복령(Poria cocos) 균사체 배양쌀의 식이가 산란율과 계란내 비타민에 미치는 영향

  • 기능성 식품으로서 활용 가치가 높은 복령의 균사체를 이용하여 산란계에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보았다. 사육기간 중 대조구에 비하여 복령 균사체를 혼합한 사료의 섭취가 산란계의 체중을 다소 증가시켰으나 큰 차이는 없었으나 산란율에 있어서는 14%의 월등한 증가율을 보였다. 난중의 비타민 A, D와 E의 함량 분석 결과, 사육 기간 10일차까지는 비타민 A와 E의 함량은 대조구에 비해 감소하였으나 이후 120% 정도의 큰 증가율을 보였다. 비타민 D는 대조구에 비해 20%정도 더 많이 검출되었다.

  • This paper suggests the methods of curriculum-standards analysis and collection analysis. This paper also designs the sample of archival contents for education based on this methods. This paper intends to verify the methods and to suggest a model of archival contents for education available in connection with the curriculum-standards by designing the archival contents for education on national unification in high school classrooms.

  • 일차 담수어류의 잉어과(Cyprinidae)에 속하는 Zacco속 어류 4종과 이와 근인관계가 가까운 Candid유속 어류 1종에 대한 유전적 변이를 조사하기 위하여, 한국, 일본 및 대만에서 채집된 개체를 대상으로 전기영동을 실시하여 24-28개의 유전자를 검출 분석하였다. 각 종의 유전적 변이 정도를 조사한 결과 Zaccoplotypus는 전 집단 평균 h: 1.22, p= 17. 52%, HD = 0.053 및 HD= 0.056으로서 조사한 전종중에서일근 변이가 가장 높았다. Z. pachycepholus의 유전적 변이 정도는 A= 1.17, p= 14.8%, HD: 0.026, HG=0.027로서 Z. ploDpus보다 변이 정도가 낮았고, Z. temminck와 Candidia barbata는 각기 A= 1.07, p =7.95%, HD = 0.011, HG = 0.013 및 A= 1.05, P= 3.7%, Hd: 0.013, HG = 0.011로서 변이 정도가 가장 낮았다. Z. Platypus의 경우 한국집단이 변이가 가장 높았으며 대만집단이 가장 낮았다. Zacco속과 Candid지속 어류의 평균 유전적 변이정도는 타어류의 유전적 변이보다 낮았으며 이는 한국산 담수어류중 잉어과 어류의 일반적인 특징이라 사료된다.

  • The cardiac anatomic position immediately beneath the sternum leaves it vulnerable to injury when this bone is fractured. Cardiac rupture, however, is uncommon but survival following this injury is rare. We report the case of one patient who survived right ventricle perforation resulting from sternal fracture. The patient developed signs of pericardial tamponade and was brought to the operating theatre immediately for surgery through the emergency anterolateral thoracotomy Perforation of th right ventricle was repaired by direct closure without cardiopulmonary bypass. We believe that patients with cardiac rupture who reach the hospital alive can often be saved by prompt diagnosis and surgery.

Effects of Dietary Organic Selenium and Vitamin E on Growth Performance, Selenium Retention and Quality of Meat in Broiler Chickens (유기태 셀레늄과 Vitamin E의 복합 급여가 육계의 생산성, 계육 품질 및 Selenium 축적에 미치는 영향)

  • The experiment was conducted to examine the effects of dietary organic selenium and vitamin E on weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion, and selenium retention in meat of broiler chickens. For each growth phase, the basal diet was supplemented with 0 (control), vitamin E 150 IU/kg and the combination of 1.2 ppm Se from selenium yeast (SY) and vitamin E 100, 150, 200 and 300 IU/kg. Weight gain was significantly higher in supplemental control and vitamin E 150 compared to the combination of 1.2 ppm SY and vitamin E 150 IU during day 1 to 21. Feed intake significantly(P<0.05) increased in supplemental vitamin E 150 compared to the combination of 1.2 ppm SY and vitamin E 150 and 200 IU during day 1 to 21. Feed intake was significantly(P<0.05) higher in control compared to that of combination of 1.2 ppm SY and vitamin E 200 IU during day 21 to 35. However feed conversion was not affected in supplemental vitamin E and SY during day 1 to 35. Selenium concentrations of breast muscle and liver tissue significantly increased (P<0.05) in supplemental combination of 1.2 ppm SY and vitamin E compared to the control and vitamin E 150 IU. TBARS of control and vitamin E 150 IU were significantly (P<0.05) higher in day 3 than day 1, but the combination of Se 1.2 ppm and vitamin E of TBARS had no difference during day 1 to 3. TBARS in day 3 was significantly (P<0.05) lower in supplemental combination of Se 1.2 ppm and vitamin E than control and vitamin E 150 IU.

Distribution of bacterial population and activities at the tidal flat in southern area of Ganghwa Island, Korea (강화도 남단 갯벌에서의 세균수 및 활성의 분포)

  • Vertical distribution of bacterial population and activities were compared between the muddy and sandy sediment of the tidal flat located in southern area of Ganghwa Island. The average of bacterial number and activities in mud flat was slightly higher than that in sand flat. Bacterial number was markedly increased at the sandflat during the investigation period, which seemed to be the result of increase of mud content. The number and activities of microorganisms in mudflat was comparable to that of the mangrove sediments. There was no differences in bacterial number with the depth, but the aminopeptidase activity and bacterial productivity were decreased markedly within 3~5cm depth of sediment due to the availability of carbon sources and molecular oxygen in pore water. The number and activities of microorganisms in mudflat did not correlated with the distribution of benthic microalgae; however, those in sand flat were closely correlated with the distribution of benthic microalgae. The distribution of marsh plant in the mudflat area might be the reason of the difference.

