Analysis of Work Postures of Fire Fighters (소방대원들의 작업자세 분석)

  • 본 연구는 소방대원의 현장 작업자세 평가와 분석을 통하여 소방대원의 근골격계 부담작업 유해요인을 분석하고자 한다. B시에 소재하고 있는 소방서의 남자 소방대원을 대상으로 소방 현장에서 많이하는 자세 중 요구조자 이송작업자세, 방수작업자세, 유압구조장비 작업자세, 만능도끼작업 자세를 인간공학적 평가 기법인 Rapid Entire Body Assessment(REBA), Rapid Upper Limb Assessment(RULA)와 NIOSH Lifting Equation(NLE)를 이용하여 평가하고 분석하였다. 자세 분석결과, RULA 분석에서 모든 작업이 최고 점수인 7점으로 평가되었고 REBA는 5점에서 10점까지로 RULA분석에 비하여 낮은 점수를 나타내었다. 따라서, 소방대원들의 작업환경과 자세에 문제가 많다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

인간공학 기술을 이용한 예부선 선원의 해상 작업안전 분석

  • 본 연구는 예부선 선원이 해상작업 시 발생할 수 있는 근골격계 부담 작업의 위험성을 평가 하기 위해 실행되었다. 근골격계 부담 작업은 예부선 선원들의 인터뷰, 작업 분석, 작업 자세 평가를 통해 분석을 통해 분석이 되었으며, 도출된 근골격계 부담 작업은 인간공학 분야에서 작업자세 평가 도구인 OWAS, RULA, REBA를 활용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 분석을 위해 국내 해운선사에서 운용중인 예선 A호와 부선 B호에서 작업을 하는 예부선 선원들의 각종 작업을 분석하였으며 해당 작업들은 근골격계 위험 수준인 3수준 이상으로 해당 작업이 근골격계에 부담되는 작업이며 작업자세 교정이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 예부선 작업환경의 위험성이 외부환경에 대한 위협뿐만 아니라 작업자의 작업자세가 장기적인 위협을 보이고 있음을 보여주었다.

  • 본 연구는 예부선 선원이 해상작업 시 발생할 수 있는 근골격계 부담 작업의 위험성을 평가 하기위해 실행되었다. 근골격계 부담 작업은 예부선 선원들의 인터뷰, 작업 분석, 자세 평가를 통해 분석을 통해 분석이 되었으며, 도출된 근골격계 부담 작업은 인간공학 분야에서 작업자세 평가 도구인 OWAS, REBA를 활용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 분석을 위해 오일 탱커 부선에서 작업을 하는 예부선 선원들의 송유관 체결 작업과 모선과 접안을 위한 줄 잡기 작업을 분석하였으며 해당 작업들은 OWAS 점수 3점과 REBA 점수 9점 이상으로 해당 작업이 근골격계에 부담되는 작업이며 작업자세 교정이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 예부선 작업환경의 위험성이 외부환경에 대한 위협뿐만 아니라 작업자의 작업자세가 장기적인 위협을 보이고 있음을 보여주었다.

Comparison of Three Ergonomic Risk Assessment Methods (OWAS, RULA, and REB A) in Felling and Delimbing Operations (벌도 및 가지제거작업에서 세 가지 인간공학적 위험 평가기법의 비교분석)

  • Musculoskeletal disorders affect workers' safety in most industries, and forest operations are classified as a musculoskeletal burden according to the Occupational Safety and Health Act in South Korea. In particular, felling and delimbing operations are mainly conducted by manpower, and then, it is necessary to evaluate ergonomic risk assessment for safety of felling and delimbing workers. Three ergonomic risk assessment methods, such as Ovako Working posture Analysis System (OWAS), Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), are available for assessing exposure to risk factors associated with timber harvesting operations. Here, three ergonomic risk assessment methods were applied to examine ergonomic risk assessments in chainsaw felling and delimbing operations. Additionally, exposure to risk factors in each method was analyzed to propose an optimal working posture in felling and delimbing operations. The risk levels of these operations were evaluated to be highest in the RULA method, followed by the OWAS and REBA methods, and most of the exposed working postures were examined with a low-risk level of two and three without requiring any immediate working posture changes. However, two significant working postures, including the bending posture of the waist and leg in felling operation and standing posture on the fallen trees in delimbing operation, were assessed as the high-risk level and needed immediate working posture changes. Low-risk work levels were examined in the squatting posture for felling operation and the straightened posture of the waist and leg for delimbing operation. Moreover, the slope in felling operation and the tree height in delimbing operation significantly affected risk level assessment of working posture. Therefore, our study supports that felling and delimbing workers must operate with low-risk working postures for safety.

