Morphological and sedimentological changes of subaqueous dunes in the tide-dominated environment, Gyeonggi Bay (조석우세환경인 경기만에 발달된 수중사구의 형태·퇴적학적 변화)

  • In september 2004 and 2006, topographical and sedimentological survey were carried out using multibeam echosounder, which were to investigate shape characteristics, temporal changes and control factors of the subaqueous dunes in the southern Gyeonggi Bay. The present tidal current and sedimentary characteristics of study area make conditions that the sizes (length and height) of large subaqueous dunes are developed and maintained sufficiently. The change of sedimentary characteristics over time, the decrease in grain size causes reduction in the height of very large subaqueous dunes. Therefore it shows that the grain size of surface sediments is a primary control factor in defining subaqueous dune sizes in the study area.

  • This paper deals with the controller design of the flight control system using the model reference adaptive control approach. The structure of the adaptive control system is based on the structure suggested by NARENDRA and VALAVANI. In particular, the problem is considered in case of the relative degree n=2 of plant. The flight control system is single-input single-output system, and the control input is given from the input-output data of the referencemodel and plant. For the analysis of the designed control system, thesimulation is perfarmed in cases of analog plant and analog plant with flight motion table, and reviewed.

  • In this paper, we obtain a mathematical model of a gas turbine control system from experimental data. The gas turbine in Gunsan power plant is selected as controlled system. The recursive least square algorithm is used to model the plant. For parameter estimation, plant is assumed as second order system and forgetting factor is 0.98 and the period of input and output signal period is 1sec. As a result, input and output characteristics of real system and modeling are identified.

  • 본 논문에서는 태양광 발전 시스템의 직류 모듈 집적형 전력변환장치를 인덕터 전류 및 입 출력 전압을 이용하여 MPPT 및 출력 전류 제한을 수행하는 제어 방법을 제안한다. 이를 통해 기존의 입 출력 전류 및 입력 전압을 이용하는 방식에 비해 전류 센서를 한 개 줄이면서 동일한 특성으로 제어가 가능하다. 또한 실험을 통해 제안하는 방식의 타당성을 검증한다.

  • 기존에 박막공정을 이용한 CIGS 태양전지는 단가가 비싸고 공정이 복잡한 단점이 있다. 따라서 후막형 CIGS 태양전지 위한 CIGS 나노 입자의 필요성이 대두 되었다. CIGS 나노 입자를 합성하기 위한 방법은 용매열법, 콜로이달법 등이 있다. 특히 이들 방법 중에서 열용매 방식은 입도 제어가 용이하고 저압, 저온에서 간단한 공정으로 입자를 합성할 수 있다는 잠정으로 인해 많이 사용되어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 열용매법을 이용하여, 용매양, 반응온도, 반응시간 등을 통하여 후막형 CIGS에 적합한 나노 입자를 합성하였다. XRD를 통해 상을 분석하고, SEM, 입도, B.E.T.를 통해 파우더의 평가하였다.

  • 현재의 언어자동인식은 목소리의 음성 정보와 얼굴영상의 화상정보를 병행처리하여 초기의 음성 정보만을 처리한 경우보다 높은 인식률을 가져왔다. 이러한 연구는 언어의 인식에서 뿐만 아니라, 신체가 부자연스러운 장애니에게는 간단한 의미 전달의 수단이나 각종 재활보조기기의 제어 등에도 매우 유용하게 활용될 수 있다. 음성정보처리를 배제한 영상정보처리 면에서, 본 논문의 대상이 되는 장애인은 신체의 부자연스러움으로 인해 처리되는 얼굴의 영상이 정상인과 같은 바른 자세가 되지 못하고, 기울어진다든지 틀어져서 기존의 방법들로는 정상인보다 현저히 낮은 입모양의 인식률을 보인다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 방법들과는 달리 청색 표식을 이용한 색상불할법과 라벨링을 통해 입 모양을 인식하는 방법을 제안하였으며, 이는 장애인과 같은 기울어진 얼굴영상에 대해서도 정상인과 같은 입 모양 인식률을 나타내었다.

Surface Modification of Matrix and filler for Ultra High Density Elastomeric Material (초 고비중 탄성체 개발을 위한 매트릭스 탄성체 표면개질 및 충전제 제어기술 기초연구)

  • In this study, surface treatment of the elastomeric matrix was investigated to develop a substituting material for steel dynamic damper of automobile. The key technology is to get ultra high density elastomeric compound in order to substitute steel dynamic damper. The optimum matrix material(chloroprene rubber) and filler(metal powder) were selected for this. The several properties of elastomeric compound were examined. According to the results, the $t_{s2}$ of filled elastomeric compound was decreased with increasing the filler loading whereas the $t_{90}$ was increased. Also, tensile strength and rebound resilience were decreased with filler loading. To solve the problem of high filler loading, the photo grafting technique was employed on elastomeric matrix. The degree of grafting was determined by FTIR-ATR. Also, the filler surface was modified by chemical etching and the surface morphology was examine by SEM. After chemical treatment of filler, the particle size analyzer was used to examined the particle size, size distribution, and morphology of the modified filler.

  • In this paper, we proposed the micro web-server implementation on Strong ARM processor with embedded Linux. The parallel port connecting parallel I/O is controlled via HTTP protocol and web browser program HTTP protocol with Linux, the micro web server program and port control program are installed on-board memory using CGI to be accessed by web browser. The processor parallel input port is monitored and parallel output port is controlled from remote hosts via HTTP protocol. The result of the proposed embedded micro-web server can be used in remote automation systems, distributed control via internet using web browser.

  • This study carried out the density and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and particle size analysis which are the physical characteristics of coal dust by collecting samples of coal dust in the five domestic mines to control the coal dust through ventilation in the workplace for coal mining in the country. This will contribute to a more comfortable working environment by understanding the physical characteristics of the coal dust which is derived from any hard coal produced domestically. In particular, the result of PSA analysis showed that the size of coal dust sample for this study ranged from $0.007{\sim}88.614{\mu}m$ were the particles less than $3.5{\mu}m$, the size range responsible for pneumoconiosis. To observe the flow of coal dust collected on the wind speed, the fallout of coal dust produced by the wind tunnel for the wind was measured and the particle size analysis of coal dust fallout was carried out. In addition, airborne dust is measured according to the mine velocity by using a multi-stage Anderson sampler in the mine where fine dust is generated in a large amount and the wind speed is found out to control the coal dust below $3.5{\mu}m$. In addition, natural ventilation pressure of A mine was calculated to prevent over design of the main fan.

  • Flue gas desulfurization(FGD) is the technique to remove $SO_2$ gas from stack gases of coal-fired plants. Many researcher have studied to replace the desulfurizing agent because FGD systems use a lot of limestone and energy. In this study, we use the limestone sludge which is a by-product of steel industry in order to replace desulfurizing agent of FGD system by control the particle size of limestone sludge. And desulfurization performance test is implemented by investigating $SO_2$ gas removal properties upon the characteristic of the limestone sludge with various particle size.
