Design and Implementation of Parametric Modeler for Retractable Roof Three-Dimensional Truss (개폐식 지붕 입체트러스를 위한 파라메트릭 모델러의 설계와 구현)

  • The purpose of this study is to implement modeling by applying the parametric technique to the atypical trusses of rigid retractable large space structures. The retractable large space structure requires a lot of time and skill in modeling nonlinear shapes or generating, interpreting, and reviewing many models by alternative. To solve these problems, we introduce firstly parametric modeling tool, secondly, we analyze the connection of atypical three-dimensional trusses of a rigid retractable large-space structure, and finally model it as parametric components of the developed trusses. Therefore, it is a future study to make effective modeling of the openable roof by developing the components that can realize the modeling of the truss classified by the opening and closing method, respectively.

Realistic-Contents Generation Techniques with Stereoscopic and Composite Image Data (영상 데이터의 입체화 및 합성 기반 실감 콘텐츠 생성 기법)

  • Recently, there has been much interest in realistic broadcasting that is a new field following HDTV and 3DTV. In general. the realistic broadcasting is composed of diverse components such as aquisition, authoring, compression, transmission and display, posing many challenging tasks. It is necessary that the types of realistic contents need to be defined prior to the development of realistic broadcasting systems. Based upon them, other components need to be designed and developed. In this paper, we propose some realistic contents suitable to the realistic broadcasting as well as techniques of generating them. Our proposed contents consist of stereoscopic multiview sequences, object-based stereoscopic images, depth map-based image compositing and the composition of stereoscopic real and graphics images. Content generation techniques and their associated software modules are presented with realistic images produced from our experiments. Those contents are produced to deliver stereoscopic perception, immersion and realism to the users as shown in our experimental results.

  • Recently, as necessity for urban recycling has increased, the research on integrated multi-purpose space has been required. Development of the system for integrated multi-purpose space is needed to form the efficient and higher value-added space. In this research, the notion of integrated multi-purpose space is defined and two proposed structural system, which are space truss and mega structure system, are compared. Mega structure system has been found as more proper system and proposed for analysis. As verified by the number of mega beam and shape of mega column, the analysis has been carried out. The results show that mega structure system offers proper performance for integrated multi-purpose space.

  • The existing 2D cadastre as the core engine of land administration systems met with the difficulty of managing and representing the real 3D world. As a result, a 3D cadastre system has emerged as a solution oriented towards managing, representing and providing 3D spatial information related to physical status, land rights, restrictions and responsibilities. The aim of this study is to establish the foundation of the 3D cadastre information system. With this in mind, this paper aims not only to set up the data range of the 3D cadastre, but also to design a conceptual model based on an LADM (Land Administration Domain Model) through the investigation of legal restrictions and land uses relating to spaces in 3D.

  • In this paper, new additional nonconforming modes for the improvement of bending behavior in the distorted 8 node hexahedral element and their effective modification method are studied. The rotational degrees of freedom are introduced by using a functional in which the rotations are independent variables. In an element formulation, the same interpolations are used in displacement and rotation fields, but nonconforming modes we applied only in displacement fields. To verify the developed element various numerical tests are carried out and test results show good behavior.

