This study is strategically researched to regain the signification of capstone design by correcting the errors neglected the importances of meetings in the convergent English translation capstone design. For this, intial-meetings were designed to be students-centered except for explaining some basic knowledge and information. Mid-meetings were completely students-centered for the students to present their ideas, debate the contents and give feedbacks to one another. Final-meetings were also students-centered for the students to adjust and confirm the results. To validate the importance of students-centered meetings, the qualitative study has been done through interviewing students. In the interviews, almost all of them said they had motivation, confidence, and self-efficacy. Finally attempting capstone design in the future, students-centered meetings should be considered important. Hopefully this kind of capstone design will be used and studied continuedly and lively as a useful method in the field of English education.

In this study, we designed and developed new Blog community for the improvement of Self-directed learning competency. We analyzed the effect through series of tests on Self-directed learning competency to obtain the following results. As a result of inspecting the same quality of Self-directed learning competency, this study shows the learning in utilizing weblog suggested that it has more significant difference in improving Self-directed competency than utilizing the normal homepage for learning. Moreover, according to the inspection of low measurement, motivation control and acting control made a significant difference, but the cognitive area has no significance. In conclusion, the proper learning and operation in the class in utilizing Blog community suggested that through the study of Self-directed learning competency is the best because it affects the learner's motivation and behavior.

This study examined the analyses of students and teachers' perceptions on learning style in IBL. This study analyzed 386 elementary school (ES) and 627 middle school (MS) students and 130 cyber teachers how they perceived learning styles in IBL. They filled out the 15 items questionnaire about three different learning styles (self-directed preference style, cooperative preference style, and dependent style) in IBL, and were compared their perceptions in terms of students comparisons (ES vs. MS) and students and teachers comparisons. The results showed that the students and teachers preferred the self-directed preference learning style rather than cooperative preference style and dependent styles. However, the teachers judged the students more likely self-directed and dependent style than the students judged themselves. Also, there were statistically significant differences between ES and MS students on the dependent learning style and ES and MS teachers as well. In conclusion, this study suggests the different design and development strategies in IBL contents for ES and MS students preferred teaming styles. Tutoring strategies for cyber teachers should be also developed to understand learners' different loaming styles in IBL.

All of the students must trace to the predetermined course of curriculum in traditional education system. There are some absurdity that nearly the same subjects, which are different each other, are treating partially the same contents. Therefore This paper proposes the cyber-educational system which constructs curriculum divided to modular parts for efficient self-directed learning in performing internet-based remote education. The preliminary experiment for two subjects shows that the proposed system gives about 9.4％ of time reduction than traditional system.

This study is to develop an instructional model for expanding reading debate topic. Also, effects on reading attitude and self-directed learning are identified in this study. The instructional model is implemented for target students, elementary school students. This model was evaluated by a pre-test and a post-test, targeting on students in fourth grade. As a result, this model is effective on developing reading habits and establishing self-directed attitude.

최근 디지털 교과서를 중심으로 교육 인프라가 전환되었다. 본 연구는 디지털 교과서의 상용화와 맞춤형 교육을 제공하기 위해 가상현실 기반 맞춤형 언어학습 시스템을 제안하였다. VR 에서 말하기, 듣기, 쓰기의 상호작용이 가능한 시스템을 구현하였고 자기주도적 맞춤형 학습이 가능하도록 학습요소를 시각화 하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 자기주도적 맞춤형 학습이 가능해짐에 따라 코로나-19 로 인해 양극화된 교육 격차의 해소가 가능할 것이다.

In accordance with the educational paradigm that values self-directed creative education, school libraries and public libraries emphasize self-directed learning support through curriculum-linked programs as their main tasks. For self-directed learning, it is essential to provide learner-centered educational knowledge information, and there should be abundant textbook-linked references that can deepen and expand the curriculum reflected in textbooks. This study established KDC-linked information related to unit and cross-curricular learning topics through the analysis of elementary school textbooks and curriculum-linked books, restructured KDC system based on major subjects in the elementary school curriculum, and established a curriculum-linked subject information. Libraries can strengthen support for self-directed creative learning for elementary school students in an online environment by linking library content targeted for each user with elementary school education content focusing on learning topics in the curriculum.

최근 텍스트 생성형 인공지능인 ChatGPT가 화두가 되면서 생성형 인공지능을 이용한 서비스에 사람들의 관심이 높아졌다. 이를 활용하여 시간과 비용이 많이 드는 분야인 외국어 작문 학습을 자기 주도적으로 학습할 수 있을 것이라 조망하였다. 따라서 텍스트 생성형 인공지능인 ChatGPT API를 활용하여 사용자가 자기 주도적으로 외국어를 학습할 수 있는 방향성을 제시하고 더욱 쉽고 저렴한 비용으로 외국어를 익힐 수 있도록 하는 시스템을 개발한다.

The purpose of the present study was to examine the relationship between individual values, nature-relatedness, and happiness in a sample of Korean university students(N=224). Specially, we used Schwartz's PVQ, life satisfaction, positive affect, psychological well-being, social well-being, and Korean Happiness scale to measure values and happiness. According to the bivariate correlational analysis, generally, there were positive correlation between benevolence, self-direction, universalism, stimulation and one of 5 happiness measurements and there was negative correlation between achievement and life satisfaction. Nature-relatedness were positively related with five types of happiness measurements. According to the hierarchical regression, demographic variables(sex, religion, economic levels), value types, and nature-relatedness explained 25%~36% of variance in happiness. Value was more related with psychological well-being than life satisfaction, positive affect, social well being, Korean happiness scale. This results emphasize the importance of healthy value(benevolence, self-direction) and provision of opportunities contact with nature to promote human happiness.

입시위주의 주입식교육에 적응되어있는 대학생들의 기초학력 저하는 대학의 정상적인 교육과정 운영에 심각한 문제를 초래하고 있다. 또한 기초학습 능력의 부족은 학교생활 부적응을 초래하기 때문에 생각보다 심각한 상황이 아닐 수 없다. 자기 스스로 학습 수준을 파악하고 계획적인 학습 습관을 정립 할 수 있는 학생주도형 학습공동체 활동은 교과에 대한 이해와 관심을 끌어올리고 동시에 학습의욕을 향상 시킬 수 있다. 많은 대학이 학생주도형 학습공동체 활동으로 튜터링을 운영하고 있으나 운영방법상의 문제점으로 많은 효과를 보지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 학생주도형 학습공동체 활동 시스템의 문제점의 하나인 활동보고서의 서면 제출을 안드로이드 기반으로 하여 간단하게 제출 할 수 있는 시스템을 연구하였다. 안드로이드 기반 학생주도형 학습공동체 활동 관리 시스템은 튜터의 제출보고서 작성 부담을 줄여주고, 운영기관에서는 효율적으로 관리 할 수 있는 시스템이다.
