LowCycle Fatigue Characteristics of 1Cr0.5Mo Pipe Steel Using the Plastic Strain Energy Method (소성변형에너지법을 이용한 1Cr0.5Mo강의 저주기피로 특성에 관한 연구)

  • 영활화혁발전소 보일러헤다 재질인 1Cr0.5Mo강의 파형에 따른 저주기 피로특성을 규명하고자 상온(298K) 및 고온(177K)의 삼각파와 사인파형 저주기 피로시험을 수행하였고 소성에너지법을 이용하여 파형에 따른 소성변형에너지와 피로수명과의 +관계를 분석하였다. 저주기 피로시 재료내부의 소성변형에너지를 히스테리시스루프의 면적으로 계산하여 구하였으며 이를통해 저주기 피로수명을 예측하였고 Coffin-Manson법 및 변형률분할법을 이용한 저주기 피로수명 결과와 서로 잘 일치하였다. 또한 상온 및 고온에서 피로반복수의 증가와 함께 재료가 반봅연화됨을 알 수 있었다.

  • This paper studied the high-velocity impact behavior characteristics of metal materials by crosschecking the high-velocity impact analysis with the high-velocity impact experiment results of aluminul 6061. The coefficients of the Huh-Kang material model and the Johnson-Cook fracture model were calculated through quasi-static using MTS-810 and dynamic experimenting using the Hopkinson bar equipment for high-velocity impact analysis. The penetration velocity and shape were predicted through high-velocity impact analysis using the LS-DYNA. The resultes were compared with the experiment results using a high-velocit experiment equipment. It is intended to be used the containment evaluation research for aircraft gas turbine engine blade.

  • A study has been conducted on the bulging process of liquid rocket engine nozzle which is essential to the manufacturing regenerative cooling combustion chamber. Mechanical properties of the material used for the bulging were experimentally obtained by tension tests. Deformation of the bulged nozzle was confirmed by a structural analysis. The developed bulging process and the deformation analysis result were confirmed by manufacturing of the bulged nozzle specimens and the bulging test. There has been a bulging failure among 7 bulged specimens due to the necking of the material. The cause of necking was investigated by comparing microstructure of the material. The investigation has revealed grain size of the material has considerable effect on the occurrence of the necking.

  • Reversed plane bending fatigue tests were conducted on SiC particle aluminum composite. The initiation and growth behaviors of small surface fatigue cracks were continuously monitored by the replica technique and investigated in detail. The fatigue life of MMC is shorter than that of matrix because there exists interface debonding of SiC particles and matrix on the whole face of the notch part in the casting metal matrix composite(MMC). The coalescence of micro-cracks was observed in the tests conducted at high stress levels. Due to the coalescence, a higher crack growth rate of small cracks rather than those of long cracks was recognized in da/dn-$K_{max}$ relationship.

  • 박용 디젤엔진 부품 크랭크샤프트의 기계적 성질에 미치는 화학 성분과 열처리 공정의 영향을 인장시험기, 경도시험기, 충격시험기와 광학현미경으로 조사연구하였다. 시행된 4가지 열처리공정중 다음의 열처리 공정인 노말라이징$\longrightarrow$TR단조$\longrightarrow$\ulcorner칭$\longrightarrow$템퍼링이 최적의 기계적 성질을 나타냈다. 이때 기계적인 성질은 오스테나이트 결정입도 크기, 냉각 속도, 오스테나이트화 온도와 오스테나이트화 유지 시간에 의존하였다. 오스테나이트 결정입도는 TR단조 후의 초기 결정입도 크기에 의존하고, 냉각 속도는 C-곡선 Nose를 지나야 하고, 오스테나이트화 온도는 탄소 함량에 의존하고 그리고 오스테나이트화 유지 시간은 저어널지름에 의존하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Recently in the evaluation of physical properties of a material, its surface friction characteristics is much required. This study treats the development of portable and affordable friction coefficient tester, which includes utensil design and application, measurement circuit design and layout, and microprocessor based firmware building. Also, real applicability of the present portable friction coefficient tester has been shown via performance comparisons with the existing standard tester.

  • 한국전력공사의 송배전 손실은 '84년 6.34%로서 선진국 수준에 접근하고 있으나 최근에 감소율 둔화로 보다 고차원적인 대책이 필요하며 이의 일환으로 변압기 철손을 1/3-1/4로 줄일 수 있는 Amorphous 변압기 개발이 미국, 일본에서 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 그러므로 본 연구사업은 이에 상품화된 Amorphous 재료를 이용하여 단상, 20KVA Amorphous 변압기 6대를 시험 제작하여 최적설계방법, 제작기술, 경제성 검토를 행하였다.

  • In this work, the thermal and mechanical properties of vapor grown carbon nanofibers (VGCNFs)-reinforced difunctional epoxy (EP) composites were investigated in the presence of the 0, 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, and $2wt\%$ VGCNFs. The thermal properties of the VGCNFs/EP composites were studied by thermo-mechanical analysis (TMA) and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). The mechanical properties of the VGCNFs/EP composites were also examined by universal testing machine (UTM), falling impact test, and the friction and wear tests. From experimental results, the thermal and mechanical properties of the VGCNFs/EP composites were improved with increasing the VGCNFs contents. This was due to the increase of crosslinking structure of the composites, resulting in improving the mechanical interlockings between VGCNFs and epoxy resins in the present composite system.

  • A reseach was peformed to develop composite pressure vessels in conjunction with design, fabrication, and test. Fiber pattern and angels were decided by CADFIL software and they were [$liner/15^{\circ}/15^{\circ}/90^{\circ}/18^{\circ}/90^{\circ}/21^{\circ}/21^{\circ}/90^{\circ}$]. Fabrication of bottles were done by 5-axis filament winding machine. During fabrication fiber optic sensors were embedded to measure the strain at points when internal pressure was applied by water pump. Conventional strain gage instrumentation showed the stable test results. The test results were compared to finite element analysis results and they were close each other in strain values. One can see the successful design and fabrication of single boss composite vessels.

  • 본 논문은 변압기의 과부하 상태를 모의하고 내부 절연물의 잔존수명을 평가하기 위한 방법으로 가속 열 열화 시험을 수행하였으며, 광유 함침 절연지의 열 스트레스에 의한 절연 열화 특성을 분석하였다. 시험에 사용된 절연재료는 변압기의 주 절연물로 널리 사용하고 있는 셀룰로스계 크래프트 절연지와 광유계 절연유를 사용하였다. 가속 열 열화 시험은 IEEE/ANSI Standard C59.91-1981의 수명 예측 곡선에 의거하여 국내 배전환경에 부합하도록 $55^{\circ}C$ 절연시스템을 기준으로 하였으며, $150^{\circ}C$에서 약 1,000시간 동안 열 스트레스를 인가함으로써 변압기의 수명이 다하도록 모의하였다. 또한 절연지의 절연 열화 특성을 분석하기 위해 인장강도, 비유전율, 절연파괴 강도를 시험하였다.
