The purpose of this paper is to understand some methods to provide women's shoes and their design images from the 1920s to the 1940s, and to benefit from the new methods for creative design and new materials in the future. It also examined the features with the academic background of women's shoes. To target on analysis items and shoes design factors, moreover, it made reference to the paper by former research. As a result, 28 shoes (30.04%) in the 1920s, 47 shoes(51.09%) in the 1930s, and 17 shoes (18.47%) in the 1940s have been collected. The strap shoes, combination color, bright texture, and buckle trimmings are first on the list. The most popular shoes were pumps and strap, in terms of design and shape. In particular, black was one of the common and popular colors. Most of the shoes had buckles. Texture also was brilliant. This study was meaningful to provide understanding and information about a variety of women's shoes designs from the 1920s to the 1930s.

This article is to study the ancient Korean make-up based on ancient men's and women's facial decoration. The adornment is mainly about make-up, but I didn't employ make-up in this article on the ground that it isn't an appropriate concept in men's case. The study on the ancient Korean make-up has been conducted on the basis of Goguryeo mural paintings excavated in the tombs. Contrary to the Baekje and the Silla Kingdoms, Goguryeo women's make-up carne to fashion like China. The Goguryeo mural paintings depicted women's make-up which painted their faces white and lined on the eyebrows to make them raise toward their foreheads after removing their own eyebrows. They outlined their mouths smaller than their own and, in some occasions, applied make-up differently on the upper lip and the lower lip. As the time passed by, women applied the blusher, which attests to the fact that make-up of those days was considerably developed. Unlike women, men didn't put on cosmetics but they grew beard as a symbol of adults. The beard had a diversity in shape such as goat-shaped and fan-shaped beards. It can be understood that women's make-up was applied as a manifestation of adults like men's growing beards.

The purpose of this study is to analyze characteristic interior spaces for TV news center studio. Based on eight channels including public and comprehensive programming broadcasting stations the method for this research is to make differentiate existing relevant literature by creating analysis items for interior spaces through various case studies as well as find out characteristics of spatial forms, colors, materials, decorations, and etc. The conclusions are as follows. Firstly, spatial form of desk and ceiling are similar shapes but floor and wall are different comparing with public and comprehensive programming broadcasting stations. Secondly, preferred color for floor and ceiling is black, for wall and desk are blue and gray. Thirdly, various materials are preferred between public and comprehensive programming broadcasting stations. Fourthly, Flat and elevated floors are preferred as well as space and logos of broadcasting station are preferred for background images as decoration elements. Lastly, Soffit ceiling, desk accommodating more than 4 people, spotlight for public broadcasting stations, and architectural lighting for comprehensive programming broadcasting stations are preferred.

본 논문은 현대장신구속에 나타난 미니멀리즘의 성향을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 장신구의 특성을 파악하고, 이들 장신구속에 나타난 미니멀리즘의 개념적, 형태적 그리고 조형적 성향을 연구하였다. 미니멀 아트는 시각적 단순함을 선호하는 사람들에게 새로운 감흥을 주었고, 이는 '장식'에 치중해 왔던 기존의 디자인의 개념을 변화시키는 데에 많은 영향을 주었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 미니멀리즘의 특성과 장신구에서 나타나는 미니멀리즘의 성향을 파악하고, 이를 활용한 다양한 디자인의 개발에 도움이 되고자 한다.

This study focuses on the medieval Mongol costume called YosunOja. This dress consists of a blouse and a skirt, and some lines on the waist part. The purpose of the study is to analyse the structural characteristics of this costume, especially on the medieval remains from the tomb Mingshui in the district of Neimenggu. It can be analysed that this costume has three structural characteristics, which are the functional structure, sumptuous one, and the idea of Buddhism. The functional structure consists of the style with a blouse and a skirt, which gives enough surplus for the movement, the back-slash for the ease of the riding, and the dart in the front line which eliminates unnecessary surplus. The sumptuous structure is the many lines of the waist which show the maximization of the decoration, the extraordinary long sleeves, and the use of the expensive gold brocade which shows the wealth of the dresser. And also, the cutting of the fabric into the numerous segment may mean the medieval Mongols believed in Buddhism.

