A Method of Detecting Real-Time Elevation of Privilege Security Module Using User Credentials (자격증명을 이용한 실시간 권한 상승 탐지 보안 모듈)

  • In a Linux system, a user with malicious intent can acquire administrator privileges through attack types that execute shells, and can leak important user information and install backdoor program. In order to solve this problem, the existing method is to analyze the causes of the elevation of privilege, fix the problems, and then patch the system. Recently, a method of detecting an illegal elevated tasks in which information inconsistency occurs through user credentials in real time has been studied. However, since this credential method uses uid and gid, illegal elevated tasks having the root credentials may not be detected. In this paper, we propose a security module that stores shell commands and paths executed with regular privileges in a table and compares them with every file accesses (open, close, read, write) that are executed to solve the case which cannot detect illegal elevated tasks have same credential.

The effects of skill-utilization based underemployment on self-esteem and mental health: Employment commitment and social support as moderators (기술활용도 측면의 불완전고용이 재취업자의 자아존중감과 정신건강에 미치는 영향: 일에 대한 몰입과 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • In this study, the effects of skill-utilization based underemployment on self-esteem and mental health were examined. Also the moderating effects of employment commitment and social support were verified. Data obtained by a longitudinally designed survey with the reemployed (N=153) after job loss were used. The skill-utilization based underemployment was measured in two ways. One is measured in the way that use objective data, the ratio of education - 'educational requirement for the current job' divided by 'individual educational attainment.' The other is measured in the way that use psychological and self-reported measure, two factors of overqualification - the absence of opportunity for growth (no-growth) and the occupational mismatch in educational attainment, skills and experiences (mismatch). The main effect revealed that the no-growth made self-esteem lower and mental health (GHQ-social maladjustment) worse. The significant interaction of the ratio of education and employment commitment indicates that the negative effects of underemployment measured by the ratio of education on mental health (GHQ-social maladjustment, GHQ-depression/anxiety) were greater for those perceiving low employment commitment than for those perceiving high employment commitment. The significant interaction of the ratio of education and social support indicates that the negative effects of underemployment measured by the ratio of education on mental health (GHQ-depression/anxiety) were greater for those perceiving low social support than for those perceiving high social support. The two moderators also interacted with the two factors of perceived overqualification. Employment commitment had significant interaction effects with the no-growth and the mismatch on self-esteem and mental health (GHQ-depression/anxiety), whereas social support had a significant interaction only with the no-growth on mental health (GHQ-depression/anxiety). The significant interactions show that employment commitment and social support function as buffers in reducing the negative effects of skill-utilization based underemployment on self-esteem and mental health.

  • The Purpose of local system attacks is to acquire administrator's(root) privilege shell through the execution of the malicious program or change the flow of the program. This acquiring shell through attack is still valid approach method and it is difficult to cope with improving each of vulnerability because the attacker can select various forms of attack. Linux allocate a set of credentials when login, in order to manage user permissions. Credentials were issued and managed by the kernel directly, and also the kernel ensures that any change cannot be occurred outside of kernel. But, user's credentials that acquired root privilege through system attacks occurs a phenomenon that does not remain consistent. In this paper we propose a security module to detect a security threats that may cause to users and tasks by analysis user task execution and inconsistency credentials.

The Analysis of Determinants of Currency Internationalization in a Multipolar World Economy and its Prospects (다극화시대의 국제통화 결정요인 분석 및 전망)

  • The emergence of new multipolar world economy along with the predominant growth of emerging economies encourages these emerging countries to internationalize their currencies. Currently the discrepancy between qualification and status of international currency is easily observed, and the emerging market currencies are no doubt underestimated considering their share of the world's economic size and trade volume. This paper studies the determinant factors of currency internationalization for five key currencies (US Dollar, Yen, Euro, Pound, and Swiss Franc). The analysis shows economic size, trade volume, and the stability of price and exchange rate are most important. Based on this result, Chinese Yuan is forecast to become a new international currency in the near future. Therefore, Korea needs to preempt the issue of regional economic integration, and even currency integration, by taking into account the possibility of internationalized Yuan.

  • The recent phenomenon of job "Miss Match", which is inconsistent with knowledge in the demand of educational training institutes and industries, has spread to an increase in private education costs for reeducation and employment of new hires, resulting in weak individual job competency and poor employment capability, as well as economic and material waste at the national level. To compensate for these problems, the National Competency Standards(NCS), which are available immediately in practice and look for a standard point of national job competency with the aim of fostering human resources sought by industries, were developed, and even the NCS-based qualification system was launched in line with the stream of times. This study is intended to look into the importance and priority of competency units and competency unit elements at the NCS-based qualification L3 level in the skin care field for an overall check of the NCS-based qualification level at a time when educational institutes are organizing and operating the school curriculums according to the NCS and NCS-based qualification level. And it is attempted to provide basic data for the development of curriculum in fostering professional human resources required by industries. To analyze the needs for competency units and competency unit elements at the L3 level, a survey using AHP method was carried out to a group of field experts and a group of education experts. In addition, the SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Science) ver. 21.0 and Expert Choice 2000, an AHP-only solution was used to do statistical processing through the processes of data coding and data cleaning. The findings showed that there was a partial difference of opinion between a group of field experts and a group of education experts. This indicates that the inconsistencies between educational training institutes and industrial sites should be resolved at this time of change with the aim of fostering field customized human resources with professional skills. Consequently, the solution is to combine jobs at industrial sites and standardized educations of educational institutes with human resources required at industrial sites.

