Analysis of Characteristics about the Location environment of Industrial Complex and Migration Company (산업단지 입지환경과 입주기업의 특성 분석)

  • The aim of this study is to determine factors that affect the competitiveness and the move-in environment of migration companies according to the recent change of location conditions of industrial complexes. The results of analysis show that productive factor and economic factor are related to the main factors that determine the location environment. The resident companies have a strong link to the economic characteristics factors, which seems to be related to the expectation and satisfaction for public support facilities, hospitals, educational institutions, and administrative agencies to be placed in the complex, encouraging companies to be located in the complex. In other words, if the existing economic factors and public support facilities were complemented, it can be inferred that the industrial complex promotion policies will be more effectively planned. Also, transportation and infrastructure facilities are analyzed as successful factors for resident companies. In addition, the economic and productive environments turn out to affect public support facilities and environmental factors of infrastructure as major factors. The results of this study are expected to be a useful guideline in determining the resident policy or external factors for the future industrial complex.

Analyzing Site Characteristics and Suitability for Wind Farm Facilities in Forest Lands (산지 내 풍력발전단지 입지 특성 및 적합성 분석)

  • The purposes of this study are to provide a guideline for the suitability of wind farm facilities in forest lands and to suggest improvement plans of policies and systems to minimize the damage of forest lands. First, we implemented a literature review and field surveys to examine and select factors for the suitability of wind farm facilities in forest lands. Spatial database for selected location factors of wind farm facilities in forest lands was constructed to develop the suitability model for locating wind farm facilities focusing on Gangwon-do. Data used in this study include wind power resource, legal mountainous preserved area, forest roads, developed areas, forest class, and other spatial data. In order to find specific-sized potential areas for a certain number of wind farm turbines, we used block statistics and focal statistics methods. As a result, the areas for potential wind farm locations were 1,261ha from a block statistics method and 1,411ha from a focal statistics method. Based on the outputs of this research, it is required to make an urgent solution for the prevention of forest disaster and to prepare reduction measures for the destruction of ridge landscape.

관찰 자료를 이용한 소매점포 성과의 결정요인

  • 점포선택에 영향을 미치는 선행변수들을 규명한 기존 연구들은 주로 점포 방문행동에 초점을 두고 진행되어 왔으나, 이러한 점포 방문행동이 과연 실제 구매행동으로까지 이어질 것인가에 대한 연구는 매우 제한적으로 이루어져 왔다. 본 연구에서는 관찰 자료를 이용하여 점포선택의 단계를 점포방문행동과 실제 구매 행동으로 분류한 후, 이들 각 단계에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 탐색적으로 실증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 소매점포를 대상으로 수집된 관찰 자료를 이용하여 분석한 결과, 경쟁점포의 수를 제외한 유동인구, 소매점포의 시계성과 같은 소매점포의 입지요인과 점포의 크기, 가판대 설치, 판촉 행사와 같은 소매점포의 마케팅 요인이 점포방문행동에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 점포방문행동이 실제 구매동향에 미치는 영향력은 주효과뿐만 아니라 상품구색과 같은 점포내부요인과의 상호작용효과가 존재하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 끝으로 이러한 결과의 이론적 및 실무적 시사점이 논의되고, 연구의 한계점과 미래의 연구방향이 제시되었다.

  • 다기준 의사결정 문제에서 요인간의 가중치 계산과 계산된 요인의 평가값 종합화는 매우 중요하다. 본 연구는 다기준 의사결정 문제에 있어서 의사결정자의 의사전략 결합기법을 도출하고 다기준의사결정 문제로 적용하였다. 복잡한 환경에서 의사결정을 할 때 발생되는 모호함을 해결하기 위해 주관적 의견을 결합한 퍼지지합 이론을, 다기준 문제의 요인을 퍼지값으로 계층화하기 위해 계층분석법을 적용하였다. 또한, 의사결정자의 의사전략을 결합하기 위해 순위 가중치평균법을 이용하였다. 순위가 있는 가중치 평균방법은 퍼지집합의 orness 특성을 이용하여 의사결정자의 주관적 의지를 반영할 수 있는 기법으로, 순위가중치평균(OWA) 연산자에 따른 낙관적 혹은 비관적인 정도에 따라 주관적인 의도를 반영할 수 있는 방법이다. 다기준의사결정 문제의 적용사례로서 해상교통안전을 위한 대기정박지의 위치분석 문제를 본 연구에서 제시한 방법에 따라 적용하였다.

