This study is the one group pretest-posttest design study with a view to evaluate the effects of convergence-based education on core basic nursing skills on self-efficacy, confidence and department satisfaction of lower-class nursing students. The subject of this study was 80 sophomore nursing students, the data was collected from March to April 2016. The self-efficacy, confidence and department satisfaction of the target students before and after the education were evaluated using the structured survey, and after the education, the performance ability of the target students was evaluated. The collected data were analyzed through paired t-test. The results of this study showed that all the self-efficacy(p=.045), confidence(p<.001) and department satisfaction(p=.018) increased significantly, indicating that the convergence-based education on core basic nursing skills was effective for improving the self-efficacy, confidence and department satisfaction of lower-class nursing students.

This descriptive research study identified the factors affecting the nursing process confidence of nursing students. The study's data was collected from June 13th 2017 to June 30th, 2017. Informed consent was received from 129 students who were in their second year of nursing college. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS WIN 18.0 program. The score for self-directed learning ability was 3.45, the score for a critical thinking disposition was 3.55, and the score for nursing process confidence was 3.68. There was significant positive correlation between nursing process confidence and self-directed learning ability (r=.572, p<.001) and critical thinking disposition (r=.488, p<.001). The factor affecting the confidence in the nursing process was self-directed learning ability(32.2%). Educational methods based on building the self-directed learning ability are needed to enhance the nursing process. There are limitations in discussing the results of this study due to the lack of prior research. Further study is needed to confirm the results of this research and the relationships it revealed.

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of self-efficacy, major satisfaction, and clinical practice stress on the confidence in performing core nursing skills of nursing students. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire for 142 3,4th graders of K University's nursing department in Gyeongsangbukdo and analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. As a result of the study, the confidence in performing core nursing skills according to general characteristics showed a significant difference in grade(F=-2.08, p<0.05). Confidence in performing core nursing skills showed a significant positive correlation with self-efficacy(r=.50, p<.001) and major satisfaction(r=.62, p<.001), and factors influencing confidence in performing core nursing care were found to have 41.7% explanatory power with major satisfaction(β=.49, p=.002) and self-feeicacy(β=.24, p<.001). Based on the results of this study, it seems necessary to establish an educational strategy to improve the confidence in performing core nursing skills and to improve self-efficacy and major satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is to identify the correlations among learning self-efficacy, confidence in performance, perception of importance and transfer intention for core basic nursing skill in nursing students. The subjects of this study were 2nd grade students at a nursing university. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 program. As a result, the transfer intention had a correlation with the learning self-efficacy (r=.49, p<.001), confidence in performance (r=.30, p=.006), perception of the importance (r=.31, p=.005). The results of this study suggest that further research is necessary to verify the causal relationship between the transfer intention and the related variables in order to develop an effective education program for promoting the transfer intention.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate relationship among self-directed learning, confidence of performance, clinical learning environment and Clinical Competency of nursing students. Methods: 178 nursing students participated. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and pearson's correlation coefficients with IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0. Results: Mean score of self-directed learning, confidence of performance, clinical learning environment and clinical competency was 3.36, 3.42, 3.20 and 3.66 points. There was significant positive correlation among self-directed learning, confidence of performance, clinical learning environment and clinical competency. Conclusion: Therefore, in order to improve the clinical competency of nursing students, it is necessary to systematize core nursing skills education and continuously improve the clinical learning environment through close industry-academia cooperation and relationship.

최근 대학의 진로지도는 재학생들에게 산업 현장에서의 경험을 제공함으로써 학교에서 배운 전공지식을 기업현장에 적용하여 전공과 관련된 실무경험을 축적하는데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 이러한 맥락에서 대학에서의 현장실습은 더욱 강화되고 있는 추세이며 이를 통해 학생들이 습득하는 산업현장에 관한 경험, 정보와 아이디어가 진로에 대한 자신감을 향상시켜 졸업 후 고용획득 뿐만 아니라 창업의 동기로 작용하기도 하는지 확인하는 것은 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 진로에 대한 자신감을 향상시켜 이에 따른 행동을 이끌어 내기 위한 동기적 측면에 관한 연구를 수행하고자 한다. 이와 함께 능동적이고 계획적으로 진로를 선택해 나가는 자기주도적 경력태도와 기업가정신에 따라 현장실습경험이 고용가능성과 창업의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 분석할 것이다. 본 연구에서 예상되는 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 현장실습 경험은 대학생이 인식한 고용가능성에 유의한 영향을 미치며 창업의도에도 직접적으로 영향을 줄 것이다. 둘째, 대학생의 자기주도적 경력태도는 현장실습 경험에 따른 고용가능성과 창업의도 사이에 유의한 영향을 미칠 것이다. 셋째. 대학생의 기업가정신은 현장실습 경험에 따른 고용가능성과 창업의도 사이에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이다.

