The study about 'receptive appreciation' of Chinese classic literature (중국(中國) 고전문학(古典文學)의 '수용적 감상'에 관한 소고(小考))

  • This thesis investigates characteristics and factors of 'receptive appreciation' which leads Chinese classic literature to high level. Receptive appreciation is literally appreciation method that appreciator accepts literary work in his position. In other words, it is to internalize literary work and to elicit his feeing. This receptive appreciation has two characteristics. One is that appreciator's feeling varies according to his circumstances and personality, the other is that the value of literary work is rediscovered by appreciator. Variation is the meaningful factor of literary work and know-how that literary work is called classic. Appreciator must have some conditions for receptive appreciation ideally. Writer's values reflected in the literary work, understanding of historical background, excellent eye supported by appreciator's various experience, comprehensive and neutral thinking are important premises. This study about receptive appreciation of Chinese classic literary work helps that appreciators have eyes for it.

Design and Evaluation of Multisensory Interactions to Improve Artwork Appreciation Accessibility for the Visually Impaired People (시각장애인의 미술 작품 감상 접근성을 높이는 다중감각 인터랙션의 설계 및 평가)

  • This study suggests multisensory interaction techniques to help visually impaired people appreciate and understand artworks through non-visual senses such as tactile, auditory, and olfactory senses. A user study was conducted on the basis of a qualitative interview about the experience of appreciating artwork through the multisensory interaction system to visually impaired people so as to verify the development of the interaction techniques. The user test shows that the multisensory interactions in artwork generally not only help them appreciate and understand it but also give them satisfaction through artwork appreciation. However, it also indicates that some multisensory interactions caused the visually impaired people confusion and could not be perceived during the appreciation. On the basis of these outcomes, implications in this study are as follows. This study has contributed to providing specific development guidelines and indicators of non-visual multisensory interactions as a technical alternative to improve accessibility to cultural and artistic activities for the visually impaired. Furthermore, this study is expected to contribute to building a technical background, which can provide comprehensive sensory experiences with not only blind people but also non-blind people such as children and the elderly through universal interaction techniques beyond existing visual-oriented fragmentary experience.

  • 본 연구는 환경예술운동의 선구자격이며 가장 대표적인 작가로 평가되는 로버트 스미슨의 작품에 대한 연구를 통해 그의 경관미학의 개념화에 대하여 고찰해 보고자 하였으며 궁극적으로 본 연구가 환경예술운동이 현대 조경설계에 미친 영향에 대한 기초 연구라는데 본 논문의 의의를 찾고자 한다. 스미슨의 작품이 조경에서 다루는 경관의 여러 가지 관점을 다루었으며, la국을 중심으로 조경설계에서 공간의 시각적 표현을 시도한 몇몇 조경설계가의 작품배경 또한 환경예술로 불리어지는 일련의 작품군과 작가의 주장에 많은 영향을 받았음에도 불구하고 그의 작품이 조경분야에서 연구의 대상으로 활발하게 다루어지지 못한 것도 사실이다. 본 연구에서는 스미슨의 경관미학의 개념화를 그의 작품을 통해 살펴보았으며, 스미슨의 작품과 조경설계와의 연관성, 그리고 현대 조경설계에 미친 스미슨의 공헌등을 조명해 보았다. 스미슨의 초기작품들은 개발로 인한 환경 및 경관의 남용 혹은 황폐화에 대한 비평적인 관점을 예술적 형태로 묘사한 반면, 후기 작품들에서는 환경 및 경관에 대한 예술적인 조작에 긍정적인 가치를 부여하고자 한 것이었다. 스미슨의 작품이 현대 조경에 미친 가장 큰 공헌은 무엇보다도 경관 및 환경의 변화에 영향을 미치는 수단으로서 예술을 활용했다는 것일 것이다. 환경예술가들의 주장과 그들의 작품이 현대 조경설계에 구체적으로 어떻게 형상화되었는지에 대한 연구는 앞으로 규명되어야 할 부분이라고 판단된다.