최근의 현대 건축에서는 재료의 물성과 구축성이 두드러지는 프로젝트를 많이 발견할 수 있다. 이러한 경향의 배경에는 사양한 요인들이 있을 수 있다. 그 중에서도 공간성(性)에 대한 근본적이고 회귀가 중요한 바탕이라고 할 수 있다. 피터 줌터의 건축은 현란한 조형적 효과, 표현만을 위한 기술적 장식을 사용하지 않는다. 대신 그의 건축은 장소와의 관계, 문화적 context 상에서의 맥락, 그리고 공간의 근원적인 경험을 주요한 매체로 사용한다. 그리고 이러한 특수성은 대체적으로 빛과 재료의 고유한 적용으로 나타난다. 이는 장소와 문화의 특성을 관습적인 형태나 화려한 표현으로 재현하는 것이 아니라 '공간감'의 구현으로 구축하는 방식이다. 본 논문은 피터 줌터의 건축에 나타나는 빛과 재료의 구축 방식, 그리고 공간의 경험에 대하여 살펴본다. 그의 건축 구축 방식은 일견 간단해 보일 수도 있으나 실제로는 프로젝트마다 고유한 빛과 재료의 적용과 텍토닉(tectonic)이 내재되어 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 이러한 점들을 자세히 살펴보고 그러한 구축방식이 궁극적으로 어떻게 공간의 경험과 관계를 하는지 고찰하는 것에 있다. 구체적인 사례는 Bruder Klaus Chapel과 Kolumba Museum으로 한정된다. 프로그램은 다르지만 빛을 사용하여 관람자의 공간경험과 공간인지가 어떻게 형성되는지를 다루면서 결론 맺는다.

This subject is about the study on digital contents development of traditional Korean furniture to find our traditional peculiarity that is disappearing gradually in the rapid computerization. In order to carry out this subject, we established some methodology to industrialize the culture, the style, the manufacturing process and the configuration details of traditional furniture in the form of digital contents with reference to books regarding the furniture in Chosun Dynasty and furniture collection in possession of museum, gallery, etc. This study made a database about traditional Korean furniture systematically to be used as basic materials that are available for diverse culture business as a whole with Korean identity in the future. The contents of this study are as follows: 1) Style of traditional furniture 2) Decoration of traditional furniture 3) Manufacturing process of traditional furniture 4) Configuration details of traditional furniture The contents work of traditional Korean furniture was to secure the identity of Korean furniture from the point of culture and to provide an alternative of modernization by re-illuminating the superiority of traditional furniture in discontinuation from the point of industry.

This study aims to investigate the socio-cultural background of Poulaines, which influenced fashion and contemporary shoe design. Analyzing the characteristics of the Poulaines provided basic data for different shoes. The study method utilized previous studies to explore the concept and characteristics of Poulaines. In the empirical analysis, shoe design data mainly came from collections that illustrate formative elements of contemporary shoe design from the 2010 S/S season to the 2020 S/S season. A total of 709 photo materials were collected and analyzed. The results showed that the morphological characteristics of Poulaines were exaggerated to symbolize classes of the past and sexual expression. The expanding structure was divided into the fore nose, heel, and top-line and featured a design that expressed the formative beauty of Poulaines. Additionally, the decorative desire to represent wealth and class using various materials introduced new designs into contemporary shoe designs while showing extreme decorativeness through over-trimming and color contrast. Furthermore, the heterogeneous characteristics that come from the change and harmony of the shoes' body and heel that deviated from the existing shoe shapes were classified into the dissolution of shapes and mixing and matching. Thus, they broke the monotonous silhouette of shoes and gave variety delicately.