Underemployment of the Reemployed: Antecedents and Effects on Organizational Adaptation (불완전고용의 선행요인 및 불완전고용이 조직 적응에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, multilateral conceptualizations of underemployment were measured in terms of wages, social status, skill utilization and permanence of the job, and then the effects of antecedents on underemployment and the effects of underemployment on organizational adaptation were examined. Data obtained by a longitudinally designed survey at intervals of 18 months with the reemployed(N = 153) after job loss were used. The underemployment measures include 1) the ratio of wage change 2) the ratio of status change 3) the ratio of education 4) the occurrence of change from the permanent job to temporary job, 5) overqualification - growth opportunity, 6) overqualification - mismatch. The first four measures are social-economic and objective measures and the last two measures are psychological and self-reported ones. Demographic variables(sex, age, education level, and period of unemployed), circumstantial variables(economic hardship, number of dependents), and psychological variables(job-seeking self-efficacy, depression/anxiety, latent function) are included in antecedents. In the effects of antecedents on underemployment, age increases the level of underemployment in the aspects of wage and job status. Economic hardship increases the possibility of underemployment in the aspects of education and number of dependents increases the possibility of underemployment in the aspects of job status. Job seeking self-efficacy decreases the possibility of underemployment in the overqualification - no growth. Retention of latent function during the period of unemployment lowers the possibility of underemployment in the overqualification - no growth. The level of depression and anxiety during the period of unemployment raises the possibility of underemployment in terms of education and in the overqualification - mismatch. In the effects of underemployment on organizational adaptation, the higher the level of underemployment in the aspect of education is, the lower the level of person-organization fit, emotional commitment, and job satisfaction are. And the transition from permanent job to temporary job makes emotional commitment and job satisfaction lower. No growth and mismatch exerted a significant influence on organizational adaptation generally.

  • This paper is to study adequacy of developing tutorial series for primary school students regarding MOS certification and to analyze a validity. In order to analyze a level of difficulty, current primary teaching materials being used after class, in comparison with ICT discretionary hour materials being used through primary discretionary class, were evaluated. It was done by primary teachers with in- depth understanding of a level of difficulty and after class instructors using Likert scale through quantitative analysis. As a result, level of PowerPoint has a satisfactory fit (76%), however, the degree of difficulty of Word and Excel is quite high. On its subject matter, there is quite a dispute with present curriculum. Therefore, in order to introduce MS-Word or Excel, it is necessary to adjust a level of difficulty or related subjects according to the level of students.

  • The The purpose of this study is to find the legal regulations of the National Education process monitoring team and challenges.The research method was used for literature research, and method of counseling, and methods.literature study used for national education process monitoring terminals related laws and status analysis, and legal interpretation was used for national education process monitoring related to the system and logic organize the system and logic of national education process monitoring.The interview was used directly and indirectly used to reduce errors in the development of law experts from the development of law and educational experts.The main contents of research was examined based on the need of legal nature and system based on the need of legal characteristics and system.Next, it was evaluated on the operation of the national education process monitoring team, and tasks based on these evaluation results. The results of discussion was presented separately divided into the issue of the Enforcement Decree of the Act, task, and the problem of the Enforcement Decree. The problem of the Enforcement Decree of the Act was discussed on the obligation of the purpose of the purpose of the purpose of the establishment, monitoring unit, monitoring unit and role of the compliance organization.The problem and tasks were discussed with negative synthesis of monitoring and monitoring complex definition of the qualification criteria for representativeity, monitoring range of monitoring and monitoring range of monitoring.As a result of these discussion, the reorganization and operation of the organization was requested to establish a special profit group based on expertise, there were room for special profit groups based on expertise.

  • Demand for information security consulting is increasing as the number of major information infrastructure facilities in the country is increasing and the subject of ISMS mandatory certification is expanded. The demand for manpower also increases, but the manpower to meet the needs of industry is scarce. In order to cultivate the manpower that meets the demand, the demand of the industry should be grasped first. Therefore, this study collected and analyzed job advertisements in Korea and the United States in order to grasp the needs of industry. This will contribute to the development of policy to cultivate human resources of consultants in accordance with the future demand of the enterprise, and ultimately it will be able to solve the quality disparity of security consulting personnel.

  • Appropriation means the process of transforming resources to property. John Locke earlier investigated the appropriation process of natural resources into the land property, which grounded the jurisprudential base of the private ownership of the land. In the same way human resources are transformed into the human assets. Appropriation process, very rarely studied so far, in this case of human property is the focus of this paper. The appropriation of intangible property is by far easier than the appropriation of tangible property. Learning is a process of embodiment, which naturally mean the process of appropriation. For the material resources which exist out of human body, appropriation necessary need special philosophical and institutional justification. In the process appropriation for intangibles, investigator found, appropriator and learner either can be same, or can be differentiated. In the former case substantial human assets are created while in the latter relational human assets are built. After the discussion of appropriation process, Investigator proceeds to the problem of visualizing the invisibles. Evaluation and assessment issue were discussed in this perspective. Qualification system is particularly noted as a system to regulate substantial human assets including their issuing and registration. The work done in this paper would contribute in understanding the law of education and the law of qualification.