Postural Risk Assessment of Weed and Kudzu Removal Operations (숲가꾸기를 위한 풀베기와 칡덩굴제거작업의 근골격계 부담 분석)

  • A forest operation is considered as one of the riskiest environments for the development of musculoskeletal disorders because operators are exposed to harmful environmental conditions such as rough terrain, inclement weather, and poor working postures. In weed and kudzu removal operations, manual application is still common in Korea. In this study, we evaluated the ergonomic conditions of weed and kudzu removal in regeneration forests and the associated risk of musculoskeletal disorders. The risk of musculoskeletal disorders was evaluated using the Ovako Working Posture Analysis System and postural risk index. Postural risk was significantly higher for kudzu compared with weed removal operations. This suggests that kudzu removal operations must be improved to decrease postural risk.

Analysis of Working Posture Using OWAS in Forest Work (산림작업(山林作業)에서 OWAS기법(技法)을 이용(利用)한 작업자세(作業姿勢) 분석(分析))

  • In forestry, where improvement of labor environment is quite impossible, improved posture would result in direct effects by preventing waste of physical strength, prevention of accidental injury caused by fatigue accumulated on certain body parts, and prevention of human error by inattentiveness due to weakened body. Therefore, this research carried on analysis of working posture in manual forest work(thinning using chain-saw, salvage cutting using chain-saw, clearing using hand saw, clearance of twiner using sickle, pruning using saw with a long handle, and tending of young growth using sickle) using OWAS analysis system. According to the OWAS method, percentage of OWAS action categories III and IV in the tasks using chain-saw and sickle was higher than another tasks. For the compared middle skillful worker group and low skillful worker group at felling work using chain-saw, percentage of OWAS action categories IV in middle skillful worker group was 5.1%, and low skillful worker group was 14.1%.

상자 들기 작업시 자세 및 손잡이 형태가 발휘근력에 미치는 영향

  • 자동화된 생산시설에도 불구하고, 아직도 여러 현장에는 사람이 직접 bag, box, carton 등을 들고, 내리고, 옮기는 등의 인력운반 (Manual Materials Handling, MMH) 작업으로 생산활동이 이루어지고 있다. 상자 운반 작업에서 있어서 손잡이는 최대허용무게에 영향을 미친다는 연구 결과들이 많이 나왔지만, 자세에 따른 손잡이 형태의 영향에 관한 연구들은 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 MMH 작업시 흔히 사용되는 3가지 자세(구부린 자세, 팔을 편 자세, 팔을 90$^{\circ}$로 굽혔을 때 자세)에서 손잡이 형태에 따라 tote box를 들 때, 작업자세와 손잡이 형태에 따른 Maximum Voluntary Contraction (이하 MVC)를 측정하고 MVC에 대한 작업자세와 손잡이 형태의 상관관계의 통계적 분석, 주관적 평가방법(Borg법)과 MVC와의 유의성을 검증하였다.

  • Explosive blasting performance is composed of charging, tamping and connecting performance, which need lots of power and time. Thus, operator's inconvenience and muscle load are increased by their pose. Then it's unavoidable for one to make a human error. As a result, blasting accidents and disasters of explosives may happen. So we need to have systematic study. According to their pose's changing we have OWAS, RULA, REBA, OSHA, ISI, NLE, TVAV, BLUE-X. In this article, OWAS, RULA, REBA have been evaluated. As a result of this research, it is shown that work-related musciloskeletal disorders are related to the second accident's happening.

  • Recently, work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) become a hot issue in the industrial fields. To prevent the potential risk of workers, various approaches have been adopted. One of the approaches is to improve the design of product, that of jig (or fixture) and that of workstation in the early stage of the development. 3D simulation technology is known as the powerful method for detecting such problems before constructing the workstation, because it is possible to evaluate the posture of worker using 3D models in a cyber space. It enables to find the unexpected problems and save the time and cost for redesign and rework. This paper introduces a 3D simulation case study of workers in an excavator factory. 3D models of products, jigs were developed with CATIA. The assembly processes were animated in IGRIP and DPM. Finally the various postures of worker were simulated using Human. As a result, some postures were analysed as the risky jobs and the result of simulation was used to improve the system.

선박교통관제 환경의 인간공학적 평가

  • 관제대상 선박의 다양화, 대형화, 교통 흐름의 다변화 등으로 인해 관제 업무의 중요성이 더욱 강조되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 관제사의 업무부하 요인을 운영체제, 관제사, 물리적 환경, 관제 시스템으로 구분하였다. 4가지 영역에 대하여 기존 연구를 분석하고, 이 중 물리적 환경에 초점을 맞추어 관제센터(부산항, 진도연안)에서 평가를 수행하였다. 조도, 소음, 전자파 그리고 작업자세에 대하여 분석을 하였다.
