Combination System Design of 5G Candidate Modulation and Full Duplex Communication for the Spectrum Efficiency Enhancement (스펙트럼 효율 향상을 위한 전이중 통신 방식과 5G 후보 변조기술과의 결합시스템 설계)

  • In this paper, we propose and design a SSD(Simultaneous Single band Duplex) system using 5G(Generation) candidate modulations. Especially, we consider HPA(High Power Amplifier) nonlinearity in the proposed system. And then, we evaluate and analyze performance of the proposed system. As simulation results, performance of SSD-OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing), SSD-FMC (Universal Filtered Multi-Carrier), and SSD-FBMC(Filter Bank Multi-Carrier) is severely degraded by HPA nonlinearity. However, performance of SSD-OFDM, SSD-UFMC, and SSD-FBMC is similar in the same condition. That is, OFDM, UFMC, and FBMC have a similar PAPR(Peak to Average Power Ratio) characteristic. Finally, we can confirm that the proposed SSD system can not cancel(SI) self-interference effectively by strong HPA nonlinearity. That is, Reducing PAPR is important in order to avoid effect of HPA nonlinearity in the proposed SSD system.

At this time, this does not cause interference to the PU spectrum sensing technology is important. If you can choose, depending on the state of the channel spectrum sensing algorithm will be more efficient sensing. Matched filter detection system model that reflects the individual sensing through a fuzzy controller in this paper, energy detection and self-correlation detection are proposed and analyzed.

  • An effective scheme to detect and diagnose multiple failures in a dynamic system is described for the case where the measurement noise is correlated sequentially in time. It is based on the modified interacting multiple model (MIMM) estimation algorithm in which a generalized decorrelation process is developed by employing the autoregressive (AR) model for the colored noise and applying measurement difference method.

  • 본 논문에서는 수신단에서 간섭 단말들의 채널상태정보가 불완전한 무선 애드혹 네트워크에서 비모수 선형 MMSE 수신기를 사용하여 네트워크 전송 용량을 향상시키는 기법을 제안한다. 비모수 선형 MMSE 수신기는 수신신호의 자기 상관을 이용한다. 지정된 채널정보를 간섭과 잡음으로만 이루어진 관측들에 포함시킴으로써, 제안된 기법은 최적의 MMSE 전송 용량의 상당한 부분을 달성한다. 실제적인 애드혹 네트워크 시스템의 전송용량 모의실험을 통해 제안된 기법이 기존의 수신 알고리즘에 비해 상당한 성능 이득을 얻을 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • 자계 검출 센서는 여러 가지 종류가 있으나 벽면에 흐르는 미소 자계 및 차폐 전선에서 검출이 가능한 구조는 초전도 양자 간섭 소자(SQUID)가 주로 사용되지만 가격 및 물성 재료 특성으로 인하여 특수 용도로 사용되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 전선으로부터 발생되는 저주파 자장을 검출할 수 있고 휴대성 및 가격이 저렴한 구조인 코일형 자계측정기를 개발하기 위해 자기 코어 및 코일 Turn수 변화에 따른 자계 검출 감도를 조사하여 최적의 구조를 설정하였다.

  • Rare earth-aluminum intermetallic compounds $RAI_{2}$ (R ; Lu, Ce, Gd) are prepared by the arc-melt method and the magnetic properties and electronic structures are investigated by magnetic susceptiptibiliy measurements using SQUID magnetometer. The magnetic suceptibiliyof $LuAl_{2}$ is weakly temperature dependent and shows a Pauli susceptibility of $10.1{\times}10^{-5}$ emu/mol, which means 3.2 states/eV/formula unit. On the other hand, the susceptibility data of $CeAl_{2}$ and $GdAl_{2}$ show a Curie-Weiss behavior for paramagnets. The magnetization data at low temperatures confirm that $CeAl_{2}$ undergoes an antiferromagnetic phase transition near 4 K whereas $GdAl_{2}$ a ferromagnetic transition at 170 K. The distinctive magnetic behaviors of $RAI_{2}$ originate from the different 4f band filling.

  • In DS-CDMA method, Mobile Stations own jointly one radio channel and are made to use a PN code (Pseudo-Noise Code) for the purpose of minimize interference. However, corelation value of PN code is one when time delay is zero but the corelation value is 1 / N when time delay is not 0. Therefore corelation characteristic does not fully attained. As a result, when the user increase, the performance degradation and system capacity problem will be able to occur by interference among users. In this paper, the PN code has ideally self corelation. It was proved that PN code could depress interference from other users in multiple access system.

  • In case that multichannel blind deconvolution (MBD) applies to signals of which autocorrelation has a high level, separated signals are temporally whitened by diagonal elements of a separation filter matrix. In order to reduce this distortion, the algorithms, which are based on either constraining diagonal elements of a separation filter matrix or estimating a separation filter matrix by using linear prediction residual signals, are presented. Still, some problems are generated in these methods, when we separate reverberation of signals themselves or interference signals from mixed signals. To solve these problems, this paper proposes the multichannel blind deconvolution method which divides processing procedure into the stage to separate interference signals and the stage to eliminate a reverberation of signals themselves. In simulation results, we confirm that the proposed algorithm can solve the problems.

Development of Femtocell Simulator Based on LTE Systems for Interference and Performance Evaluation (간섭 및 성능 분석을 위한 LTE 시스템 기반 펨토셀 시뮬레이터 개발)

  • Recently, femtocell has been concerned as one of effective solutions to relieve shadow region and provide high quality services to users in indoor environments. Even though femtocell offers various benefits to cellular operators and users, many technical issues, such as interference coordination, network synchronization, self-configuration, self-optimization, and so on, should be solved to deploy the femtocell in current network. In this paper, we develop a simulator for evaluating performance of long term evolution (LTE) femtocell systems under various interference scenarios. The simulator consists of a main-module and five sub-modules. The main-module connects and manages five sub-modules which have the functionality managing user mobility, packet scheduling, call admission control, traffic generation, and modulation and coding scheme (MCS). To provide user convenience, the simulator adopts graphical user interface (GUI) which can observes simulation results in real time. We expect that this simulator can contribute to developing effective femtocell systems by supporting a tool for analyzing the effect of interference between macrocell and femtocell.

  • We propose a new type of OFDM-CDMA scheme which allows large inter-user timing offset using zero correlation zone(ZCZ) code in conjunction with block spreading technique. Moreover to maximize spectral efficiency, the proposed OFDMA does not have guard time(GT). This is opposite to the trends in the conventional schemes where GT are supposed to be larger to allow larger inter-user timing offset. It is remarkable that the proposed GT-free OFDM-CDMA scheme completely cancels inter-user interference in the multipath fading simply by despreading process. This inter-user interference-free feature still remains even there exist inter-user timing offsets as large as multiple OFDM symbols. Although the self-user interference exists due to no GT, it can be effectively suppressed by simple successive interference cancellation(SIC) from the first symbol in spread block as it is free from inter symbol interference(ISI).
