This research is to make clear the volunteer activity system through analysing activity of volunteers. Main suggestions are as below. In management system, integrated cooperating system, improvement of delivering system of relief goods and developing operating manual of volunteering management are discussed. In education system, specialized education for different disaster areas, field orientation education, and training managerial positions are suggested. In supporting system, improving NDMS(National Disaster Management System), computerized program for volunteer management, insurance for volunteers, issuing a confirmation of volunteering activity, securement of emergency communication system, budget for prevention and donation are also suggested.

본 논문에서는 대학이 보유하고 있는 인적 물적 자원의 효율적인 관리와 지역사회 자원봉사활동 연계를 중심으로 지역사회에서의 대학의 역할과 자원봉사활동 강화 방안을 모색하고자 하는데 연구의 중점을 두었다. 먼저, 대학의 자원봉사활동을 지속적으로 발전시키기 위해서 다양한 정책개발이 필요하다. 둘째, 일상생활보조나 단순봉사활동 보다는 전문화된 자원봉사 프로그램이 필요하다. 셋째, 자원봉사 활동이 대학생들에게 반강제적으로 실시되는 측면도 있어, 자원봉사에 대한 인식 개선이 필요하다. 넷째, 대학생 자원봉사활동이 지역사회에서 지속적으로 이루어질 수 있도록 체계적인 자원봉사체제 확립이 이루어져야 한다.

The purpose of this study to provide implications for improvement of Korean voluntary sector, by analyzing of program managers' subjective evaluation of voluntary program management and of their view of the needs for outside supports. For this, researchers selected 600 agencies, which are found to have a staff in charge of voluntary programs, and sent a questionnaire by mail. Those agencies are consisted of the following three. areas: social services, civil movement, public sector. The response rate was 65%, and researchers analyzed 382 respondents out of 391, besides those who did not complete the form in full. One of the results was that program managers' subjective evaluation score of overall voluntary program management was 51 points in the perfect score of 100 points. The voluntary program management was consisted of the following six areas: recruiting, job placement, public relations, education(training), program development, and. information system Specifically, program development and information system appeared to be worse than the other areas, and this fact was true in all three types of agencies of social services, civil movements, and public sector. Moreover, program managers in public sector showed that outside supports for voluntary programs (or activities) was more desperately required. Based on the results, researchers concluded that, toward the improvement of voluntary programs, professionalization as well as legal supporting system, networking, and national supporting institution were required.

The purpose of this research is to provide synthesized findings on the effect of volunteering among the elderly on their life satisfaction and depression. In order to do that, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis from selected studies which were published in Korea. From five databases and three government web sites, 47 research papers were selected based on the eligible criteria and the 53 effect size data were extracted. The results are: The effect size of elderly volunteering on life satisfaction was 0.348 with 95% confidence interval of 0.286 to 0.408. The summary effect of elderly volunteering on depression was -0.310 with 95% confidence interval of -0.439 to -0.169. These findings suggest that elderly volunteering is an effective intervention for their psychosocial health, providing some evidence in the area of volunteering policies and practices.

사회의 환경변화에 따라 기업 또한 기업 또한 과거 폐쇄적 수직 체계의 position power에서 개방적 수평체계의 communication power로 역할이 변화하고 있다. 기업의 사회적 책임 이행의 대표적인 활동인 사회공헌활동은 지역사회와의 소통 수단 뿐 아니라 새로운 마케팅전략으로 자리매김 되고 있다. 사회공헌활동의 성공요소 중 가장 중요한 것은 구성원의 봉사적 마인드이다. 봉사적 마인드는 이론 뿐 아니라 실천적 행동철학에 기인 한다. 기업이 바라는 인재상과도 밀접한 관계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 기업이 신입사원 채용시 봉사활동 실적을 반영하는데 있어서 표준적인 가이드라인을 연구 제시하고자 한다.

This study aimed to investigate that what factors affect the volunteer activities of dental hygiene students and present a plan and problems with devising a program for activating their volunteer activities. A self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted in 265 dental hygiene students in Gwangju from November to December 2012, obtaining the following results: 51.3% of the respondents were freshmen; 74.3% had experience of volunteer activities; and 31.7% had the activities in the field of disabilities. 56.2% were motivated to participate in the activities by 'credit-earning and volunteer activity achievements'. Most of students participated in volunteer activities through clubs. Satisfaction with major-related volunteer activities was associated with higher support by others, higher job perception, higher job adequacy, and higher support by family. To increase satisfaction with major-related volunteer activities of students research is needed to develop systematic education for volunteers, subjects suitable for colleges, and an effective program in order to alter students' perception.

This study collected data of college students' volunteering for maritime and fisheries and found that only few subjects participated in it. They took part in control for release of oil, services for sea village and coastal cleansing. Most were satisfied with their volunteering referring contributing to environment protection, self-fulfillment, social interaction, gaining special experiences and assimilation with nature. The subjects were not satisfied with lack of systematic and effective services, monolithic activities, insufficient publicity, deficient rewards and a shortage of self-capacity. Based upon the research findings, implications for college students' volunteering policies were suggested to promote volunteering for maritime and fisheries.

The duration of volunteering can be analyzed in terms of commitment and attachment. Previous studies have investigated the duration of volunteering predominantly from the perspective of commitment. Alternatively, this study focuses on the concept of attachment and investigates the characteristics of those who volunteer habitually over their whole life, regardless of the regularity and the intensity of the volunteer work. In so doing, the study attempts to identify factors associated with the attachment to volunteering. Data came from a sample of 8,415 participants, ages over twenty who responded to all the surveys of the Korea Welfare Panel Study, from Wave 1 to 10. Zero-inflated negative bionomial regression model was employed to analyze the total number of volunteering in the past ten years. Findings show that people with high attachment to volunteering were those with religion, less education, and a strong sense of reciprocity. Based on the findings, we provide the practical implications for the improved operation and management of volunteer organizations.

Utilizing volunteers is one of the essential strategies to enhance and diversify the library service. especially in public libraries which have limited human resources. The purpose of this study is to explore a guideline which can be applied to recruit and manage volunteers in public libraries. To prepare a guideline. library volunteerism in foreign countries was discussed through the literature and the internet, and an empirical survey was conducted to analyze the volunteer management condition in 422 public libraries. Based on these surveys, a guideline composed of eight steps was recommended. This guideline can help libraries recruit, train, retain, and supervise volunteers in effective manner.

This study suggested the necessity of efficient volunteer management plan and continuous volunteer expansion plan to enhance the continuity of volunteer activity by local government and induce more systematic and stable volunteer activity. As a prior concrete plans for volunteer expansion, this study suggested establishing the incentive for expanding continuous volunteers through coexisting and cooperation, enhancing the propulsion will and providing an institutional strategy of local and metropolitan government heads, improving volunteer's internal capability, and reinforcing administrative support and financial aid. Also this study emphasized the effectiveness of various volunteer-related matters such as daring support and investment to drastically expand continuous volunteers and their activities.