Endoscopic Laser Cordectomy for Early Glottic Cancer (초기 성문암종에서 레이저를 이용한 성대절제술의 효과)

  • Early detection of glottic cancer, facilitated by rigid telescopes or flexible fiberoptic laryngoscope in addition to sparse true vocal cord lymphatics, makes this a highly curable tumor in its early stage. Early glottic cancer has a high cure rate with only radiotherapy or conservative surgery. However complications such as mucositis with radiotherapy and voice complications with conservative surgery has raised recent interest in endolaryngeal laser cordectomy. Laser cordectomy can preserve phonatory function and avoid the complications such as mucositis of radiotherapy. To determine the effectiveness of laser cordectomy, the authors made a two year retrospective study of 23 early glottic cancer cases. Fourteen cases(60.9%) who underwent 1 to 3 endoscopic laser cordectomy with KTP-532 laser were cured with this procedure alone. Seven cases needed an additional radiotherapy and three cases needed therapy with salvage operation. We conclude that the endoscopic laser surgery is a good strategy for the properly selected glottic cancer.

Effects of Packaging Materials and Storage Temperature on the Shelf-life of Korean Grinded Yam (포장재료와 보관온도에 따른 갈은 마의 저장수명 및 품질변화에 관한 연구)

  • This study analyzed effects of packaging materials and storage temperature on the shelf-life of Korean grinded yam. For experimental measurement, experimental groups were used $PET(12{\mu}m)/Al(9{\mu}m)/LLDPE(60{\mu}m)$ as opaque barrier packaging material and $PET(12{\mu}m)/PE(20{\mu}m)/VM-PET(12{\mu}m)/PE(25{\mu}m$) and barrier $NY(15{\mu}m)/LLDPE(60{\mu}m$) as transparent barrier packaging material. Control group were used normal $NY(15{\mu}m)/LLDPE(65{\mu}m)$. The grinded yam stored at refrigeration temperature ($5^{\circ}C$) and room temperature ($20^{\circ}C$C) for 8 days. Changes in color, pH, viscosity, microorganisms and sensory characteristics were measured. In the grinded yam L and ${\Delta}E$ value were not changed rapidly at refrigeration temperature. However L and ${\Delta}E$ were rapidly changed in all of packaging materials at room temperature. In two temperature condition, pH and viscosity were decreased during storage but pH was increased at $5^{\circ}C$ after 4 days. PET/Al/LLDPE and PET/PE/VM-PET/PE inhibited the growth of microorganisms effectively. PET/AL/LLDPE which is a high barrier packaging material showed the best in two temperature condition.

Microbial and Physiochemical Characteristics of Pork Loin Cuts Treated with Ozone Gas During Storage (오존가스 처리가 저장기간 중 포장 돈육의 미생물학적, 이화학적 특성에 미치는 영향)

  • This experiment was conducted to investigate the changes of pork meat quality characteristics exposed to ozone gas for 5, 10, and 15 min and then vacuum packaged during storage for 0, 5, 10, 15, and 20 day at $4^{\circ}C$. The ozone gas exposed groups of pork loin cuts (OZM) had slightly higher pH value compared to the control at day 0 and 5 (p<0.01). The 15 min exposure of ozone gas groups showed significantly (p<0.01) higher TBARS value than that of control at the day 15 and 20. However, there was no significant difference in all groups at day 0,5, and 10. The CIE $L^*$ and $b^*$ values of OZM showed no significant difference between control and ozone gas treated groups during storage. The loin cut color of ozone gas exposure for 15 min had significantly lower CIE $a^*$ values than the other groups at day 0,5, and 15 (p<0.01). The aerobic plate count and coliform bacteria count of pork loin cuts exposed ozone gas significantly (p<0.01) was reduced at day 0 by about $0.45-1.04\;log_{10}CFU/g$ and $0.26-0.30\;log_{10}CFU/g$, respectively. As ozone gas exposure time extended, the aerobic plate count and coliform bacteria count of OZM were increased at day 0, 5, and 10 (p<0.01). However, there were no significant differences observed among groups at day 20 in the counts of aerobic and coliform bacteria. In conclusion, the meat cuts exposed to ozone gas for 5 and 10 min before packing may be a reasonable packing method regarding the effects of ozone level on meat oxidation, color change and microbial reduction.

Changes in physicochemical components of Astragalus membranaceus fermented with Phellinus linteus (상황버섯균 접종 황기의 배양 중 이화학적 성분변화)

  • This study analyzed the changes in physicochemical components of Astragalus membranaceus (AM) fermented with Phellinus linteus. Moisture content, pH, total acidity, total reducing sugar content, extraction yield, free sugar content, free amino acid and isoflavonoid (calycosin, formononetin) were investigated. The moisture content was increased during fermentation with Phellinus linteus. The pH level increased while the total acidity significantly decreased during fermentation. The reducing sugar content were in the range of 0.32~0.61%. The extraction yield using water was higher than that using 80% ethanol. The major free sugars were identified as glucose, fructose, sucrose and the content of free sugars decreased through fermentation. However, the glucose and sucrose contents of the water extracts were increased. In addition, the free amino acid increased significantly during fermentation. Finally, calycosin and formononetins contents in water extracts of after 30 days of AM fermentaion with Phellinus linteus were (3.91 mg/100 g) and (1.38 mg/100 g), respectively. These results suggest that fermentation with Phellinus linteus could be used to increase the bioactivity of AM. The mycelium-fermented AM could be a valuable source of functional material and edible resource for industry.