  • This paper aims at analyzing the characteristics of the immigration path, residential location, and housing ownership structure of Korean immigrants in London metropolitan area. The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, factors influencing the initial residential location of Korean immigrants are situation of immigrants, immigration region, and help of prior Korean immigrants. Secondly, factors influencing the current residential location of Korean immigrants are income, ability of English, education at United Kingdom, and initial residential location. Thirdly, viewing the characteristics of the of housing ownership structure, migrants tend to reside their own housings while migration period go beyond 10 years and incomes exceed ${\pounds}$50,000. Forth, immigration path types of London Korean Immigrants are divided by ethnic enclave oriented type and mainstream society oriented type.

  • This study shed light on searching spatial location pattern of movie theaters by operating screens in theater as proxy variable to find spillover effects and spatial determinants. After taking procedure to find spatial spillover effect by GIS 3D analyst, movie theaters in Seoul metropolitan area are formed in four categorized regions, such as Kangbuk, Kangnam, Kangseo, and Kangdong. Regions which have larger number of screens than others show that they affect to relevant regions directly. In addition, this study analyzes that people have tendencies to visit movie theater while they use other similar facilities such as music, publishing, and public performance facilities. Therefore, trend of agglomeration of similar enterprise including motion picture industry has a spillover effect and economy of scale when they are gathered in specific regions which are specialized as certain usage.

  • This paper aims to examine the location factors affecting small service business performance, especially hair-style service business sales which are assumed to be dependent on outskirts' residents. In contrast to the prior research, this study measures sales amount as business success factors rather than business man's satisfaction level or customers' royalty. The empirical results show that hair-style service business can be determined by visibility and access level of its shop. In addition, its sales can be influenced by hairstyling chair, but its sales per a designer can impacted by hairstyling chair. This study also presents additional examinations about several independent factors which can have influence on hair-style business performance and several location traits that can have an significant influence on its sales volume.

Characteristics of Immigration Path and Residential Location of Korean Immigrants in Los Angeles (미국 LA지역 한인 이주민의 정착경로 및 주거입지 특성)

  • This paper aims at elucidating the characteristics of immigration path and residential location, and analyzing the factors influencing housing ownership structure and preference of residential location factors of Korean immigrants in Los Angeles. The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, immigration paths of Korean Immigrants are divided by spatial assimilation type and network of mainstream society oriented type. Secondly, according to the results of binomial logistic regression analysis, Korean town as a current residential location is selected by low-income class, aged migrants group, housing non-owner group and longer migration period group. Thirdly, migrants tend to retain detached housings in residential area of mainstream society while migration period go beyond 10 years and incomes exceed $60,000. Finally, according to ANOVA tests on the preferences of residential location factors. high-income and home owers groups more prefer location factors such as economics, natural environment, housing interior facilities, network of mainstream society.

  • 도시화는 현대사회의 가장 큰 특징이며 도시가 성장하면서 과거의 기능이 변화하고 도시내부의 공간구조가 점차 기능적으로 분화하는 경향이 있다. 그 중 가장 주목할 만한 것 중의 하나는 주거지역의 입지변화와 공간적 확산과정에서 나타나는 주거지 분화현상이다. 도시생태학자 Hoyt은 주거지 이동패턴에 대하여 도시 내의 주거지분포 패턴을 결정짓는 핵심적인 요인으로 최고지대를 지불할 수 있는 부유층의 주거입지 선택에 따라 전체 도시의 계층별 주거분포가 영향을 받게 된다고 주장하였다. 서울은 소규모로 계획된 역사도시에서 인구 1000만의 대도시로 성장하여 오면서 많은 구조적 변화를 경험하여 현재의 공간구조를 이루게 되었다. 현재 전체 서울의 주택지는 동일한 것이 아니고 각종 주위환경에 따른 성격과 특성을 달리하는 요소로 구성되어 있다. 이 특성을 달리하는 주택지들이 모여서 각기 상이한 역할을 수행하고 서로 기능적 관계를 맺으면서 주택지를 형성하고 있다. 선형이론(Hoyt's Sector theory)에 따르면 고급주택지역의 도시 공간구조에 많은 영향을 미치고 있다고 주장하였다. 그럼에도 불구하고 서울의 고급주택지역의 분포와 그 입지 특성에 관한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 서울시 고급주택지역의 분포를 형성하는 원인을 규명하는데 있다. 고급주택지의 지역적 분포를 파악하여 그 입지 성향과 특성을 알게 되면 도시의 토지이용계획, 특히 주거지계획에 도움이 될 수 있다.