  • 국내 섬유산업은 해외로부터의 저가 섬유제품이 대량으로 유입되는 속에서도 수출의 상당한 부분을 차지하며, 꾸준히 양에서 질로의 전환을 도모해 왔으며, 특히 최근에는 섬유 전반에 걸쳐 고부가 가치화를 지향하고 있다. 이러한 소비자의 요구에 부응하여 섬유소재에도 다양한 신개념과 이를 충족시킬 수 있는 기술이 요구되고 있으며, 그 가운데 하나의 영역을 구축해 나가고 있는 분야가 면 리플가공과 같은 표면 형태 가공이며, 최근 들어 폴리에스테르 입체(3D)가공제의 개발 및 가공 방법도 이런 흐름에 부응하여 업계에서 절실한 개발을 요구하고 있는 분야이다. 기존의 폴리에스테르 및 합성섬유의 입체 가공에 적용된 화학제품보다 성능은 우수하면서, 가공 공정이나 완성된 섬유제품에 전혀 잔존하지 않아 인체친화적(기존의 제품들은 인체에 유해한 재료이면서 가공 후 잔존함)이며, 환경적인 측면에서도 친환경을 유지하면서 새로운 폴리에스테르섬유, 좀 더 폭넓게는 열가소성인 모든 합성섬유의 입체가공이 가능한 약품의 개발 및 이를 이용한 가공방법의 개발은 매우 중요한 의의를 가지게 된다. 본 연구에서는 폴리에스테르의 3D입체 디보싱을 부여하는 합성바인더가 물에 의한 용해도를 확인하기 위하여 용액의 PH에 따른 용해성 시험을 진행하였으며, 합성한 발포제의 양에 따른 3D입체형성 정도를 이미지로 형상화 하였다.

  • 3차원 CAD System의 보급이 확대되고, 또한 설계단계에 3D CAD의 적용이 진행되어 가면서 CAD System에 의한 3차원 입체모형 제작기술에 많은 관심이 주목되고 있다. 특히 최근에는 상품개발 Cycle의 단축화와 Concurrent Engineering 실현의 중요한 도구로써 다양한 기능을 제공하고 있다. 그 방법중의 하나가 특정한 파장에서 반응하는 광경화성 수지에 자외선의 Laser 광을 조사하여 원하는 입체형상을 제작하는 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 광조형물의 제작원리와 시스템 개발에 대하여 논하고자 한다.

Development of Multi-View Simulator for Mobile Display based on Augmented Reality for Providing an Optimum Viewing Zone (최적 입체시를 제공하기 위한 상호작용 기반 다시점 모바일 디스플레이 모의장치 개발)

  • Crosstalk has been regarded as one of inherent problems in a factor disturbing optimal viewing experiences. For this reason, display developers address the crosstalk issues. However, due to various display characteristics and viewing environments it is hard to estimate the crosstalk generated in real space. This paper proposes an interactive multi-view display simulator based on augmented reality for developing mobile autostereoscopic displays. This display simulator can be used for the developers to estimate the crosstalk and find optimal viewing zone intuitively. Typical parameters for mobile phone use are applied for the estimation. The proposed simulator provides visualized crosstalk in real space for them to determine better viewing zone interactively. The proposed system is expected to help establish ergonomic guidelines for mobile multi-view autostereoscopic display developers, designers, and viewers.

  • In this paper, we proposed an autostereoscopic display simulator that calculates an extended intensity distribution of light emitted from respective light sources and reaching respective views in an observing area to an observing plane. It simulates intensity distribution in horizontal and vertical observing ranges from the predetermined observing plane and obtains an optimal viewing area image having quantities of light according to respective views based on the intensity distribution data. As a result of the simulation the proposed system enables guiding viewing comfort zone interactively.

  • 정보통신과 콘텐츠 기술의 발달로 소비자는 고품질의 2차원 가시화 형태의 콘텐츠에 만족하지 않고, 보다 사실적인 체험이 가능한 3D 콘텐츠를 요구하고 있다. 2010년대에는 이미 3D 입체 디스플레이 기술이 소비자 가전 시장에서 주요 관심 대상이 되었고, 가상현실 연구의 전통적인 가시화 인터페이스로 활용된 착용형 디스플레이와 몰입형 및 대형 입체 디스플레이 장치도 3D 영화관 및 전시관 등을 통해서 일반 소비자기 쉽게 체험할 수 있게 되었다. 이러한 3D 입체 디스플레이 기술은 사용자 개인을 중심으로 보다 사실적인 입체감과 공간감을 제시하려는 형태로 발전되고 있으므로, 본고에서는 개인 사용자 중심의 착용형 디스플레이 기술과 고품질의 3D 영상 체험을 제공하는 관련 디스플레이 기술의 동향을 정리하고, 국내 최신 연구 개발 사례를 소개한다.
