Seam-line Determination in Image Mosaicking using Adaptive Cost Transform and Dynamic Programming (동적계획법과 적응 비용 변환을 이용한 영상 모자이크의 seam-line 결정)

  • A seam-line determination algorithm is proposed to determine image border-line in mosaicing using the transformation of gray value differences and dynamic programming. Since visually good border-line is the one along which pixel differences are as small as possible, it can be determined in association with an optimal path finding algorithm. A well-known effective optimal path finding algorithm is the Dynamic Programming (DP). Direct application of the dynamic programming to the seam-line determination causes the distance effect, in which seam-line is affected by its length as well as the gray value difference. In this paper, an adaptive cost transform algorithm with which the distance effect is suppressed is proposed in order to utilize the dynamic programming on the transformed pixel difference space. Also, a figure of merit which is the summation of fixed number of the biggest pixel difference on the seam-line (SFBPD) is suggested as an evaluation measure of seamlines. The performance of the proposed algorithm has been tested in both quantitively and visually on various kinds of images.

  • It's important to operate the yard for improving to the productivity in container terminal effectively. Because the automated container terminal(ACT) has storage yard of automation and horizon, it's character is different from conventional terminal. As the automation yard in ACT is operated by the automated equipments, it needs to an efficient storage plan which is connected the automated equipment, the external truck, the shipment etc.. Hut the traditional method of storage plan is the space assignment problem. The efficiency of yard decreases and it is brought about increase of shipment time, because real-time automated equipments and present yard status is not reflected in. In order to solve this problems, we propose the algorithm for real-time storage location of container considering shipment plan, yard status and the state of ATC.

  • An algebraic algorithm for predicting the joint trace distribution on the cut-face of rock slope based on the orientations and the locations of joints investigated in the borehole has been developed. Joint trace prediction is manipulated by utilizing the three dimensional plane equations of both joint planes and projection face, and the extent of trace within the projection area is calculated by considering the persistence of each joint plane. Joint trace prediction method is efficiently applied for analyzing the stability and the adequacy of support design of Gimhae Naesam cut-slope, which is structurally unstable due to slumping. Structural characteristics of rock mass is investigated by performing DOM drilling and the potential rock mass sliding inside slope face is analyzed by examining the orientations of joint planes which can induce the slope failure. Also, the efficiency of anchor support design is evaluated by considering the joint trace distribution on the anchor installation area and its sliding potential.

  • Maritime transport has been occupying the biggest part of the container transportation market. With regard to container terminal management, the planning technology and the space allocation system on the yard are very significant factors to secure the stability of ship and to ensure the reliability of schedules of ship throughout keeping barycenter of vessel by right loading and fast handling of cargoes. The purposes of this paper are to illustrate the existing yard management systems such as Grouping method and Random Grounding method, and then to evaluate and compare the efficiency of yard availability between the existing management system(Grouping method) and Random Grouping which uses the forecasted inbound cargo volume at the gate by Time Base Operation.

  • The :Ministry of Transportation and Construction has a plan to finish up the construction of digital topographic map which is based. on airphoto intepretation method by the end of 1998 as a part of NQS (National Geogaphic Information System) Project. The digital topographic map, especially 1:1,000 scale, is used as a basemap of many local government's GIS projects. The digital topographic map, however, does not include property information such as cadastral and urbanplan data that are essential for the GIS database of many local governments. This study aims to develop a set of technical guidelines for the construction of digital cadastral map, which can be used together with the 1:1,000 scale digital topographic map, through 1) analysis of the inconsistency between topographic map and cadastral map, 2) comparison of technical methods for the integration of GIS data that have different accuracy, and 3) requirement analysis of the departments related to urban planning of Seoul Metropolitan Govemment. For this research, edited digital cadastral map has been experimentally produced in pilot study area, a part of Hwanghak-dong, Shindang-dong, and Soongin-dong in Seoul.

  • 우리는 동아시아 각국(대한민국, 중국, 일본)의 VLBI관측망을 통합하고 구성될 동아시아 VLBI 관측망(East Asia VLBI Network; EAVN)의 초기 검증 작업을 진행하고 있다. EAVN은 2 ~ 129 GHz로 관측이 가능하는데, 주로 6.7, 8, 22, 43 GHz로의 관측을 상정하고 있다. 또한 최대 기선장은 약 5,000 km으로 공간분해능은 약 0.3 mas(43 GHz로의 관측의 경우)가 된다. 높은 공간분해능과 고감도의 특징을 활용하고 저광도 활동성은하핵이나 우리 은하의 메이저 천체 등의 연구에 대해서 위력을 나타낼 수가 있다. 우리는 EAVN 시험관측, 상관처리, 자료처리의 실행, 및 그것들을 통한 EAVN 운영의 검증을 하는 EAVN Tiger Team을 2013년에 조직하고 현재까지에 8 GHz 및 22 GHz로 8회의 VLBI 시험관측을 실행하였다. 상관처리는 주로 한국천문연구원에서 운영하고 있는 한일 공동상관기(KJJVC)와 상하이천문대의 소프트웨어 상관기(DiFX)로 실행되어 있다. 현재까지에 8 GHz 및 22 GHz 쌍방에서 프린지검출에 성공하고 있고, 올해는 영상합성을 포함한 과학적인 관측을 진행할 예정이다. 이 발표에서는 EAVN의 개요와 과학목표, 시험관측 현황과 결과, 및 앞으로의 운영 계획 등을 소개하겠다.

