Research on the Construction of an Automation Model for Maintenance Managers Based on Smart Devices (스마트 디바이스 기반 유지보수 관리자용 자동화 모델 구축에 관한 연구)

  • Based on the previous year's statistics, 37% of buildings in South Korea are aged over 30 years. As the number of the aging buildings increases, so does the need for maintenance. Building maintenance involves a significant number of works; the work of 'maintenance manager' accounting for the largest part. Currently, the maintenance history record is mostly in drawing or handwritten form which makes reviewing the data highly time consuming. Therefore, to improve the convenience of maintenance works and optimize historical data management, the existing maintenance process was analyzed. Problems were derived and a smart device-based automation model was established. In order to establish a smart device-based automation model, ① general flow of facility management process was analyzed and related articles were reviewed, ② current maintenance process was optimized, ③ functional block diagram of BIM Data, COBie Data, IoT, and AR-based automated maintenance management model was created, ④ a smart device-based automated maintenance management model was constructed, ⑤ finally, the above system was verified by testing the aforementioned model in the field site, evaluating the time required for the maintenance process and reviewing maintenance history data against the current one.

The Development of Performance Analysis Code for Conceptual Design of Jet Fighters (전투기의 개념설계를 위한 성능해석 프로그램 개발)

  • In the conceptual design phase of jet fighters, the trade study is performed repeatedly for a selection of the baseline configuration. The automation of repeated trade study makes possible to select efficiently the baseline configuration. In this study, the performance analysis code was developed for the automation of trade study. The code was consists of the module of shape generation, the module of weight estimation, the module of mission performance analysis. 3D CAD Model can be generated by the module of shape generation and Weight can be estimated by using the empirical equation in the module of weight estimation. The module of mission performance analysis was able to calculate the mission performance about the arbitrary mission profile. In addition, the optimal mission performance can be calculated by using optimization method. By performing the validation, the code was confirmed to be able to apply to the conceptual design phase.

  • The purpose of this study is to model and analyze retractable large spatial structures by applying parametric modeling techniques. The modeling of wind loads in the analysis of typical structures including curved surfaces can be error-prone, and the processing time increases dramatically when there are many types of variables. However, the method based on StrAuto that was developed in previous research, facilitates the efficacious assignment of wind loads to structures and the rapid arrival of conclusions. As a result, it is possible to compare alternatives with various loads, including wind loads, to determine an optimal alternative much faster than the existing process. Further, it is almost impossible to directly input the wind load by calculating the area of an irregularly curved surface. However, the proposed method automatically assigns the wind load, which allows for automatic optimization in a structural analysis system. The approach was applied and optimized using several models, and the results are presented.

  • Recently, automated construction machines have been developed for technically solving construction industry problems such as labor, productivity, quality and the profit decrease. In domestic construction industry, a research for developing an intelligent excavation robot has been performed. The primary objective of this research is to analysis state-of-the art technologies in order to recognize local ground shape in real-time and compute soil volume of earth moving. This research analyzed five elemental technologies for 3D modeling of local ground shape and selected an optimal technology among the five technologies through using AHP method. It is anticipated that the optimal technology selected for 3D modeling of local ground shape can be effectively used to develop the intelligent excavation robot.

  • In the library catalog, the scalability of information acquisition can be guaranteed by expressing various relationships existing between resources. Such a bibliographical relationship can be realized through the authority record. Therefore, the revision of 「KORMARC Format for Authority Data」, the national standard for authority records, is inevitably important. Therefore, for the revision of 「KORMARC Format for Authority Data」, (1) the latest international cataloging trends were analyzed, (2) the opinions of librarians were collected, (3) internal guidelines used for authority work were analyzed, and (4) latest version of MARC21 were analyzed. In addition, for the continuous revision of 「KORMARC Format for Authority Data」, the revision procedure of MARC21 was investigated to draw implications for the KORMARC revision method. Data was collected and utilized through literature reviews, MARC21 analysis, interviews with professors and librarians.

  • With the rapid increase in the quantity of goods transported worldwide, companies are now started to show great interest in unmanned automated warehouses along with related research and development due to the increase of warehouse efficiency and reduction warehouse manpower. In a number of small warehouses, shuttle rack-based layouts that can handle inventory flow flexibly. However, the shuttle rack-based logistics center does not operate in case of emergency situations (faults, power outages, etc.), which seriously affects the efficiency and inventory management of the entire logistics center. Accordingly, in shuttle rack-based logistics center, we have classified various shuttle passages and RTV passages by layout and have analyzed its characteristics and types, along with derived reliability for each layout. The loading rate was also derived differently according to the number of passages, and have compared and analyzed reliability and loading rate for each layout.

