디젤엔진오일의 국제성능규격 추세와 올바른 선택요령

  • 각 나라 자동차 엔진메이커들은 그 나라의 기후, 환경, 도로사정 등 그 중요도에 따라 독자적인 성능규격을 실시하고 있으며 특히 우리나라도 기후, 지형 및 사용연료인 디젤유황함량 등의 조건에 맞는 공동의 독자적인 엔진 test method 및 규격제정이 필요한 시기가 도래하였다고 보며, 국내 자동차 메이커들이 전 세계로 수출하는 과정에서 그 해당나라의 엔진요구 규격을 잘 인식하고 자동차수출에 따른 AS 및 오일추천을 정립하여, 오일에 의한 엔진트러블 등을 방지해야 할 것이며, 국내에 유럽 및 일본식 엔진이 70~80% 시장성을 갖고 운행되고 있다는 점을 인식하여 그 적합한 유럽의 CCMC 규격과 유럽의 유명 자동차메이커의 규격에 대해 잘 알아야 할 것이며, 엔진오일의 성능등급에 대한 잘못된 인식과 오일선택으로 고가 차량의 엔진트러블 및 잦은 수리로 소비자나 국가적으로 경제적 손실의 발생을 방지하는 디젤엔진오일의 올바른 선택과 요령을 정리하였다.

  • If we can forecast the replacement time of engine oil, we extend the life-time of our engine and increase the continued ratio. But, the replacement times of engine oil is influenced by the following elements: the distance that cars or vehicles travel, vehicles that run a short range, types of engine oil etc. that run a long distance. In this paper, We forecast engine oil replacement times by using fuzzy neural network algorithm. This algerian uses the data of distance covered, color of engine oil etc. Through a sequence of simulation, the exchange system of intelligence style engine oil decides on the replacement times of engine oil quite accurately. Therefore, We expect vehicles to become more convenient if the above algorithm is a lied to the present types of cars.

  • 자동차용 가솔린 엔진유의 품질은 엔진성능의 향상과 함께 점진적으로 발전되면서 서비스 수준에 의한 분류로 SA급에서부터 SF급까지 발전되어 왔다. 그러나 지난 1980년에 SF급 오일이 설정된 이후 8년이 지나서 새로운 가솔린 엔진 오일의 규격인 SG급이 1988년에 설정되었다. 본 고에서는 왜 SG급이 필요한가, 또 SF에 비해 어떤면이 얼마나 가혹하게 되었는가에 관하여 자세히 보고자 한다.

  • Automobile engine oil is the most important lubricant for operating as the engine is started. Recently, manufacturers of the automotive industry and lubricants are considerably improving the quality of oil with additive to extend change cycle period. Most customers are recommended genuine oil among different types from shop expert. Through this report we suggest another reference point for consumer to pick highly efficient lubricant. This report is investigated oil compounds to compare with 6 different automotive considering actual running condition for 7 months. we conducted experiment from physical and chemical perspectives. In the field, through various experiments oil compounds between mineral oil and synthetic oil are largely distinguished in oxidation, viscosity, fluid and TBN. These are influenced by engine part wear as piston, bearing etc. Comparing various investigation with different oil the performance of synthetic oil is shown better condition in flash point, oxidation stability and also found less in change pollutant iron, Al compounds. Additives of oil show clear difference Ca level in detergent-dispersant both mineral oil and synthetic oil. And Zn in extreme pressure additives and P in Lubricity improver make no difference to both.

  • The lubricational characteristics about friction and wear has an important effect on the material quality of surface. Therefore, in the case of automobile engine oil which is used under severe running condition, or therefore, the seizure and anti-scuffing is very important. We have studied the lubricational characteristics of auto engine oil with additives using Falex wear test machine. We have obtained the studied result is as fellows. In order to more improved the surface roughness characteristics adding the P(phosphate) as additives is excellent at a low temperature. Adding the ZnDTP and Ca-phenate is excellent on the anti-wear and extreme pressure properties at the high load. Moreover, when the ZnDTP and P are added, the temperature properties is excellent because the stability is maintained in a high temperature.

Study of Oil Jet Effect on the Temperature of Piston Head (피스톤 헤드 온도에 오일 제트가 미치는 영향에 대한 연구)

  • As the performance of engines improves, the temperature of engines is increasing, resulting in a high piston temperature. An excessively high piston temperature may result in torque drop or engine failure. An oil jet is used to reduce the piston temperature. In this study, to monitor the effect of oil jet, a templug was used to measure the piston temperature. A templug is a kind of sensor and the hardness of the templug changes according to the piston temperature. Using a templug, the maximum temperature of the piston was measured with and without an oil jet. The piston temperature was lowered using the oil jet. The highest temperature region changed from the center crown to the front/rear area. In addition, the temperature difference between the highest and lowest regions became smaller.

  • 디젤엔진에서 윤활오일의 소모량이 점진적으로 증가하는 것은 비정상적인 시린더 마모 때문이다. 시린더 라이너의 작동기구를 L-link 피스톤운동 측정장치로 조사하여 피스톤 top-land의 탄소분 축적이 비정상시린더 마모의 주요 원인임이 증명되었다. 또 피스톤 top-land의 축소는 마모 방지의 유용한 방법인 것으로 이론과 실제에서 입증되었다. 오일 소모와 시린더 마모에 영향을 미치는 다른 요소들에 관해서도 살펴보았다.

  • 본 연구는 인간에게 있어서 정보의 습득으로 가장 쉬운 음성을 이용하여 자동차의 정보를 전달하는 운전자의 지원 시스템의 구현에 관한 내용으로, 제작된 시스템은 여러 가 지 입력 신호(연료량, 엔진 냉각수 온도, 오일 압력, 자동차 속도, 엔진 속도, 문 열림 경고, 안전 벨트 경고, 주차 브레이크 등)에 따라 음성 경고 문장을 발생하게 된다.

  • A coil-type capacitive sensor on which the deterioration of the car engine oil can be in situ measured, has been developed. The sensor was designed to get over 10 pF at the limited space on the drain hole of the oil pan. The design factors for stable capacitance measurement such as coil diameter and winding condition, materials and configuration of the coil former, and shielding method, etc., were known by both computer simulation and experimental investigations. The dielectric properties measured by several sensors for an used sample oil were consisted within 0.25%. The sensor installed on the car having severe vibration, temperature and humidity fluctuation, even electromagnetic noise, has shown very distinguishable results.
