A Study on High-precision Autofocus Matching Device for Smoke Detector Based on IR Laser (IR 레이저 기반 연기감지기를 위한 고정밀 자동초점 정합장치에 관한 연구)

  • Smoke detector is commonly used to reduce fire detection time. However, technical problems regarding its inaccuracy of laser beam-receiving point on the surface of the sensor associated with incoming interference are identified when the laser transmitter and receiver are installed at a distance of about 100m. In this paper, we propose the auto focus alignment algorithm with high precision to adjust tilting angle of lasers caused by environmental interference so that solve existing issues using multi-level worm gear set.

  • In this paper, we propose a controller with the self-organizing neural network compensator for compensating PID controller's response. PID controller has simple design method but needs a lot of trials and errors to determine coefficients. A neural network control method does not have optimal structure as the parameters are pre-specified by designers. In this paper, to solve this problem, we use a self-organizing neural network which has Back Propagation Network algorithm using a Gaussian Potential Function as an activation function of hidden layer nodes for compensating PID controller's output. Self-Organizing Neural Network's learning is proceeded by Gaussian Function's Mean, Variance and number which are automatically adjusted. As the results of simulation through the second order plant, we confirmed that the proposed controller get a good response compare with a PID controller. And we implemented the of controller performance hydraulic servo motor system using the DSP processor. Then we observed an experimental results.

PID Control Structure for Model Following Control (모델 추종 제어를 위한 PID 제어기법)

  • This paper proposes the design of the model following control system using the PID control structure. PID control system became model following control by inserting new pre-compensator in order to improve control performance in discrete-time region. Gain of the PID controller needs to be readjusted when response of system changes due to disturbance or load fluctuation. Performance of control system improves by joining neural network to PID control system because performance of control system depends largely on each PID gain in PID control system. And the games of the PID controller in the proposed control system are automatically adjusted by back-propagation algorithm of the neural network. Angular position of DC servo motor is selected as a plant in order to verify control performance in model following control. After it is applied to the position control system, it's performance is verified through computer experiment.

  • 종래 사용되어온 교류발전기의 자동전압조정기는 직류여자기의 계자전류를 제어함으로써 교류 발전기의 단자전압을 일정하게 유지하는 방식이었다. 이경우 정정시의 전압변동을 적게하는 것은 비교적 용이하지만 급격한 부하변동에 대해서는 불경하였다. 즉 발전기에 급히 부하가 걸리면 발전기의 특성에 의하여 결정되는 전압이 순간적으로 떨어지고 또 발전기에는 복권작용이 없고 직류여자기및 제어장치의 시정수에 의한 조정작용의 시간적 늦음이 있기때문에 발전기의 전압은 더욱 강하한다. 이 전압강하의 방지책으로 발전기를 필요이상 크게하여 단종비를 크게하고 또 속응여자를 행하고 있다. 그리고 발전기의 부하가 유도전동기이 가능한 것은 소용량에 한하고 거의 모두 감압기동을 하고 있었다. 이 난점을 보상하기 위해 주회로전류에 의한 복권특성을 갖는 자여자교류발전기가 개발되어 왔으며 근래에는 S.C.R (Silicon Controlled Rectifier)의 발달에 따라 자기증폭기식에서 Transistor-Thyristor식으로 변천하고 있다. 여기서는 자여자발전기를 이용한 정전압장치부 자려자교류벌전기 75KVA에 대한 특성을 소개하고자 한다.

  • Method for regulating voltage using a generator voltage regulating device (AVR) is divided in an existing analog system and a digital replacement. Typically, to adjust the voltage by using a brushless excitation system of the type to be reduced for a voltage change under all. The control method of the AVR as a PID (proportional-integral-differential) control method is widely used. However, the control scheme is to reduce the transient response of the control parameters of the controller to the control object. Therefore, if the control target should change, there is a problem, reset the parameters of the controller again. In this study, without having to reset the parameters of the controller for the parameter variations to be controlled iPID (intelligent PID) using a controller designed to obtain a generator AVR system voltage variation is small in response to full load is applied to and through simulations and experiments improved transient response.

  • In this paper, we derive dynamic equation of a simulated helicopter and propose the control method base on a neural network to control its attitude. The coupling coefficients are adjusted to minimize the error between the output of a control system and the reference value. The gain of the proposed controller are automatically adjusted by the back propagation of a neural network. Simulation results using MATLAB are given in this paper.

  • In the pipeline for supplying purified water to each household, measurements such as flow meters and pressure meters are installed at important points to monitor in real time. The measured data acquired to the central control room through wireless or wired communication, but data may not be acquired due to intermittent communication failures. Since then, even if the communication network is restored, data during the failure period is not stored on the site, or even if it is stored, data cannot be automatically stored in the database. Low cost with universally installed in the field in order to address these data logging by developing a module is compatible with PLC, automatically would like to make sure that we can recover in the database.

  • 전기를 에너지원으로 사용하는 각 종 부하는 가정, 공장 및 상가 등에 널리 분산되어 있고, 여기에 전기를 생산 공급하는 발전기도 지역적으로 분산되어 병렬운전이 되고 있다. 새로운 발전기가 병렬운전에 참여하기 위해서는 기존 운전되고 있는 전력계통과의 전압, 주파수, 상회전, 위상이 일치하여야 한다. 만약 이들 조건이 갖추어지지 않은 상태에서 임의 병렬 접속을 시도하게 되면 해당 발전기는 물론 전체 계통에 충격과 손상을 초래할 수 있다. 양측의 전압과 주파수 비교는 상용 계측기를 사용하여 비교적 쉽게 할 수 있느나, 상회전 방향과 위상차의 판별에는 세심한 주의가 필요하다. 최근의 발전기에는 병렬 운전 조건을 자동으로 조정, 확인을 하는 장치를 채용하고 있으며 구체적인 회로구성과 동작원리를 여기에서 살펴보았다. 병렬 접속이 이루어진 후 발전기 별 전력 분담과, 계통 주파수 변동에 따라 자동으로 발전기 출력 제어가 이루어지는 기능이 터빈 조속기 측에 설정되어 사용된다.

  • Estimation of thrusters efficiency is a very important process at the end of lifetime of a satellite. This paper introduces a technique to estimate the efficiency change of thrusters considering bubble effect for Koreasat I. During APEMAC(Automatic Pitch Error/ Momentum Adjust Control), the change in thruster efficiency is estimated to compare the attitude telemetry data of the Koreasat I with the results of the control logic using Simulink. The outcome of this study is expected to contribute to improving the operational load at the end of generic communication satellite mission.

A Design of Wide-Range Digitally Controlled Oscillator with an Active Inductor (능동 인덕터를 이용한 광대역 디지털 제어 발진기의 설계)

  • This paper presents a wide tuning range, fine-resolution DCO (Digitally Controlled Oscillator) with an active inductor. In order to control the frequency of the DCO, the transconductance of the active inductor is tuned digitally. In addition, the DCO gain needs to be calibrated digitally to compensate for gain variations. To cover the wide tuning range, an automatic three-step coarse tuning scheme is proposed. The DCO total frequency tuning range is 1.4 GHz (2.1 GHz to 3.5 GHz), it is 58 % at 2.4 GHz. An effective frequency resolution is 0.14 kHz/LSB. The proposed DCO is implemented in 0.13 ${\mu}m$ CMOS process. The total power consumption is 6.6 mW from a 1.2 V supply voltage. The phase noise of the DCO output at 2.4 GHz is -120.67 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset.
