The purpose of this study was to investigate early childhood special education teachers' experience, difficulties and need for effective disability understanding education in inclusive education field. The researcher interviewed 3 different early childhood special education teacher. Each participant was individually interviewed 2-3 times with deliberated questions for collecting data. After the interview was analyzed, the contents were categorized into three major themes and twelve sub themes. The three major themes were (1) early childhood special education teachers' difficulties in inclusive education field. (2) experience in the disability understanding education (3) need for proper disability understanding education. First, the teachers were awareness of the difficulties at the inclusive education field due to ambiguity in the role and location, the extension of the expertise, and the misaligned system. Second, teachers stated that the barriers to disability understanding education include creating prejudice, varied according to teachers ' abilities, poor perception of appropriate methods, and low concerns of adults and young children. Third, the results showed that development of the teaching manual, improvement of the administrative system, change in perception of disability understanding education, and disability understanding education based on the experiences of young children were necessary for effective disability understanding education. Based on these results, several specific implications for effective disability understanding education were suggested.

This study aims to analyze the effects of education for persons with disabilities on non-disabled children's attitude to accept disabled children in order to use it as foundational data to practice successful integrated education. According to the study result, education for persons with disabilities positively changed non-disabled children's attitude to accept disabled children's school life and personal life. This plainly shows that education for persons with disabilities is effective regardless of time consumed even with the short time of four weeks here. However, it did not exert positive effects on their attitude to accept social life. Therefore, it is needed to develop education programs for persons with disabilities constantly with various approaches in order to get rid of non-disabled people's wrong recognition on disability and also ignorance about disability.

대부분의 발달장애를 돌보는 어머니의 양육경험 속에는 스트레스로 인한 부정적 정서 및 우울증을 포함하지만, 어떤 어머니들은 장애자녀로 인해 가족 및 사회적 친화력을 높이고 긍정적인 정서경험을 통해 자신 및 가족의 삶의 질을 향상시켜 나간다. 본 연구는 발달장애를 돌보는 중년기 어머니들의 양육경험과 우울증의 상관관계에 있어 어머니의 자기자비와 중년기의 신체 및 심리적 특성에 대한 자기이해가 어떠한 영향을 미치는가에 대해 탐색하고자 한다. 연구수행에 필요한 자료 수집을 서울, 경기를 포함한 전국에 사는 발달장애 중년기 어머니 700명을 대상으로 하며, 자료는 SPSS PC+ Ver 28을 활용하여 빈도분석과 주요 변수에 대한 기술통계를 실시하고, 변인 간 상관관계, 회귀분석을 실행한다. 본 연구의 의의는 발달장애인 자녀를 돌보는 어머니의 양육 스트레스를 줄이고 건강한 가족회복을 위해 어머니의 자존감을 향상시킬 수 있는 자기자비의 역할과 중년기에 대한 자기이해를 강화하도록 도울 수 있는 장애인 가족지원 정책 및 사회 서비스 개발에 기여하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study was to exam the Influence of a disability-awareness program at creativity innovation development activities and early morning classes on elementary school students' perception and attitudes toward students with disabilities in Kyunggi-do and Inchon. A total of 28 3rd grade students and 32 5rd without disabilities in the one classrooms of elementary school were selected. Differences in results were analyzed by t-test. There was a statistically significant difference between pre-test and post-test in the disability awareness and acceptance attitude. Based on theses results, the researcher suggested some ideas about how improve students' disability-awareness and acceptance attitude toward disabilities and develop the better inclusive environment.

The purpose of this study is to suggest how to improve the public library service for the disabled, by analyzing stakeholders' needs for it. To this end, it analyzed stakeholders' needs, by conducting an analysis on the current condition of the public library service for the disabled, and IPA on and FGI with the disabled, beneficiaries of the service and service provides, employees in charge of it. The findings show that the current condition of the public library service for the disabled is very poor in terms of disabled users, budget for the service for the disabled and special data for the disabled. For the analysis on the needs for the service for the disabled, the results of IPA suggest that it is necessary to improve relevant policies and manage integrated programs reflecting users' needs, and those of FGI indicate that perceptions on disability need to be improved among the disabled, the non-disabled and employees, and that the usage guidance and publicity are required for disabled users to generally use the public library service.

