본 연구는 생활습관 개선을 통하여 질병의 사전 예방과 조기진단을 목적으로 발의한 건강관리서비스 법안에 관한 방사선사와 치위생사의 의식을 분석하여 향후 건강관리서비스의 올바른 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 특히 정규 대학(교)에서 보건(의료)에 관한 교육을 이수하고 임상에서 지속적으로 이수하고 있는 일정 경력 이상의 보건직(방사선사, 치위생사 등) 인력의 포함은 필연적이라고 사료된다.

최근 국내 소 사육규모의 대규모 및 전업화 추세에 발맞추어 소 사육농가 현장에서 간헐적으로 발생하고 있는 난산의 부적절한 처치, 분만 전 후 생식기질병관리 부정확 등으로 인한 난산 사고나 생식기 질병의 발생을 초래하고 있는 실정에 있다. 따라서 본고는 특히 작금의 대동물임상수의사가 되기 위한 젊은 수의사들이 예전보다는 다소 늘어가고 있는 추세에 발맞추어 소에 있어서 난산처치 및 분만 전 후의 생식기질병 등의 예방관리요령을 정리하여 소 사육농가들에게 생산성 및 번식률을 제고하였으면 하는 바램을 피력하여 본다.

젖소의 유방염 발생은 유량과 유질의 저하, 유방염으로 인한 폐기우유의 증가와 도태 및 폐사 등을 가져와 낙농가에겐 경제적인 손실을 줄 뿐만 아니라 의욕상실 등을 초래하기 때문에 생산성향상을 도모하기 위해서는 젖소의 비유생리를 이해하고 올바르고 철저한 착유위생관리를 하지 않으면 아니된다. 올바른 착유의 기본은 우선 젖소의 비유생리를 이해하는 데서 시작하고, 많은 우유를 생산하기 위해서는 위생적인 착유관리가 수반되지 않으면 아니된다. 이에 필자는 대동물 임상수의사들에게 유방염발생을 감소하기 위한 방안을 제시하여 유방염 발생 감소와 위생적인 유질 개선이야말로 선진낙농으로 가는 지름길이라는 것을 강조해두고 싶다.

Data stored in hospital information systems has a great potential to improve adequacy assessment and quality management. Moreover, an establishment of a data warehouse has been known to improve quality management and to offer help to clinicians. This study constructed a data mart that can be used to analyze antibiotic usage as a part of systematic and effective data analysis of infection control information. Metadata was designed by using the XML DTD method after selecting components and evaluation measures for infection control. OLAP-a multidimensional analysis tool-for antibiotic usage analysis was developed by building a data mart through modeling. Experimental data were obtained from data on antibiotic usage at a university hospital in Cheonan area for one month in July of 1997. The major components of infection control metadata were antibiotic resistance information, antibiotic usage information, infection information, laboratory test information, patient information, and infection related costs. Among them, a data mart was constructed by designing a database to apply antibiotic usage information to a star schema. In addition, OLAP was demonstrated by calculating the statistics of antibiotic usage for one month. This study reports the development of a data mart on antibiotic usage for infection control through the implementation of XML and OLAP techniques. Building a conceptual, structured data mart would allow for a rapid delivery and diverse analysis of infection control information.

미국, 유럽, 일본 등 애견 선진국들과 동일하게 국내에도 노령견이 지속적으로 증가하는 추세이며, 이에 따라 심혈관계 질환에 대해 관리 받는 환자들도 급속도로 늘어나고 있다. 임상 수의사로 근무하다 보면 오랫동안 돌봐오던 심혈관계 환자를 마취, 진정 또는 수술해야 하는 상황을 흔히 접하게 된다. "환자는 심혈관계 문제를 가지고 있으며, 마취는 반드시 필요하다. 임상 수의사인 나는 무엇을 해야 하는가 혹은 하지 말아야 한느가?"

장출혈증후군은 성숙한 젖소의 치명적인 질환으로서 급성으로 진행하는 복부팽창, 쇼크, 장폐쇄, 흑변, 대변 속에 소화된 혈액응괴 또는 응괴쪼가리 등을 나타내는 것이 특정이다. 가능성이 있는 소인으로서 비유로 인한 신체적 스트레스, 곰팡이 핀 사료 및/또는 Clostridium perfringens 의 증식을 촉진하는 관리, 식이 및 환경 요인 등이 있다. 장출혈증후군의 발병기전에 대해 더 많이 밝혀질 때까지 예방대책은 위에 설명한 추정적인 요인들에 초점을 맞춰야 하며, 개개의 목장에 필요에 맞게 계획되어야 한다. 또한 이러한 의사결정 과정에 예산에 대한 세심한 분석도 해야 한다.

국립보건원 유전체연구소는 안산-안성 지역에 거주하는 45세 이상 69세 이하의 성인을 대상으로 고혈압, 당뇨, 골다공증, 천식, 비만 등 한국인의 총 국민의료비용에서 큰 부분을 차지하는 중요 만성질환에 초점을 맞추어 코호트 연구를 수행하고 있다. 이에 검진대상자의 설문 및 임상검사를 통하여 수집되는 개인식별 데이터, 생활습관 데이터 등의 설문정보와 다양한 임상검사정보에 대한 체계적 저장ㆍ관리와 향후 수행될 대규모 정보 분석을 위해 유전체역학 정보 DB를 설계.구축하였다.

임상공학 분야에서의 두 가지 트랜드의 변화가 주목된다. 급성질환에서 만성질환으로 의료/건강관리의 중요성이 증가하는 것이고, 이를 다루는 의료정보의 처리기기가 컴퓨터화 되고 있으며, 통합되어 이용되어 가는 것이다. 또한, 이 두 가지의 변화가 융합되는 방향으로 임상공학 분야의 연구의 중요성이 증가하고 있다. 이와 같은 의료정보처리의 요구사항을 만족하기 위하여 기 연구한 의료영상기반 협업 플랫폼 PACS-Grid[1]을 바탕으로 만성질환 지향형 의료정보 통합 가시화의 통합방법을 다룬다. 더불어 이를 지원하기 위한 서비스 지향형 PACS-Grid 플랫폼을 제안한다.

It is important to develop standard metadata to give more plentiful information about the forest cover type map and to promote distribution by National Geographic Information Clearinghouse. In this study metadata for the forest cover type map was designed based on TTAS.IS-19115 and it consisted of 10 packages and 50 elements. Also metadata editor was developed to implement metadata with standard schema and metadata viewer to service more user friendly interface. This work was about the first standard metadata for forest GIS data. So it would be a useful reference to develop metadata for other digital map concerning forest.