A Study on the Automation Algorithm to Identify the Geological Lineament using Spatial Statistical Analysis (공간통계분석을 이용한 지질구조선 자동화 알고리즘 연구)

  • Recently, tunneling under the seabed is becoming increasingly common in many countries. In Korea, there are proposals to tunnel from the mainland to Jeju Island. Safe construction requires geologic structures such as faults to be characterized during the design and construction phase; however, unlike on land, such structures are difficult to survey seabed. This study aims to develop an algorithm that uses geostatistics to automatically derive large-scale geological structures on the seabed. The most important considerations in this method are the optimal size of the moving window, the optimal type of spatial statistics, and determination of the optimal percentile standard. Finally, the optimal analysis algorithm was developed using the R program, which comprehensibly presents variations in spatial statistics. The program allows the type and percentile standard of spatial statistics to be specified by the user, thus enabling an analysis of the geological structure according to variations in spatial statistics. The geotechnical defense-training algorithm shows that a large, linear geological lineament is best visualized using a $3{\times}3$ moving window and a 10% upper standard based on the moving variance value and fractile. In particular, setting the fractile criterion to the upper 0.5% almost entirely eliminates the error values from the contour image.

A Study of the Advanced Strategy for ICT-based Public Compensation Business (ICT 기반 공익사업 보상업무 첨단화 방안 연구)

  • Compensation services that are indispensable during large-scale public utilities projects have been gradually increasing with the recent increase in construction, but there are no systematic compensation services due to the complicated procedures and manual work. For this reason, various problems such as construction period delays due to various complaints, corruption in compensation work, and impossible to trace the history of compensation data in the past are emerging. In this paper, in order to solve this problem, in-depth interviews and questionnaires were conducted to find out the problems of each compensation status. Based on this, 3 core technologies and 10 technical needs based on ICT were selected to improve the compensation work by deriving STEEP analysis and Issue Tree. The three core technologies are big data-based decision-making and prediction technology, advanced measurement technology, and open cloud-based compensation platform technology. In order to introduce the derived technologies to the institutions in charge of compensation, the possibility of technology diffusion by project operators was suggested based on the results of the current status of informatization by institution. Based on the core technology derived from this paper, it is necessary to make a prototype that can be advanced in compensation work and apply it to each institution and analyze the effect.

  • This paper provides a systematic way of integrating human intelligence and autonomous precision of robots to achieve the highest possible performance of a cooperating robot system. Adjustable autonomy, which deals with the combination of human and robotic skills, has the potential to bridge the gap which leaves many tasks suited to robotics beyond the reach of existing technology. Especially we will show that relevant human assistance or intervention will increase system performance by improving the exception handling capability, simplifying autonomous operation, and boosting speed and reliability. To support the usefulness of our scheme, a series of experiments were conducted with three cooperating robots which work together to dock both ends of a long suspended beam into stanchions.

  • 국내의 건설산업은 '11년 기준 580억불 수주를 달성하는 등 비약적인 양적성장을 이루어왔다. 하지만 이러한 외형적인 성장에도 불구하고 고부가가치 창출을 위한 질적성장의 발전속도는 매우 더딘 상황이다. 이에 국토해양부에서는 건설사업 전 단계에 발생하는 각종 건설정보들을 체계적으로 관리하고 건설사업비 진행의 효율성을 높이기 위해 건설정보화사업(건설CALS)을 추진중에 있다. CALS는 제조업의 모든 상품, 즉 주요장비 또는 다양한 상품 등을 획득하기 위한 설계, 생산과정, 또는 보급, 조달 및 이를 운영하는 운용지원과정을 연결시키고, 이들 과정에서 사용되는 각종 정보를 표준이라는 공통 창구를 통해 디지털화하여 컴퓨터상으로 정보를 통합하여 자동화시키는 개념이다. 이는 컴퓨터 네트워크를 이용해 상호 교환이 이루어지는 자동화되고 통합된 환경으로 변환시키는 정부와 기업간의 경영전략이라고 볼 수 있다. 이에 국내에서 진행중인 건설CALS사업현황을 고찰하고 급변하는 건설정보화 환경에 맞춰 능동적으로 대응하여 건설CALS가 건설산업의 신성장동력이 될수 있는 향후 발전방향을 도출하고자 한다.
