  • A flexible planning system is an important element for the robot to perform various tasks. In this paper, we introduce an automated planning system architecture that can deal with the changing environment. PDDL is used for symbolic-based task planning, and a graph database is used for real-time environment information updates for automated PDDL generation. The proposed framework was verified through scenario-based experiments.

  • 컴퓨터통합생산 시스템의 실현을 위한 중요한 분야의 하나의 부품설계도면으로부터 최종제품을 생산 하는데 필요한 공정계획의 자동화, 즉 컴퓨터지원 자동공정계획(Computer Aided Process Planning ; CAPP) 시스템 기술의 개발이다. 국내외적으로 금형가공 부품을 대상으로 한 CAPP 시스템의 개발은 비교적 저조하므로, 본 연구에서는 사출금형 부품을 대상으로 하여 실용성이 있는 공정계획 전문가시스템 개발을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서 금형 공정계획전문가의 경험적 지식을 기반으로 한 사출금형부품의 공정계획 전문가시스템인 MOLDCAPP을 개발하였다. MOLDCAPP 시스템은 도면정보로부터 형상정보를 자동적으로 인식하여 공정계획의 기능 중에서 가동공정, 가공공정 순서, 공작기계 및 절삭공구를 자동적으로 결정한다. 개발된 MOLDCAPP 시스템은 실제 사례연구를 통하여 그 타당성을 분석하였다.

  • In this paper, an integrated planning system is introduced for the efficient operation of container terminal. It consists of discharging and loading planning, yard planning, and berth scheduling subsystem. This interface of this system is considered for user's convenience, and the rule-based system is suggested and developed in order to make planning with automatic procedures, warning functions for errors.

  • This paper proposes a hybrid tour path planning system for multiple visitors in a museum. The proposed path planning system merges individual user profiles into a group profile by exploiting the multiplicative utilization algorithm. It then generates a tour path for the users based on mixed initiative decision of the system and the involved visitors. It automatically selects visiting sites when group users have highly similar preferences while it asks users to select their appropriate visiting sites among available sites when their preferences are different. We developed the hybrid path planning system based on a tabletop display and evaluated it with four different exhibition settings and 11 participants. We found that the mixed decision of the system and users was useful in building a tour path for a group of visitors.

  • We develop an automatic trajectory planning system (ATPS) for painting robots by proposing a new trajectory planning scheme. The new scheme considers geometric modeling, painting mechanics, and robot dynamics to output an optimal trajectory (in the sense of coating thickness and painting time) based on the CAD data describing the shape of objects, The new scheme is implemented in SUN/4 workstation to develop an ATPS for painting robots. To test the validity of the new scheme and to illustrate the developed system, numerous runs are performed and analyzed.

  • CAD와 CAM 시스템 사이에서 교량역활을 지원하며, 컴퓨터 통합생산(CIM)시스템을 구축하는데 중요한 기능을 수행하는 것 중의하나인 자동공정설계(Computer Aided Process Planning :CAPP) 시스템의 첫 단계는 부품도면에 존재하는 형상 을 인식하는 것이다. 현재까지 개발된 CAPP 시스템 중 CAD 데이타베이스에서 자동적으로 형상인식을 수행하는 시스템 으로는 축대칭인 회전형상 부품을 대상으로하는 시스템이 많이 개발되어 있으나, 비회전형상 부품을 대상으로하는 시스 템은 CAD 데이타베이스의 부적절성으로 인해 제한점이 많은 부분적인 결과만 나와 있을 뿐이다. 본 연구에서는 비회전 형상 부품인 사출금형 부품을 대상으로하여 AutoCAD 시스템을 사용하여 공정설계자의 개입이 없이부품에 존재하는 형상들을 자동적으로 인식하는 알고리즘 개발에 대해서 기술하고자 한다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to describe the design of the decision support system for container terminal ship planning and to introduce the implemented system. The ship planning in container terminals consists of three major decision processes -the working schedule of gantry cranes the discharging sequence of inbound containers the loading position and sequence of outbound containers. For making these decision the proposed system can provide two ship planning modes the interactive planning mode with user-friendly GUI and the automated planning made. To implement the automated planning routine we acquired the planning rules from the expert planner in container terminals and developed an expert system based on the rules. Finally we evaluated the system developed and the potential for commercialization by using container terminal data.

  • The erection process planning is to decide erection strategy and sequence that satisfies dock duration. The erection scheduling is to decide erection date of each block. The load profile varies according to scheduling and it is related to building cost. It must be possible to simulate the various combinations of process plan and schedule for optimal planning. To develop the process planning system for optimal planning, the system that generate the sequence of erection automatically and the load leveling system are required. This paper suggests the method that generates the erection sequence. The load leveling should be done to all the ships in the same dock batch to get reliable results. In this case since the search space is very large, efficient optimization method is needed Our research achieved the load leveling system using Genetic Algorithm. This system made it possible to simulate various process plans to which schedule is considered.

선삭공정의 작업준비계획의 자동화

  • 본 연구는 선삭공정에서 CAD 인터페이스된 자동공정계획시스템개발에 관한 연구의 계속으로 작업준비계획(Setup Planning)을 자동적으로 수행하는 기법을 개발함이 주된 목적이다. 연구의 대상은 기계가공부품들 중 많은 비중을 차지하는 NC선반가공용 회전형상부품을 대상으로 하였다. 연구의 내용은 공작물고정방법의 결정, 작업준비횟수의 결정, 클램핑(Clamping)면 및 공작물고정구의 선정에 관한 기법과 알고리즘을 개발하였으며, 소프트웨어는 개인용 컴퓨터를 이용하여 Turbo-C(Version 2.0)를 사용하여 개발하였고, 사례연구를 통하여 개발된 시스템의 유효성을 평가하였다.

  • Accurate and rapid establishment of mobile communication is important in mobile communication system. Currently, the base station parameters to establish a network are determined by cell planning tool. However, it is necessary to perform new cell planning for each new installation of the base station, and there may be a problem that parameters are not suitable for the actual environment are set, such as obstacle information that is not applied in the cell planning tool. In this paper, we proposed methods for path loss prediction using DNN and topographical division using CNN in SON server. After topography classification, a SON server configures the base station parameters according to topography, and update parameters for each topography. The proposed methods can configure the base station parameters automatically that are considered topography information and environmental changes.
