  • The Web 2.0 is mean to Web as Platform, as the platform provided various service using a data on webs by opening information. That is, it leads to the sharing and participation of information among internet users. In this paper, we research web technology for embedded computers which be supplied data and services to implement Ubiquitous computing. Therefore, we designed Open API service platform used the embedded system for the sharing and opening of web 2.0 trends. This designed platform is provided to internet users with various services and information in real-time.

  • In this paper we propose a multi-channel speech pickup system for calling quality enhancement of hands-free communication using ALTERA Nios-II processor. Multi-channel speech pickup system uses Delay-and-Sum beamformer with zero-padding interpolator. This paper implements speech pickup system using the Nios-II processor with real-time I/O data processing speed. The proposes speech pickup embedded system shows a good agreement with those of computer simulation(MATLAB) and conventional DSP processor(TMS320C6711) result. The proposed method is effective more than previous methods in cost and design processing time. As a result, LE(Logic Element) of hardware used 3,649/5,980(61%) on a chip.

  • A micro embedded did the task to be simply the sequent at the past. The necessity of an embedded operating system did not exist in the reason. We satisfy the complication of the system and operating system have been desired for the officer of the process. The necessity of the process of real-time processing increased also with fast response time to users, The porting follows and have been composed of an real-time embedded operating system. We can control the control unit with the sensor to be established in the building, An embedded web sever to use the resource of the at least is appering a networking facility of interaction. In this paper, The web sever to be implemented in a purity software. We draw data for the thing to implement overall demo to the remote through Internet and We put the point even though we organized the frame to control this. we have successfully ported linux on an embedded system, which is based on intel StrongARM SA-1110 processor, then written several network modules of ethernet-based network device.

  • Due to the rapid advance of IT technologies such as mobile communication, sensor network, wearable computer, and so on, the needs of embedded software has increased. In those domain areas, the development of low-power embedded software is one of critical issues to enhance servicability of the system because almost embedded system depends on battery-based power supply system. Therefore this paper identifies the factors that can reduce the power consumption in embedded software operation, and proposes the method that how to handle the factors in software development process. Even though the existing and general studies about power reduction has been performed with code-based analysis, this analysis approach can lead reworks when the requirement for power consumption was not met. Our proposed techniques will support the power reduction in embedded software development process whenever the code was not developed. Our proposed process for lop-power embedded software development can gives the high quality in power-related serviceability.

  • Embedded Controller which controls whole system is most important part of embedded system. Nowadays, new technique called SoC is more using than ASIC. But SoC have some problems. Because of long development time and high cost, it is hard to applying SoC to small and medium enterprise. So many companies use IP technique combined with embedded processor. High resolution inkjet marking system is printing system with embedded controller. It is used in various part of industry. But it has many problems such as printing quality, marking errors, system faults and so on. In this paper, we designed and implemented IP that can solve the printing quality problems. We analyzed total-logic-elements and timing by simulation. As a result of simulation, we could verified that output signals satisfied reference timing. Appling IP to high resolution inkjet marking system, we could get good quality printing message.

Real-time Handwriting Recognizer based on Partial Learning Applicable to Embedded Devices (임베디드 디바이스에 적용 가능한 부분학습 기반의 실시간 손글씨 인식기)

  • Deep learning is widely utilized to classify or recognize objects of real-world. An abundance of data is trained on high-performance computers and a trained model is generated, and then the model is loaded in an inferencer. The inferencer is used in various environments, so that it may cause unrecognized objects or low-accuracy objects. To solve this problem, real-world objects are collected and they are trained periodically. However, not only is it difficult to immediately improve the recognition rate, but is not easy to learn an inferencer on embedded devices. We propose a real-time handwriting recognizer based on partial learning on embedded devices. The recognizer provides a training environment which partially learn on embedded devices at every user request, and its trained model is updated in real time. As this can improve intelligence of the recognizer automatically, recognition rate of unrecognized handwriting increases. We experimentally prove that learning and reasoning are possible for 22 numbers and letters on RK3399 devices.

  • 국내에서 개발된 저궤도 관측위성에는 인텔계열의 프로세서가 사용되어 졌다. 인텔계열의 프로세서를 이용한 임베디드 시스템은 다양하고 상세한 기술문서들이 많이 제공될 수 있고 국내에도 관련된 기술 습득이 이루어져 있다는 장점이 있다. 그러나 프로세서에 대한 새로운 기술의 개발 및 적용이 단기간에 이루어지기 때문에 이를 이용한 시스템 개발에 계속적으로 개발비용 부담이 가중되고 선진국의 첨단기술 유출 방지를 위한 여러 규제들로 인해 인텔 계열의 프로세서를 사용한 위성용 임베디드 시스템 개발에 걸림돌이 되고 있다. 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 차세대 위성에 사용 가능한 탑재컴퓨터에 대한 조사 및 기술분석을 수행하였으며, 유럽에서 자체적으로 개발하여 위성용 탑재컴퓨터로 사용하고 있는 MCM-ERC52가 차세대 위성개발에 적합한 것으로 판단되었다. MCM-ERC32는 SPARC v.7을 기반으로 한 ERC32SC 프로세서를 이용한 탑재컴퓨터 보드로 향후 위성에 요구되는 다양한 기능들을 수행하기에 충분한 고성능 탑재컴퓨터이다. 국내에서는 MCM-ERC32를 이용한 개발 경험이 전무한 상황이며, 관련된 기술자료도 충분하지 않은 실정이다. 이에 따라 MCM-ERC32에 적합한 저궤도 위성용 탑재소프트웨어 개발을 위한 연구가 진행되고 있으며. 본 논문에서는 MCM-ERC32를 이용한 탑재소프트웨어 개발에 필요한 특징적인 ERC32 프로세서의 개념과 기능에 대해 소개하고자 한다.

  • VLIW 아키텍처는 동시에 여러 개의 명령어를 수행하면서도 상대적으로 크기가 작으며 적은 전력을 소모한다는 장점 때문에 임베디드 어플리케이션을 처리하기 위해 많이 쓰이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SIMD 명령어를 추가한 VLIW 아키텍처를 설계함으로써 동영상 처리와 같은 미디어 어플리케이션을 효과적으로 처리할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • Home Automation System은 가정에서 사용되는 여러 가전기기들을 통합하여 제어함으로써 가정을 안락하고, 편리하게 해주는 동시에 에너지 효율을 극대화하여 인간의 생활수준을 향상시키는 기술을 말한다. 본 논문에서는 PXA255기반의 임베디드 시스템 보드에 Linux 커널을 포팅하고 웹서버를 탑재하여 홈 오토메이션 서버를 개발하였다. 또한 확장 입출력 포트에 에어컨, 환풍기, 가스 센서 등을 연결하여, Zigbee 센서 모듈을 직렬 포트에 연결하였다. 보드에 연결된 장치들은 인터넷 상에서 제어하도록 디바이스 드라이버 및 제어 프로그램을 설계 구현하였다.