  • This study suggests art makeup design by utilizing the characteristics of psychedelic works. The study analyzed the concept of being psychedelic and art makeup based on precedent studies and publications, and classified the psychedelic characteristics as being those of mysterious, optical illusions, and playfulness. After selecting the work featuring the characteristics of being psychedelic, six works were created with this motif, by integrating the airbrush, the pictorial, and the object techniques of the art makeup expression techniques. As a result, it was demonstrated that the design that has utilized the characteristics of psychedelic works could be applicable to art makeup. Next, the confluence of art works and art makeup can serve as an approach to drawing creative designs. Thus, this study suggests a direction for extending the creativity and variety of art makeup design, and a continued development for art makeup design by further confluences with various areas is expected

  • This paper derives the mutual relationship between film and installation art through specific case studies about the point of the intersection of the two genres. It needs to find the relationship between art painting and photography and the relationship of silent film and the relevance of the work of art in the 1920s. After painting over the installation exploring the relationship of art and through the mise en scene of the film, ie, the screen image of the configuration and deployment, or cinematic work of art for the film can be found in the application of practices. First, in Chapter 2, this study works of art practices through the analysis of film and the interaction between the two genres based practices for secure sex. In Chapter 3 the movie 'Wonderful Life' and installation art work "hand memory" through the analysis of the two cases specifically for the point of intersection analysis. 'Wonderful Life' and 'hand' Remember each subject and conceptual work in terms of 'memory' that it is represented on similar, but, film and installation art genre caused by the difference in the way the media represented by the results of the different forms of otherwise appear. If so, this study film and installation art practices through the comparison of cases to derive mutual relationship by analyzing two cases in detail what each of the different looks at whether any similarity in that.

The 'Fantastic' in the René Laloux's movie (<죽은 시간들(Les Temps Morts), 르네 랄루(René Laloux) 작, 1964>의 환상성)

  • This research aims at showing specificity of the 'fantastic' in the movie < Les temps morts (on 1964) > directed by Ren$\acute{e}$ Laloux (1929-2004 ), all over the world recognized director. This movie has a particular style by composing four forms of expression: the real recording (movie), the recording embellishes with images by image (animation), the drawing, the photo. This film is the most strange among his all films. Even if we could catch the key meaning of the film, it offer for the audience the sentiment incertain and unclear. If we consider 'the fantastic' as a hesitation between the real and the unreal, in diverse levels, this movie offers to the spectators the fantastic feelings. In order to present the way this film shows us the fantastic, we divide the film into 15 sequences according to the criteria of the visual elements and the auditive elements. We analyze specificities of this fantastic in diverse levels. At first, the first style of the drawing of Roland Topor, does not let us escape easily from the feeling of fantasy. The four representation formats(drawing, photo, animation, movie) are integrated into one whole by auditive elements(music, narration). On the other hand, certain parts incomprehensible are not integrated into the entire. are fully integrated into the unity that does not understand that part, leaving them can. Laloux leads the audience into a reality toward the end of the film, but he leave incertain sequences at the last moment. Through which the audience is again hesitant between the real and the unreal, the fantastic is strengthened as a result of the work. Finally, the fantastic of the film could be found at three levels. First, the fantastic drawing style of Roland Topor. In the second place, the fantastic exposed through the entire composition and structure of work. Overall, these by leaving through the availability of the story incomprehensible to the audience is to provide a fantastic sentiment.

  • 대체 불가능한 토큰을 의미하는 NFT 는 블록 체인 기반 기술 중 하나로 소유권과 거래 이력이 블록 체인에 기록이 된다는 장점을 지녀 미술 작품 거래에도 활발히 활용되고 있다. 하지만 현재 NFT 작품 거래 시장은 주식거래와 같이 회전율과 거래량을 중점으로 투기성이 짙으며, 작품의 섬네일 이미지만으로 거래 의사를 판단하는 경우가 많다는 문제점이 대두되고 있다. 따라서 작품의 다양한 특성에 대한 고려가 함께 이루어질 필요가 있다. 본 논문은 작품의 다양한 변수를 수집하여 최적의 변수 조합을 찾아내고, 이미지 전이 학습과 생성 알고리즘을 활용해 다양한 변수가 가격에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 했다. 연구 결과 이미지 만을 활용한 가격 예측은 정확도가 높지 않다는 사실을 확인하였고 작품이 가진 여러 특성을 변수로 한 정형 데이터의 가격 예측 정확도가 더 높은 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 생성 알고리즘을 통해 새로운 특성 조합의 작품들을 만들었고 가격을 수치 예측해보았다. 이를 실제 작가의 작품의 가격과 가격의 변동 추이를 대조해 작가의 작품 판매 가격 평균치 이상인 작품의 특성을 확인할 수 있었다.

