Development of Automatic Idle Stop Control System with Signals of ECU and TCU (ECU 및 TCU 신호를 이용한 자동차의 공회전 자동정지 제어 시스템 개발)

  • In this study, an automatic idle stop control system was developed, which automatically stops the idle state engine as it detects the stop state of the car for several seconds and restarts the stopped engine with the driver's electrical signal. It is composed of microprocessor and the related electronic circuits and communicates with ECU and TCU. With accurate and confirmed operating performance, the control system was equipped in the test car which was proceeded the ECE15+EUDC mode test. It is confirmed that the control system, ASG has much favourable effects on reducing the fuel consumption and harmful exhaust emissions.

  • 현재 우리나라에서 사용 중인 신호시스템은 지상신호 방식인 자동폐색장치(ABS)를 사용한다 이는 선로를 패색구간으로 배분한 후, 각각의 패색 구간에 설치된 신호기에 의해 열차의 이동을 실행한다 이러한 신호체계에 문제점이 발생할 경우, 기관사에게 주의를 환기시켜 강제적으로 열차를 정지시키는 역할을 하는 자동열차정지장치(ATS)가 1969년부터 도입, 사용 중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 ATS 시스템의 고속, 고밀도 운전 적용 가능성 및 차상신호방식 사용시의 ATS 적용 가능성에 대해 분석한다.

A Conceptual Study of Positioning System for the Geostationary Satellite Autonomous Operation (정지궤도 위성의 자동운용을 위한 위치결정 시스템의 개념연구)

  • Even more than 240 commercial geostationary communication satellites currently on orbit at the higher location than the GPS orbit altitude perform their own missions only by the support of the ground segment because of weak visibility from GPS. In addition, the orbit determination accuracy is very low without using two or more dedicated ground tracking antennas in intercontinental ground segment, since the satellite hardly moves with respect to the ground station. In this paper, we propose the GSPS(Geostationary Satellite Positioning System) in circular orbits of two sidereal days period higher than the geosynchronous orbit for orbit determination and autonomous satellite operation. The GSPS is conceived as a ranging system in that unknown positions of a geostationary satellite can be acquired from the known positions of the GSPS satellites. Each GSPS satellite transmits navigation data, clock data, correction data, and geostationary satellite command to control a geostationary satellite.

A Study on Automatic Operation Control of Autonomous Ships (자율운항선박의 운항 자동제어 기초 연구)

  • In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the interest in autonomous ship technology is increasing as high-tech technologies are being increasingly utilized throughout the industry. Therefore, we conducted a basic study on autonomous ships. In particular, a passenger ship model was produced and an autonomous navigation system was established by applying the ardupilot used for drones. The possibility of automatic control of the autonomous ship operations was confirmed by executing various voyage plans using the built model ship. In the performance test for maintaining the course the model ship could not follow the designated course straight and sailed up to 5.4 m away from the course while navigating in a zigzag (S-shape); however, after the parameters were modified, the deviation distance was reduced to a maximum of 1.8 m. In the turning performance test, the maximum diameter of the turning sphere was found to be approximately 9.3 m, but no significant change could be confirmed even after the parameters were modified. However, the results of our tests on slowing down the ship before arriving at the WP confirmed that the diameter of the turning sphere was reduced to a maximum of approximately 3.2 m. In order to evaluate the stopping performance, the last scheduled stopping position of all experiments was compared with the actual stopping position of the model ship and it was confirmed that the model ship stopped at a point at least 0.4 m and a maximum of 6.2 m away from the stopping position. In the future, improvement of course stability, turning performance, and stopping performance is required through modification and supplementation of various parameters. Moreover, a study on automatic berthing of the model ship through automatic control is planned.

  • 자동수문이란 설정된 관리수위 이하에서는 수문이 개방되지 않고, 유량이 증가하여 관리수위 이상이 되면 수문이 개방되어 관리수위까지 방류하게 되면 다시 수문이 닫히게 되어 자동으로 관리수위를 유지한다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 연직 자동수문의 방류특성이 수동식 연직수문과 다른 점은 유량에 따라서 수문 개방고의 증감과 수문개폐가 자동으로 이루어진다는 것이다. 따라서 자동수문의 운영 중 수문개방고의 거동과 자동개폐 시점을 예측하는 것은 정밀한 수문설계를 위해 매우 중요하다. 수문 개방 시 흐름이 정지되어있다고 가정하면, 정수압 상태의 부력이론에 의한 부력수문의 개방고는 어렵지 않게 계산할 수 있다. 그러나, 흐름이 정지되어 있다가 수문의 하단으로 방류가 시작되면 수문 선단을 포함한 주변에 압력 차이로 인해 동수압 하중이 발생하게 되어 수문에 진동을 유발하고, 수문개방을 억제하는 힘이 발생하여 수문 운영에 큰 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 부력식 수문의 모형실험을 통하여 정수압 상태의 부력이론에 의한 수문 개방율과 측정에 의한 수문 개방율을 비교하였으며, 압력계수를 이용하여 이론과 측정 수문 개방고의 차이는 동적하중에 의한 효과임을 확인하였다. 모형실험에서 측정된 자료와 수치모형 ANSYS - Fluent의 사용성을 검증하였고, 부력식 수문의 형상에 따른 동적하중을 분석하였다. 수문 형상비는 0.24~1.09로 설정하였고, 분석결과 부력식 수문은 수문 개방율이 커짐에 따라 압력계수는 감소하는 경향을 보였으며, 동적하중은 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 또한, 부력식 수문의 형상비에 따라서는 형상비가 증가함에 따라 동적하중이 감소하는 관계를 확인하였다.

  • The number of patients with cardiovascular diseases who experience an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) are increasing among young adults as well as the aged population. An automated external defibrillator (AED) is vital in improving survival rates of OHCA victims. Survival rates of OHCA were shown to decline exponentially in time to defibrillation, yet studies in Korea are uncommon that captures the properties of their survival rates in examining optimal locations of AEDs. In this study, we worked on the maximal gradual coverage location problem (MGCLP) with exponential decay coverage function to decide on their optimal locations. The exponential decay coverage function mitigates the drawback of over-estimating survival rates of OHCA patients. It is expected that a more sophisticated facility location problem will be developed to identify the "emergent" characteristics of pedestrians who responds to the OHCA occurrence by incorporating random pedestrian locations and movement through simulation.

  • 본 논문은 해남-제주간 직류송전설비(HVDC)의운영 중 변환설비 제어에 사용되는 PT전원 상실에 의한 설비 불시 정지의 해결 방안으로 한국전력공사에서 연구 개발 및 운영 중인 고속도 PT자동절체기에 관한 사항이다. 특히, PT전원 상실시 HVDC가 설비 정지되는 것을 예방하기 위해 반도체소자(TRIAC)를 이용한 고속도 PT 자동절체기를 개발하여 설비 신뢰성을 확보한 내용에 대하여 고찰하였다.

  • We developed an approach to automatically synthesize time-stationary controllers for a given pipelined data path of Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs). This work consists of automated production of control specifications and Finite State Machine (FSM) Optimization. A FSM controller is implemented by performing horizontal partitioning so as to minimize the total controller area. We compared our approach to published work on FSM generation and optimization, and the results indicate large savings in total controller area.
