Framework for Developing RFID Applications Based on Product Line Architecture (프로덕트라인 아키텍처 기반 RFID 애플리케이션 개발을 위한 프레임워크)

  • Software produce line engineering is a method that prepares for future reuse and supports seamless reuse in the application development process. Analyzing the commonality and variability between products in a product line is one of the essential concerns that must be considered when building a product line. In this paper, we suggest to combine a product line engineering approach with RFID applications technology. More concretely, common activities are identified among the RFID-enable applications and the variability in the common activities is analyzed in detail. Then, we suggest reusable product line architecture as a product line asset. In addition, as a tool for supporting this research, a framework which provides both reusable product line architecture for REID applications and the components that implement concrete realization of the architecture is developed. Sharing a common architecture and reusing assets to deploy recurrent services may be considered an advantage in terms of economic significance and overall quality.

  • Software product line engineering is a software reuse paradigm that helps organizations improve software productivity and quality by developing software products from reusable core assets. For the satisfaction of common and variable requirements among products in the product line, the core assets must be configurable according to the selection of variable features. Therefore, unlike software architecture model of a single product, product line architecture model must embed and express variabilities among the products. Many researches have proposed methods of embedding and expressing variabilities in the product line architecture models, but there are few comparative studies on the proposed methods. In this paper we discuss strong points and weak points of the proposed methods and compare expressiveness of the methods, which helps select a proper method.

  • Using Keller's customer-based brand equity framework, we attempt to understand and analyze marketing efforts that Pigeon has made to build the most valuable brand in the fabric softner marketing over the last 25 years. Our analysis revealed that first, Pigeon has developed and executed its brand system, brand elements, and marketing programs in a consistent and complementary way. Second, Pigeon's dedication to R&D as well as to customer needs has enabled it to offer a series of successful products with high quality and great value. Third, Pigeon has made good use of both scientific and intuitive approaches in the strategic management process. Lastly, the power leadership of the top management and its emphasis on personnel made a significant contribution to the success of Pigeon.

  • 본 사례는 외환위기 및 대우 그룹 해체로 인해 존폐의 위기에 처했던 대우증권이 선도업체 위상을 탈환하기까지의 재건 과정에서 실행했던 마케팅 전략 및 영업활동을 분석하고 있다. 이를 통해 경영위기를 효과적으로 극복하고 새롭게 도약하기 위해 활용 가능한 마케팅 및 영업 전략의 일례를 소개하고자 한다. 끝으로 대우증권의 향후 마케팅 과제와 관련된 토의 주제가 제시된다. 국내 증권업계 선두주자였던 대우증권은 1999년 '대우 사태'로 인해 한때 업계 5위까지 추락하고 1조 2,000억원의 적자를 기록하였으며 신용등급은 투자부적격 단계인 CCC+까지 하락하는 등 위기를 맞이하게 되었다. 대우증권이 회생과 재도약을 위해 채택한 마케팅 전략은 '선택과 집중'이었다. 즉, 최대 수익원이자 경쟁력이 있는 사업 분야인 위탁매매(brokerage)에 역량을 우선 집중하여 안정적으로 수익 기반을 다진 뒤 이를 바탕으로 IB(Investment Bank)와 자산 관리(Wealth Management) 등 여타 분야에서의 역량도 점진적으로 강화하는 전략이다. 전략의 실행 방향은 높은 효율성 확보 및 자원의 확충을 통해 시장 지배력과 수익성을 창출하는 것이었다. 전략적 공감대, 오프라인 영업 강화, 현장 및 고객 중시를 위한 기업 자원의 확충 배치를 바탕으로 영업 프로세스, 영업 인프라, 영업 관리, 고객 서비스, 영업 문화의 혁신을 실행한 결과, 대우증권은 증권명가의 옛 명성과 위치를 성공적으로 탈환하게 되었다. 대우증권은 2004년 위탁매매 영업 부문에서 1위 위상을 되찾은 이래 전 사업 분야에서 성장을 지속하였다. 2006년 증권업종 시가총액 1위를 회복하는 등 각종 경영지표는 큰 폭으로 개선되었고, 신용등급은 AA-로 상향 조정되었다. 나아가 자본시장통합법 시대에 걸맞는 선도 글로벌 투자은행으로서 진화한다는 계획을 추진하고 있다.

  • This research presented a conceptual design of damage assessment inventory for efficient response to natural disaster damage of infrastructure close to the river. It consists of classification and categorization of facilities for accomplishing the conceptual design of inventory for damage of infrastructure close to the river. However, there are arising problems of efficient management on disaster, such as poor management of data facilities and constructions which is managed by the different types of government departments. Therefore, this research presented conceptual models of damage assessment inventory on risks of damage infrastructure close to the river using the United states' HAZUS-MH to analyze damage facilities, type of asset classification, classification of domestic facilities and guidelines for computing the value of assets. Conceptual models of inventory this research presented is to be used on the data for damage response on protected inland damage assessment and to increase efficiency for evaluating detailed damage amount of private property by natural disaster and to establish a restoration plan.