Development of Hydrographic Dredging Surveying and Construction Management System Based on Grab Dredger (그래브 준설선에 의한 해상준설측량 및 시공관리시스템의 개발)

  • In order to evaluate dredging results scientifically the system which can manage and estimate working process by monitoring dredging process in real-time needs to be constructed. We constructed real-time dredging management system for guidance of a dredging vessel and for survey of dredging construction. This system was designed to have functions of dredger location by GPS, ship direction measurement by GPS/Gyroscope combination, Grab position measurement, dredging depth measurement and correction. In addition, we developed the programs for controlling and operating the constructed system. The system could induce the vessel to accurate position and conduct dredging according to plan and the effectiveness of the system was evaluated through the results of application to actual dredging construction site.

  • This paper describes a quantitative approach to the BIM-enabled assessment of building circulation by using quantitative data and applying its weight. Assessment of building circulation plays an important role before construction stage because of related requirements regulated by design guide, building codes, etc. and design decision making as well. In this paper, Qualitative issue is mainly dealt with that are usually excluded from rule checking objects due to their implicit definition such as 'comfortable circulation'. A weighting framework is suggested using weighted data of circulation properties such as 1) metric distance, 2) number of passing spaces, 3) number of turning spaces, 4) window area of passing space, etc.

  • 오존 경보제와 예보제의 실시가 오존 오염에 관한 일반인의 관심을 증폭시키는 중요한 계기가 되었음에도 우리 연구계와 정책 당국의 대응은 이에 훨씬 못미치고 있다. 1990년 이래 학회지 관련 논문 편수는 연간 1∼3편에 그치고 있고, 다른 이차오염 현상과 달리 정책 당국은 여전히 지원을 고려하지 않고 있다. 오존 연구가 뿌리를 내리지 못한 가운데 강행된 경보제와 예보제의 와중에 책임을 떠맡은 지방자치단체는 조급하게 노련한 예보 모델을 찾고 있고 충분한 검토도 없이 외국의 사례에서 대책을 구하고 있다. 논란이 되고 있는 오존 예보의 부정확성은 모델 선택의 문제가 아니라 모델 이용이 잘못된 때문이다. 현재 오존 대책의 일환으로 검토되고 있는 차량 부제 실시와 같은 단기 대책은 역효과를 낼 수 있다는 연구결과도 있다. 선진국의 오존 연구는 도시 규모에서 지역 규모로 확대되고 있고, 구츰 등 액상반응의 효과 규명과 1 kin 이하 미세 변화 모델링이 시도되고 있고, 지구 단위 대류권 실험의 일환으로 태평양 상공의 오존과 오존 전구물질의 대기화학이 조사되고 있다. 우리는 우선 우리의 오존 문제를 정확히 이해하도록 노력하여야 한다 합리적 계획 아래 체계적으로 접근하여 갈 때 당장은 아니지만 우리의 오존에 대한 이해가 깊어갈수록 예보의 정확성은 향상될 수 있다. 많은 비용과 노력이 필요한 오존 대책의 시행은 충분히 신중하여야 한다. 서울과 같은 대도시라면 적합한 수치모델을 구비하여 효과를 점검할 수 있어야 한다. 일부에서는 예보의 정확성을 높일 수 있는 방안의 하나로 수치모델 이용을 거론하고 있으나 수치모델은 매일의 예보와 같이 일상적 목적을 위하여 사용될 수 있는 모델이 아니며, 현재와 같이 기초가 갖추어져 있지 않은 상황에서는 더욱 그러하다. 정상적 모델 이용이 가능할 수 있도록 배출원 자료 체계를 갖추어야 하고, 서을 등 특징적 지역에 대하여서는 집중적 현장 조사를 실시하여야 한다.3)와 NAS(National Academy of Sciences, 1983), 미국에서 발행되는 정부 지침서 (Federal Register)에 고시된 내용 등을 토대로 하였다. 연구는 당면현실로 다가온 정보화 및 세계화의 기업환경에서 예견되는 몰입(committment)의 약화에 대한 치유방안으로서, 정보화된 경영모의게임의 기업 교육훈련 시스템(Business Training System)으로의 발전 가능성을 제시한다 하겠다.암시하며, 따라서 우리 교육문화에 맞는 재택수업 형태의 개발이 시급함을 제시한다고 하겠다.column density of HCaN is (1-3):n1014cm-2. Pre-grouting for CHI of EPB shield TBM in difficult grounds: a case study of Daegok-Sosa railway tunnel (복합지반 EPB TBM 커터교체를 위한 그라우팅 수행 사례)

  • Railway projects have been consistently increasing in Korea. In relation to this trend, the mechanized tunneling using Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) is preferably applied for mining urban areas and passing under rivers. The TBM tunneling under difficult grounds like mixed faces with high water pressure could require ground improvements for stable TBM advance or safe cutter head intervention (CHI). In this study, pre-grouting works for CHI in Daegok-Sosa railway project are presented in terms of the grouting zone design, the executions and the results, the lessons learned from the experience. It should be mentioned that the grouting from inside TBM was carried out several times and turned out to be inefficient in the project. Therefore, grouting experiences from the surface are highlighted in this study. Jet grouting was implemented on CHI points on land, while permeation grouting off shore in the Han River, which mostly allow to access the cutter head of TBM in free air with stable faces. The results of CHI works have been analyzed and the lesson learned are suggested.
