위치결정 스테이지에 대한 동적 모델링과 입력성형 제어 (Dynamic Modeling and Input Shaping Control of a Positioning Stage)

  • This paper presents the dynamic analysis and input shaping control of a positioning stage. Vibration characteristics of the positioning stage are affected not only by the structural dynamics but also by the servo actuators that consist of the mechanism; driving motor and controller. This paper proposes an integrated dynamic model to accommodate both the structural dynamics and the servo actuators. Theoretical modal analysis with a commercial finite element code is carried out to investigate the dynamic characteristics of the experimental positioning stage. Experiments are performed to validate the theoretical modal analysis and estimate the equivalent stiffness due to the servo actuators. This paper deals with an input shaping scheme to suppress vibration of the positioning stage. Input shapers are systematically implemented for the positioning stage in consideration of its dynamics. The effects of servo control gain are also investigated. The experiments show that input shaping effectively removes residual vibrations and then improves the performance of positioning stage.

CDMA 역방향 링크의 상관된 SIMO 채널을 위한 복합형 빔 성형 방식 (Hybrid Beamformer of CDMA Reverse Link in the Correlated SIMO Channel)

  • 부호분할다중접속(CDMA: Code Division Multiple Access) 시스템의 역방향링크에서 수신 빔 성형 기법을 사용할 경우, 빔 성형 이득을 얻는 반면 전력 제어에 의해 불충분한 파일롯 전력으로 인해 채널 추정이 부정확해진다. 이 논문에서는 상관된 단일-입력 다중-출력(SIMO: Single-Input Multiple-Output) 채널에서 불충분한 파일롯 전력으로 인한 문제를 해결하기 위한 수신 빔 성형 방식을 제안하고자 한다. 제안된 복합형 빔 성형 방식(hybrid beamformer)은 수신 안테나들을 그룹 지어서, 각 그룹 당 수신 빔 방향(DOA: Direction-of-Arrival) 기반의 빔 성형 후에, 그룹별 출력을 최대 비 결합(MRC: Maxim Ratio Combining)하는 방식으로, 공간적으로 상관된 SIMO 채널의 디버시티 이득을 얻으면서 더 정확한 채널추정과 간섭제거 효과를 제공한다. 배열 안테나의 수가 여섯 개 이상인 경우, 복합형 빔 성형 방식은 빔 수신 각 범위(AOS: Angle-of-Spread)가 30°이하에서 일반적인 MRC 빔 성형 방식보다 더 좋은 성능을 보인다.

공작기계의 서보제어와 입력성형기법 (Input Shaping for Servo Control of Machine Tools)

  • Servo control loops are a core part in the control architecture of machine tools. Servo control loops manage acceleration, velocity and position of all the axes in a machine tool based on commands. The performance of servo control loops sets the basis for quality of production paris and cycle time reduction. First, this paper presents a general control architecture of machine tools and several control schemes in literature, which can be applicable to machine tools control; including Zero Phase Error Tracking Control (ZPETC) and Cross Coupling Control (CCC). After that, modem control strategies to mitigate the problem of high speed machining are reviewed. In high speed machining, high accelerations excite the machine structure up to high frequencies, thereby exciting the structure's modes of vibration. These structural vibrations need to be damped if accurate positioning or trajectory following is required. Input shaping is an attractive option in dealing with structural vibrations. The advantages and drawbacks of using input shaping technique for machine tools are discussed in detail.

H-형상 단면의 축대칭 부품에 대한 열간단조 공정설계 및 금형설계

  • 본 논문은 H-형상 단면의 측대칭 부품에대하여 컴퓨터에 의한 열간단조 공정설계 및 금형설계 시스템을 개발하고 슬래브 해석법을 이용한 단조 시뮬레이션 프로그램을 통하여 단조하중을 예측하고자 한다. 이 시 스템을 수행하기 위한 컴퓨터 프로그램의 입력사항은 축대칭 H-형상 단조품 단면의 기하학적 형상, 소재비 도는 단조비, 마찰조건, 램속도, 다조온도, 소재 및 다이 재료명 등이다. 시스템의 실행 후 얻은 결과들은 실제 산업 현장의 요구에 맞추어 빌렛 형상, 예비 성형체, 그리고 최종다이 및 예비성형 다이가 도면화 되 어 출력된다. 수행된 출력결과가 사용자의 요구와 일치하지 않을 경우 입력사항을 변경하여 재 설계할 수 있도록 되어 있다. 그리고 본 시스템은 크게 세개의 모듈 즉, 공정설계 모듈, 시뮬레이션 모듈 등으로 구성되어 있고 각각의 모듈은 독립적으로 또는 통합하여 수행된다.

주파수와 감쇠비 변화에 강인한 Convolution 입력성형기 설계 (Design of Robust Convolution Input Shaper for the Variation of Frequency and Damping Ratio)

  • The flexibility of long reach manipulators presents a difficult control problem when accurate end-point position is required. Input shaping by convolving system commands with impulse sequences has been shown to be an effective method of reducing residual vibrations in flexible systems. However, existing shapers have been considered robustness fur only frequency uncertainty. However, this paper presents new multi-hump convolution(CV) input shaper that could accommodate with the simultaneous variation of natural frequency and damping ratio. Comparisons with previously proposed input shapers are presented to illustrate the qualities of the new input shaper. These new shapers will be shown to have better robustness fur the variation of frequency and damping ratio.

  • Input shaping technique has been used as a simple method of controlling the residual vibration of a flexible manipulator. With the conventional methods previously proposed by several authors, the frequency range that shows a good performance is restricted. When the designed frequency being different from the natural frequency of a system, the performance of control degrades remarkably. This paper introduced a new technique that designs input shaping with robustness in the z-domain.

부분 모드만을 고려하여 성형된 입력을 이용한 잔류 진동의 감소 효과 (Reducing Effect of Residual Vibration Through Command Input Shaped Considering Partial Modes)

  • Shaping an input command through considering the resonant modes of multi degrees of freedom system, it is possible to realize the wanted motion, without exciting the uncontrollable modes of the flexible system. But, an increase of modes to be considered brings inevitably about the time delay due to an excessive rising time. On the purpose of reducing the rising time, only the interesting and dominant modes can be considered to determine the timing pulses of input shaper. In this paper, an effect of shaper by the partial modes is analysed for a specific system and the input shapers by the partial modes are analysed for three d.o.f damped system, using Matlab simulation.

위치결정 스테이지의 고속 정밀 위치결정을 위한 입력성형명령 생성 기법 (Command Generation Method for High-Speed and Precise Positioning of Positioning Stage)

  • This paper deals with precise positioning of a high-speed positioning stage without inducing residual vibration by using an input shaping technique. Input shaping is well known to be a very effective tool for suppressing the residual vibration of flexible structures. However, the ordinary input shaping for positioning stages is designated mostly for velocity regulation, not for the residual vibration at the target position. The main difficulties in implementing input shaping along with precise positioning are the time delay caused by the servo system characteristics and the s-curve feature often employed in some motor controllers. This paper analyzes the dynamic responses of a single-mode-dominate stage system subjected to input shaping. A theoretical model is developed io investigate the nature of system. In order to overcome the difficulty, this paper proposes an improved input shaper based on modified command profile generation. The proposed method is proved effective through experiments and simulations.