예술을 논함에 있어 '과학의 진보'와 '인간의 정서'라는 두 가지 문제의 상충은 끊임없이 대두되었다. 과학의 편리성, 그 이면에 존재하는 인간본연의 감성인 '자연'은 점차 크게 자리잡아갔다. 20세기말부터 성행하던 다소 삭막하게 느껴지는 미니멀리즘을 벗어나 점점 인간과 자연이 하나가 될 수 있는 자연주의가 강조되었고, '자연'은 21세기를 살아가는 우리에게 주어진 가장 중요한 화두로 떠올랐다. 기계와 과학에 의해 삶이 양적으로 향상되어질수록, 삶의 질을 향상시키고자 하는 '자연'에 대한 향수가 인간에게 더욱 절실하게 되었다. 이에 '자연'을 좀 더 효과적으로 나타내고자 아르누보양식의 표현요소를 도입하여, '자연'을 현대적으로 표현한 조형적 특성을 연구하였다. 아르누보는 자연물의 유기적인 형태로부터 모티브를 찾아 이것을 양식화하여 장식미술로 적용하였다. 이는 과거의 양식에서 인용과 절충을 반복하는, 역사주의적 전통을 과감히 개혁함으로써 현대디자인의 문을 열었고, 더불어 미술을 모든 생활에 실용화하려는 점에서 커다란 역사적 의미를 갖는 양식이다. 신예술을 의미하는, 19세기말부터 20세기 초에 걸쳐 번성했던 아르누보는 한 세기가 지난 현재에 와서 재평가되고 수용되어 다양하고 새롭게 나타나고 있다. '자연주의'를 근본으로 하는 아르누보 양식은 현대에 오면서 내추럴리즘이 주류를 이루고, 여성스런 로맨티시즘이 유행하면서 패션, 가구, 유리 공예, 보석 공예 등의 다양한 장르의 예술에서 모티브로 부활하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 아르누보에서 나타난 식물모티브를 적용한 다양한 분야의 아르누보작가들의 작품을 중심으로 형태적 요소와 표현요소의 특성을 다양하게 해석하고, 이를 바탕으로 나타난 공통된 조형미를 분석하고자하였다. 아르누보양식에서 나타나는 섬세하고 화려한 곡선의 장식미와 형태의 부드럽고 유려한 곡선표현의 효과적인 디자인적용가능성을 살펴보고, 이를 통해 창의적으로 분석된 조형이미지로의 아르누보 식물모티브를 디자인에 새롭게 시도하는 계기가 되고자 한다.

우리나라의 전통주는 막걸리 붐 이후 주춤한 발전을 보이고 있으며, 이에 따라 전통주의 특성을 반영한 술잔을 활용한 명품화 및 세계화 전략을 통한 도약이 필요한 시점이다. 현재까지 우리나라의 전통주 술잔 디자인 개발은 심미성 및 유통 편의성에만 초점을 맞추거나, 디자인 개발의 세분화 고급화 연구화 등의 일시적 발전양상을 보여오긴 하였으나, 전통주의 특성을 기획 단계부터 반영하여 상품화한 사례나 프로세스는 없었다. 따라서 전통주의 특성을 반영한 술잔 디자인 설계 프로세스 기술 수립하는 것이 필요한 상황이다. 본 연구는 전통주의 특성을 감성요소인 오감과 스토리텔링으로 나누어 분석하고, 이들 중 술잔 디자인에 필요한 요소들을 추출하고, 이를 기반으로 전통주 술잔의 형태 소재 같은 시각화하는 관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 이러한 요소 중, 특히 대상 전통주가 갖고 있는 역사나 설화와 같은 스토리텔링을 기반으로 한 술잔의 라벨, 문양, 장식적 요소 등 디자인을 결정하여 해당 전통주의 상품성을 극대화할 수 있는 요소들을 도출할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과는 기존 소규모 가양주의 수출이 주춤하고 있는 상황에서 감성요소와 스토리텔링이 있는 전통주의 특성을 살려 경쟁력 있는 술잔 디자인을 개발함으로써 새로운 수출전략을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