A Study on Eva Armisen's Artworks -Focused on Beauty of Universality, Deterritorialization of Art and Design- (에바 알머슨 작품 연구 -보편성의 미, 미술과 디자인의 탈경계를 중심으로-)

  • In the 21st century, the phenomenon of interaction in between fine art and design has become more increasingly prevalent. In this paper, the author has analyzed the major works of Spanish artist Eva $Armis{\dot{e}}n$ on a cultural criticism perspective, and has proposed a framework for a deeper understating of the artworks, which reflected the characteristics of contemporary art and culture such as deterritorialization of art and design. As a result, it has been found that the main theme of her artworks is about preferred attitude of a human being in relationship with others, unlike daily lives or innocence of childhood which are well-known subjects to the public. Her main female character could have been formed by blending all of her aesthetic reason, and characteristics of this era and cultural elements. It means that the area where the public enjoys the sense of beauty have been extending from the area of the beautiful to the beauty of universality. It has been found that deterriorialization phenomena, which is a characteristic of post-modern art and design work to dismantle an existing order, the repression, appeared in her work. However, several research areas of her works such as relationship between text and image or formative elements or aphorism etc. still have remained to be solved.

A Language Semantic Analysis Shown at the Title (타이틀(제목)에서 나타난 언어 의미 분석)

  • This study tried to analyze symbolism of the work from the title by looking into its linguistic meaning. The title not only exposes artist's thoughts but also speaks for the work subject. Also, it designates the world composed of characters in the work, and further it can be said as endowing overall meaning on the entire work by suggesting possibility of limitless meaning invention as well. As a result of reviewing the symbolism shown at the title after analyzing such points through linguistic contexts, the title named with Adam's language was used for just expressing the essence of characters in the work by transcending time and space, and the title meaning exposed relational aspects between characters and occurred accidents through the association process on 'signifiant' and 'signifie.' These relational aspects are expressed to mutual contraposition, but their relations finally show another one orientation too. In case of the title made by the arbitrary nature of language, a fact could be known that it was results of customs completely unrelated with the practical work and depended on the experience by any accident as being appeared from cultural background of the country where the work was produced. Also, the signification of language occurred in unique regulations and systems, and it was relevant to seeing things through concepts. The proper noun was disappeared, and the symbolism was given again from relational aspects accordingly. It was turn out that similarity between the work and title contained contents of entire work, and played a role of expressing greed in the narrative briefly.

  • 실험 애니메이션의 성격을 지닌 스톱모션 애니메이션의 장르로서 상업성 애니메이션과 기존의 영화 애니메이션에서 탈피하여 작품성과 앞으로 개척해야 할 우리 애니메이션 학계의 당면 상황을 인식하고 작품제작에 중점을 두고 있다. 이 작품은 나의 길이라는 주제로 개인의 인생을 축으로 내가 살아온 과거와 현재 다가올 미래의 불확실성을 컨셉으로 하여 애니메이션을 전공하는 학생과 대중에게 쉽게 다가설 수 있는 있도록 하였다. 표현기법은 앞서 말한 바와 같이 스톱모션 방식으로 재즈와 모던 클래식을 바탕으로 큐시트 하였으며, 창의적인 상황에 부합되는 소싱(Sourcing)과 싱크(Sync)로 믹싱(Mixing) 작업을 하여 현대적이면서 감각적인 면을 강조하는 등 표현재료는 콘테와 색연필을 사용하여 애니메이션이 한 컷 한 컷의 작품이라는 예술의 개념적 문제에 접근 일러스트로 작품화하였다. 작품 내용으로는 객관적 세계에 대한 인식의 문제를 이야기하고 다양한 입장과 생각을 표현하였으며 또는 주체가 바라보는 대상을 통해 그 주체를 묘사하기도 한다. 따라서 대상에 비중을 두는가 하면 보는 주체에 비중을 두기도 하였다. 인간 개인이 걸어온 발자취를 형상화시켜 재해석하였으며, 이 작품을 통해 자신의 삶을 직${\cdot}$간접적으로 재해석하며, 관객이 자신을 되돌아볼 수 있고 미래를 직시하도록 꾸몄다.