In this study, the effect of gamified disability awareness program was researched to examine its potential to be used as a disability awareness curriculum particular to Korean schools. The gamified program consisted of lessons related to disability skiing such as learning about Paralympic skier, experiencing mono skis, and participating in cooperative games. To examine its effectiveness, Multidimensional Attitudes Scale towards persons with disabilities (MAS) was used. Results indicate that the attitude of the experiment group showed significant change.

This Study used phenomenological research method to understand disability acceptance and recovery experience for the life care of adolescents with disabilities. As a result, the study found four components: confusion and psychological anxiety due to disability, gradually accepting disability, strengthening motivation for recovery, overcoming disability, and returning to society. Psychological comfort was obtained through the support of the family and the psychological rapport between the therapists. The Youths with disabilities experienced a change in their perceptions of disability and hoped for life after discharge, overcoming frustration and showing their positive future. Based on the results of this study, we were able to understand the disability acceptance and recovery experience of adolescents with disabilities and identify the components of acceptance and recovery. The derived components can be used to guide disability acceptance and recovery interventions for the care of youth with disabilities.

수면은 우리 삶의 많은 부분을 차지하는 중요한 삶의 영역이다. 그러나 여러 가지 원인으로 인하여 많은 현대인들이 수면의 즐거움을 제대로 누리지 못하고 있다. 미국의 경우 수면 장애에 의한 졸리움증으로 생기는 사회적ㆍ개인적 손실의 규모를 연간 약 150억 달러로 추정하고 있을 정도다. 우리나라 성인 중에 수면 장애의 하나인 불면증을 경험한 사람의 비율은 73.4%나 될 정도로 광범위하게 나타나고 있지만 정작 그 해결책을 찾지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 수면장애에는 크게 불면증을 보이는 수면 장애, 낮에 과도한 졸리움을 일으키는 수면 장애, 자다가 이상한 행동을 보이는 수면 장애로 구분되어지는데 우리가 일상에서 인식하는 수면 장애는 불면증 정도로 그치는 것이 일반적이다. 더욱이 이러한 수면 장애를 해결하는 방법의 이해 부족으로 수면제나 담배, 술 등에 의존하기 쉽고 단순히 잠을 자야 한다는 강박관념에 시달려 오히려 증상을 악화시키는 경우가 많다. 그러나 수면 장애를 올바르게 이해하고 있다면 그 해결 방안은 의외로 간단하다. 우리의 몸속에 있는 생체 시계의 주기를 규칙적으로 맞추어 가는 것이 중요하다. 또한 수면은 신체적인 요소보다는 정신적인 요소가 많이 작용하기 때문에 무엇보다도 편안한 마음가짐과 무의식적인 수면 유도가 필요하다. During the past decade, interest in and knowledge of eating disorders have increased in the medical, social science, and popular literature. Despite this advance in this field, eating disorders in males have received relatively little attention in the literature. However, in recent years, there has been increased awareness that eating disorders occurs in males, as well as females, although research and theoretical discussions concerning this subgroup still remain scare. In this review, the author highlights the clinical characteristics that distinguish male patients with eating disorders from their female counterparts. The identification of such characteristics will improve diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders in males and may increase our understanding of processes that are specific to eating disorders in both sexes.

성대의 마비는 그 원인과 정도에 따라 애성, 연하장애, 호흡장애 등 다양한 기능 결손을 초래하게 되므로, 마비된 성대에 의한 불편을 외과적으로 처치하기 이전에 반드시 마비의 원인에 대한 이해와, 환자의 불편에 대한 정확한 이해가 선행되어야만 적합한 술식을 선택할 수 있다. 예를 들어 두개저수술의 합병증으로 갑자기 발생된 성대마비와 갑상선암에 의하여 서서히 진행된 성대마비의 경우 그 예후나 경과가 전혀 다른 질환이라 할 수 있기 때문이다. (중략)
