFM analysis of the roughness of the cladding tube surface.

  • Biological sequences such as DNA sequences and amino acid sequences typically contain a large number of items. They have contiguous sequences that ordinarily consist of hundreds of frequent items. In biological sequences analysis(BSA), a frequent contiguous sequence search is one of the most important operations. Many studies have been done for mining sequential patterns efficiently. Most of the existing methods for mining sequential patterns are based on the Apriori algorithm. In particular, the prefixSpan algorithm is one of the most efficient sequential pattern mining schemes based on the Apriori algorithm. However, since the algorithm expands the sequential patterns from frequent patterns with length-1, it is not suitable for biological dataset with long frequent contiguous sequences. In recent years, the MacosVSpan algorithm was proposed based on the idea of the prefixSpan algorithm to significantly reduce its recursive process. However, the algorithm is still inefficient for mining frequent contiguous sequences from long biological data sequences. In this paper, we propose an efficient method to mine maximal frequent contiguous sequences in large biological data sequences by constructing the spanning tree with the fixed length. To verify the superiority of the proposed method, we perform experiments in various environments. As the result, the experiments show that the proposed method is much more efficient than MacosVSpan in terms of retrieval performance.

Incremental Maintenance of Horizontal Views Using a PIVOT Operation and a Differential File in Relational DBMSs (관계형 데이터베이스에서 PIVOT 연산과 차등 파일을 이용한 수평 뷰의 점진적인 관리)

  • To analyze multidimensional data conveniently and efficiently, OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing) systems or e-business are widely using views in a horizontal form to represent measurement values over multiple dimensions. These views can be stored as materialized views derived from several sources in order to support accesses to the integrated data. The horizontal views can provide effective accesses to complex queries of OLAP or e-business. However, we have a problem of occurring maintenance of the horizontal views since data sources are distributed over remote sites. We need a method that propagates the changes of source tables to the corresponding horizontal views. In this paper, we address incremental maintenance of horizontal views that makes it possible to reflect the changes of source tables efficiently. We first propose an overall framework that processes queries over horizontal views transformed from source tables in a vertical form. Under the proposed framework, we propagate the change of vertical tables to the corresponding horizontal views. In order to execute this view maintenance process efficiently, we keep every change of vertical tables in a differential file and then modify the horizontal views with the differential file. Because the differential file is represented as a vertical form, its tuples should be converted to those in a horizontal form to apply them to the out-of-date horizontal view. With this mechanism, horizontal views can be efficiently refreshed with the changes in a differential file without accessing source tables. Experimental results show that the proposed method improves average performance by 1.2$\sim$5.0 times over the existing methods.

Reduction of Acrylamide Formation in Potato Chips Fermented by Bacillus sp. (Bacillus sp. 발효를 이용한 감자 칩의 아크릴아마이드 저감화)

  • The market for potato chips has expanded due to increased consumption of seasoned potato chips. However, the deep-frying process facilitates development of a browning color and formation of acrylamide. The objective of this work was to minimize browning color and acrylamide formation by fermentation prior to deep-frying. Potato slices were fermented by using three Bacillus strains, B. licheniformis (BL), B. methylotrophicus (BM), and B. subtilis, for 6 h at $30^{\circ}C$. In all fermentation groups, contents of total sugars in potato slices decreased. The color of fermented potato chips improved compared to the control. BM potato chips showed the best color values (76.33 in L value, 5.67 in a value, and 34.79 in b value). All fermentation processes reduced levels of acrylamide in deep-fried potato chips. Fermentation of potato slices for 2 h by BL reduced up to 96.1% acrylamide content. It was concluded that the fermentation process can positively affect color development and acrylamide formation.

  • Recently, public works becoming bigger in Jeju are implemented various kinds of ground reinforcement method including the chemical grouting method. In this study, we have been investigated on the proper material and the injection condition for the excellent injection effect and the excellent strength of injection material and the permanent waterproof and reinforcement through the experiment. The kind of injection material has been selected through the uniaxial compression test and the endurance test of injection material as the chamber test. An experiment was performed with model ground made of scoria, the injection performance of selected material has been identified through the evaluation test of injection range using the decision test of injection amount and the calibration chamber test. As a result of test, it has been analyzed that MSG appeared to have the excellent strength, durability and injection performance all compared with the ordinary cement, this result is judged to be possible as the ancillary data of design at time of design and construction with the chemical grouting method in the future.
