Visual-Attention Using Corner Feature Based SLAM in Indoor Environment (실내 환경에서 모서리 특징을 이용한 시각 집중 기반의 SLAM)

  • The landmark selection is crucial to successful perform in SLAM(Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) with a mono camera. Especially, in unknown environment, automatic landmark selection is needed since there is no advance information about landmark. In this paper, proposed visual attention system which modeled human's vision system will be used in order to select landmark automatically. The edge feature is one of the most important element for attention in previous visual attention system. However, when the edge feature is used in complicated indoor area, the response of complicated area disappears, and between flat surfaces are getting higher. Also, computation cost increases occurs due to the growth of the dimensionality since it uses the responses for 4 directions. This paper suggests to use a corner feature in order to solve or prevent the problems mentioned above. Using a corner feature can also increase the accuracy of data association by concentrating on area which is more complicated and informative in indoor environments. Finally, this paper will prove that visual attention system based on corner feature can be more effective in SLAM compared to previous method by experiment.

  • This paper presents a circularly symmetric point spread function (PSF) estimation technique for a fully digital auto-focusing system. The proposed algorithm provides realistic, unsupervised PSF estimation by establishing the relationship between one-dimensional ideal step response and two-dimensional circularly symmetric PSF.

  • The aim of development is system having convenient, cheap, reliable and better good measurements. The cozy environments in auto and architects is essentiable requirements. This study focuses on system developments of test equipment for better performance of noise protection in automobiles. Sound cards using makes easily to acquire the sound in each room, especially reduced the complexities of the circuits. The developed system have easily been measured and have characteristics of rapid mecanical response. The menu of rough scan method makes efficiently to test the shielding performance of auto rubber in whole frequency scales.

  • For that reason, more and more growing of the internet speed, many kind of the multimedia as if the voice, a letter, a photograph, a moving picture are appearance and integration of the internet as if the wireless internet, the CATV, a satellite is forming. Today, many changes in the communication environment are occurrence. therefore a demands of the user keep up increase. so, in this paper, we developed the SOHO IP-PBX embedded which can automatically exchange the call. the developed IP-PBX have many functions as if the exchange call function, the gateway function, the PSTN backup function, the FAX function, the VPN function, etc. and verified it by an experiment on the rules in KT.

Vibro-acoustic Characteristics of an Automotive Brake Drum (자동차용 브레이크 드럼의 구조-음향 특성에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigates the vibro-acoustic characteristics of an automotive brake drum given free boundaries using the hybrid approach combining numerically obtained structural properties with analytical solution for acoustic radiation. Structural vibrations of the drum are investigated with the finite element method, and modal displacements on the outer surfaces of the drum are idealized as simple mathematical expressions. Based on the expressions, modal sound radiations of the drum are calculated using the Rayleigh integral method. Structural and acoustic responses of the drum for a harmonic excitation are obtained from above results using the modal expansion technique. The results are confirmed with numerical analyses using the boundary element method. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the vibro-acoustic characteristics of a brake drum can be accurately investigated with the process used in this study. Also, many noise and vibration problems in drum brake can be addressed using the procedure proposed in this study.

  • In this paper, a POI(Point-of-Interest) telematics service platform, in which detailed POI telematics services are discovered automatically and provided, is developed. The platform discovers services with UPnP middleware and provides a location-based service using GIS information. It is implemented by a telematics server, terminals, and service gateways and tested by applying test scenario for validation. Also, the response time and throughput of UPnP messages in the platform is measured and analyzed. The result shows that it has little impact on the service network congestion.

  • We propose a new method to deal with the optimized auto-tuning for the PID controller which is used to the process-control in various fields. First of all, in this method, 1st order delay system with dead time which is modelled from the unit step response of the system is Pade-approximated, then initial values are determined by the Ziegler-Nichols method and deciding binary strings of parents generation using by the fitness values of genetic algorithms, we perform selection, crossover and mutation to generate the descendant generation. The advantage of this method is better than the Ziegler-Nickels method in characteristic of output, and has extent of applying without limit of K, L, T parameters.

  • 인터넷 쇼핑몰과 같은 웹사이트에서 FAQ 검색의 중요성은 갈수록 증가되고 있다. 일반적으로 FAQ 검색을 하기 위해서 사용자가 직접 FAQ 리스트에서 FAQ를 찾거나 키워드 검색을 통해 FAQ를 찾는다. 하지만 이 방법은 FAQ 리스트를 찾는데 시간이 오래 걸리고 사용자가 만족하는 결과를 보여주지 못하는 경우가 많다. 이를 해결하기 위해 사용자의 자연어 질의에 대해 자동으로 FAQ를 찾아주는 FAQ 시스템이 필요하다. 자동화된 FAQ 시스템은 사용자의 질의 문장에 대해 FAQ 목록 중에 가장 유사한 FAQ 문장을 찾아준다. 이를 위해 각 문장을 유니그램과 바이그램 단어 집합으로 표현하여 문장 간의 유사도를 계산한다. 본 논문에서는 유니그램과 바이그램 단어 집합뿐만이 아니라 한국어 문형을 기반으로 한 문장 정규화를 통해 단어의 문장 성분 정보와 성분 내 위치 정보를 이용하여 문장을 표현함으로써 자동화된 FAQ 시스템의 성능을 향상 시키는 것을 목표로 한다.

  • We propose a new method to deal with optimal auto-tuning of the PID controller which is used to process control in various fields. First of all, in this method, 1st order system which was modeled from the unit step response of the system is Pade-approximated, then initial values are determined by the Ziegler-Nichols method. Finally, we can find the parameters of PID controller so as to maximize the fuzzy criterion function which includes the maximum overshoot, damping ratio, rising time and settling time. The Proposed method also shows good adaptability for variations in characteristics and dead m e of the system.

  • As industry gets rapidly automatic, D.C servo motor which is controlled by a PI controller needs accurate control. However, when a system has various characters, it is very difficult to guarantee its accuracy. In this paper, rule-based auto-tuning PI controller for motor speed control system is presented as a way of solving this problem. Some rules are based on Ziegler-Nichols step response and expert knowledge. Control parameters are determined by error, slope, steepest slope point, and permiSSIon overshoot. The accuracy of control is demonstrated by a computer s mulation .