This study shows whether the 14-week picture story reading program offered to the multi-cultural women has effects on encouraging their confidence. As a result of the study, (1) this program helped them to have confidence in reading Korean books. (2) However, it did not help them raise confidence in themselves. (3) This story reading program offered a lot of factors to help them have confidence in living in Korea. (4) The women had dreams, but they did not have enough confidence and information to make their dreams come true. Based on these results, this study suggests that libraries should provide multi-cultural women with bibliotherapy programs, multi-cultural community groups and classes for multi-cultural house wives, and information literacy programs through picture story books to help make their lives in Korea easier.

This study aimed to identify the factors affecting confidence in performance of fundamental nursing skills in nursing students. Participants were 318 nursing students who haven't had clinical practice experiences to the point of data collection in two universities in B and U cities. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Scheff? test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression. The mean scores of self-directed learning ability, satisfaction with practicum, and confidence in performance of fundamental nursing skills were $3.38{\pm}0.40$, $3.93{\pm}0.59$, and $3.40{\pm}0.61$, respectively. Correlations were found between confidence in performance of fundamental nursing skills and self-directed learning ability (r=.289, p<.001) and satisfaction with practicum (r=.353, p<.001), and between self-directed learning ability and satisfaction with practicum (r=.393, p<.001). Factors influencing the confidence in the performance of fundamental nursing skills were satisfaction with practicum (${\beta}=.24$, p<.001), self-directed learning ability (${\beta}=.15$, p=.010), and attitude to practicum participation (${\beta}=.13$, p=.027). These factors explained 15.6% of the variance in the participants' confidence in performance of fundamental nursing skills. Therefore, effective nursing educational programs need to be developed in order to foster confidence in the performance of fundamental nursing skills of nursing students by enhancing self-directed learning ability, satisfaction with practicum and active attitude to practicum participation.

본 연구는 핵심기본간호술을 중심으로 간호학생이 학년별에 따라 학습경험, 중요도 인식, 수행자신감 학습 자기효능감에 어떤 차이가 있는지를 파악하기 위해 실시한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 D지역 소재 일개대학 간호학과 재학중인 231명이었으며, 자료 수집은 2015년 5월에서 6월 까지 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 21.0 Program을 이용하여 t-test로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 대상자의 학습경험은 학년간의 유의한 차이가 있었다(t=5.009, p<.001). 핵심기본간호술 난이도에 따른 학년별 학습경험의 차이검정을 살펴보면 핵심술 상영역, 핵심술 중영역, 핵심술 하영역에서 모두 학년간에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 중요성인식은 학년간에 유의한 차이는 없었다(t=.288, p>.773). 핵심기본간호술 난이도에 따른 학년별 차이는 핵심술 상영역과 핵심술 하영역은 학년간에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 그러나 핵심술 중영역은 학년간의 유의한 차이가 없었다. 수행자신감은 학년간에 유의한 차이가 있었다(t=7.845, p<.001). 핵심기본간호술 난이도에 따른 학년별 수행자신감의 차이를 살펴보면 핵심술 상영역, 핵심술 중영역, 핵심술 하영역모두에서 학년간에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 학습 자기효능감은 학년간에 유의한 차이가 있었다(t=2.370, p<.019). 따라서 본 연구결과를 토대로 각 학년별 효율적인 실습운영 방안을 모색할 필요가 있으며, 아울러 학습경험을 높이고 중요성인식에 따른 학습경험을 높이고 수행자신감과 학습 자기효능감을 증진시킬 수 있는 교과과정 모색이 절실히 필요하다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of self reflective practice using cellular phone video recordings on self-confidence in performance, practice satisfaction, learning self-efficacy and core basic nursing skills achievement. A quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group posttest design was used. Participants were recruited from one nursing colleges. The sample consisted of an experimental group (n=43) that participated in the self reflective practice using cellular phone video recordings program and a control group (n=43). The data of self-confidence in performance, practice satisfaction, and learning self-efficacy were collected using self-administered questionnaires from March 2, 2018 to May 30. The core basic nursing skills achievement was evaluated by two researchers. Data analyzed using ${\chi}^2$-test and independent t-test. After the intervention, self-confidence in performance, learning self-efficacy and core basic nursing skills achievement significantly increased in the experimental group compared with the control group. Findings indicated that, this program can be recommended as an effective educational program for the nursing student to improve their fundamental nursing skills.