  • Recently, the importance of monitoring and management measures for bicycle road related facilities has been increasing. However, research on the monitoring and evaluation of users' safety and convenience in walking spaces including bicycle path is insufficient. In this study, we would like to construct health monitoring data for cylists-pedestrians mixed road using a mobile mapping system, and propose a plan to calculate the level of service of the mixed roads from the perspective of pedestrians and cyclists using artificial intelligence based object detection techniques. The monitoring and level of service calculation method of cylists-pedestrians mixed roads proposed in this study is expected to be used as basic information for planning and management such as maintenance and reconstruction of walking spaces in preparation for the increase of electric bicycles and personal mobility in the future.

  • Facility Management is the longest in the building of life cycle. Because it occupies more than 80% of cost, the phase of Facility Management has to be managed and has to be perceived as important as design and construction phase. The method to manage building more efficiently is the introduction of Facility Management System used by CAD and database. But information Requirement is now input by hand in the most Facility Management System. This study aims to analyze the example of applying BIM in the Korea or abroad and the errors of this were deducted by many phase. Lastly, the possible solution is suggested in order to be used in the Facility Management System. This study's benchmarking is COBIE which is developed by the COE(Corps of Engineers) and now popular in the world. The suggestion in this study is the method that I have already mentioned is helpful for a designer to do modeling when a designer uses BIM S/W(software). To be more specific, the method plays a side role in helping data input considering the phase of Facility Management.

  • The National Registered Cultural Heritage no. 377, 'The Eclectic-style House in Daeheung-dong, Daejeon', was relocated in 2013, even though it was privately owned. The relocation of National Registered Cultural Heritage through an urban redevelopment project is rare because the restriction of the preservation of a cultural asset is relatively tolerated. For the sake of profit in a redevelopment project, a privately owned Registered Cultural Heritage is likely to be demolished with no laws to prevent it. This study researched the history of the heritage and the procedure of the relocation process. Based on the research, the study intends to clarify the relationship between the economic and legislative conditions with the result of the National Registered Cultural Heritage relocation in general. The failure of the successful relocation of the National Registered Cultural Heritage in redevelopment projects is caused mainly by a change of ownership, which is generally from personal to anonymous associations. Based on the condition, this study maintained the Cultural Heritage's redefinition as a public asset and proposed phased amendments in each major procedure of a redevelopment project for the successful preservation and reuse of National Registered Cultural Heritage.

A study on reliability analysis model of the repair and replacement cycle of a building which utilizes Monte Carlo Simulation (몬테카를로 시뮬레이션을 활용한 건축물 수선교체주기 신뢰성 분석 모델에 관한 연구)

  • This study presented a model that can enable a reliability analysis for the repair and replacement cycle of a building by using background repair and replacement data and expert opinion as foundation data and applying Monte Carlo Simulation. The presented model offers the time of the repair and replacement of building elements for the period of a year, and supports the prediction of repair and replacement and expenses demand in advance while planning the maintenance of a building. In addition, the model will significantly reduce the risks to the building owner with regard to maintenance decisions. In addition, when a person in charge of the maintenance of large-scale building assets is having difficulties making decisions regarding the repair and replacement of existing building elements due to a lack of background data to support a long-term policy on the repair and replacement requirements, an engineering solution that can ensure the adequacy of this is provided. In summary, it can be largely divided into three study results. First, a method of estimating the repair and replacement cycle that can deal with the development of a construction system was developed. Second, a probabilistic methodology that can quantify the risk of the repair and replacement cycle was proposed. Third, the proposed model can be used as a means of supporting designer and constructor in making decisions for the life cycle plan of a building during a construction project.

A Study on the Correlation between Financial Ratio and Operating Performance Considering the Characteristics of Foodservice Companies (외식 기업의 특성을 고려한 재무 비율과 경영 성과간의 관계에 대한 연구)

  • This study attempted to analyze the correlation between financial ratio and operating performance of foodservice companies, using the financial data by DART service. Financial ratio is an index to identify the management of foodservice companies from calculating the ratio associating two accounts in the financial statements. Managers, creditors and investors often have different purposes for using the ratio analysis to evaluate the contents of the financial statements. According to the analysis of financial ratio and operating performance, listed food and beverage companies proved to have a high correlation in all except for interest coverage. However, foodservice companies showed a high correlation in stability and growth ratio. Therefore, managers of the foodservice companies will need to improve operating performance for using efficient utilization plans of debt from assets and operating expenses(cost of goods sold, general and other expenses).
