  • This paper is a study on the 3D infrared image enhancement with Stereoscopic algorithm on still infrared image. The adapted stereo method is that the depth is extracted by comparison with right-left image, and the enhanced 3D infrared image by matching based on feature is realized. As the result of experiment this method forced the more smooth edge lines of 3D infrared images.

  • The 3D infrared image enhancement with Stereoscopic algorithm on still infrared image is presented. The adapted stereoscopic method is that the depth is extracted by comparison with right-left image, and the enhanced 3D infrared image by matching based on feature is realized. As the result of experiment this method forces a 3D infrared image by the edge lines to be more smooth.

  • When simulate long distance infrared image in the laboratory the Infrared Refractive Collimator is used. In this case, infrared light reflected from the surface of the lens and target. The reflected infrared light causes Narcissus. Narcissus degrades the quality of the infrared image. To minimize Narcissus optimize the reflective index and placement of the lenses, lenses and target surface coated.

  • In this paper, we propose a smoke detection system in order to detect a fire in a wide space, such as tunnel, airports using infra-red and visible laser. The proposed smoke detection system is composed of infra-red laser transmitter and receiver, visible laser and Zigbee wireless communication network. A visible laser is used to match transmitter and receiver and Zigbee network is utilized to propagate warnings of fire. If smoke is appeared between transmitter and receiver, received signals are decreased and it can be considered as occurring smoke. As IR laser transmitter and receiver are separated by long distance, it is difficult to match due to large variations caused by small change of direction. In this paper, it is proposed to match effectively using visible laser. When smoke is detected, warning informations are propagated by Zigbee network in the developed smoke detection system.

  • 최근 임베디드 운영체제의 중요성이 부각되지만, 임베디드 운영체제의 개발자는 매우 열악한 상황이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 쉽게 접할 수 있는 임베디드 운영체재인 legOS를 소개하고 커널을 분석해보며, legOS의 커널 수정을 통해 RCX간의 통신 수단인 적외선 통신의 한계점을 개선하여, 적외선 통신이 불가능한 RCX간에도 통신이 가능하도록 Routing 기능을 구현하도록 한다.

  • A small infrared image homing system is a tracking system that has an infrared image sensor that identifies a target through the day and night infrared image processing of the target on the ground and searches for and detects the target with respect to the main target. This paper describes the development of a board equipped with a high-speed CPU and FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) to identify target through real-time image processing by acquiring target information through infrared image. We propose a CPU-FPGA combining architecture for CPU and FPGA selection and video signal processing, and also describe a controller design using FPGA to control infrared sensor.

  • 광응용 분야는 광학, 전기, 전자 기술의 진보에 따라 괄목할만한 발전을 하고 있으며 그 응용폭 또한 넓다고 할 수 있겠다. 적외선 센서의 응용은 산업, 의학, 군사, 가전제품, 통신, 방재 등 다양하며 이 응용 분야 확대에 따라 센서의 고성능화 가격의 저렴화가 요구되므로 각분야에서 이른바 Intelligent화로의 연구가 활발한 실정이며 적외선 센서의 한 종류인 초전형 적외선 센서는 유전체에 조사되는 적외선에 의해 표면 전하가 변화하는 초전효과를 이용한 센서로서 이를 사용한 제품으로는 Human Detecting을 하는 Light control, Home Automation, 도난 경보기가 있으며, 화재 경보기, 가정용 조리기구, 비접촉식 온도계 등에도 사용되고 있다. 본 고에서는 광분야 중에서도 적외선 센서의 종류와 당사에서 개발하여 상품화시킨 초전형 적외선 센서에 대한 기술적인 개요와 응용분야를 기술하고자 한다.
