The purpose of this study is to analyse various laws and systems to support IT assistive devices for persons with severe disabilities and draw suggestions for laws and systems on the support of IT assistive devices for the ones in Korea. This study identified the details of laws and systems to provide conveniences for the engagement of the daily life and rehabilitation by persons with severe disabilities in New Freedom Initiative policy of President Bush, the Rehabilitation Assistive Technology Act, the US Disabilities Act and the Assistive Technology Act, and analysed the implementation process therefrom. To increase conveniences and introduce rehabilitation technology for facilitating life conveniences of persons with disabilities, it is necessary to establish the arrangement and application of systems and professional personnel through the demand survey on the need for IT assistive devices of persons with severe disabilities in Korea, the support on the developers of IT assistive device program and hardware, the analysis on the roles of rehabilitation professionals and service experts with respect to the distribution system.

어린이 도서관은 일상생활 가까이에서 지역주민에게 지식정보 서비스를 제공할 뿐 아니라 공공도서관과의 연계를 통해 우리나라 전체 도서관 서비스의 수준을 발전시키고자 하는 생활 친화적 문화기반 시설인 소규모 도서관(혹은 문고)시설이다. 즉 어린이 도서관은 접근성을 가장 큰 장점으로 하여 누구나 쉽고 편리하게 이용할 수 있는 고객중심의 공공도서관 서비스라고 할 수 있다. 어린이 도서관의 주 이용고객은 어린이와 주부로서 최근 이들이 함께 도서관을 이용하는 빈도가 증가하면서 어린이 도서관은 단순히 책을 빌리고 공부를 하는 장소에서 나아가 가족단위의 여가활동이 가능한 문화적 공간으로 변모하여가고 있다. 어린이 도서관은 기본적으로 책을 읽는 조용한 공간이지만 주 이용자가 6세 미만의 유아와 초등학교 저학년 어린이이기에 독서행위와 더불어 또래 친구들과의 친교행위. 부모님과의 정서적 유대감 형성행위, 소규모 근육활동과 같은 놀이행위가 병행된다. 또 어린이 도서관에서 사용되어지는 정형적인 모듈의 서가를 비롯한 입식. 좌식 테이블과 의자들은 소수의 디자이너에 의해 만들어진 것이지만 그것을 이용하는 다수의 어린이들은 디자이너의 의도와 방법에 따라 가구를 사용하는 것 외에도 환경적 컨텍스트에 맞추어 가구의 새로운 쓰임을 발견하며 훨씬 더 다채로운 방법으로 가구를 사용하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 독서 및 놀이 행위 시 아동-부모의 상호작용 방법에 기반하여 아동의 가구사용방법(Way of Seat)을 알아보고 이를 바탕으로 어린이의 행태정보를 모델링하여 가구를 사용하는 어린이의 다양한 행위 이면에 내재된 요구를 파악하는데 있다. 가구를 사용하는 어린이의 다양한 행태 이면에 내재한 어린이만의 특성과 요구를 알아보기 위해서는 먼저 어린이 도서관이라는 특수한 물리적 환경요인 및 사용자 컨텍스트(Context)에 대한 이해가 선행되어야 한다. 이를 위해 기반조사 및 어린이 도서관 방문을 통한 정황조사(Contextual Inquiry)를 실시하였다. 이를 통해 6세 미만의 유아와 초등학생의 가구사용방법(Way of Seat)과 독서 및 놀이 행위 시 행태를 관찰하여 Photo Based Research를 바탕으로 어린이의 행태정보를 모델링 하였다.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the effect of stress and the behavioral index factor of the people with intellectual disabilities living in residential facilities on their life satisfaction. A questionnaire survey was conducted between March 5 and September 22, 2014 among a sample of 200 people with intellectual disabilities living in the residential facility in Daejeon Metropolitan City. Surveyed data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation models using SPSS WIN 18.0 and Amos 21.0 program, and verified at 5% significance level. Results from the study are as follows. First, no link was found between stress and their life satisfaction. Second, no correlation was identified between the behavioral index factor and their satisfaction with the facility. Third, concerning the physical symptoms it was indicated that their satisfaction level with the facility bears a positive relationship with their overall life satisfaction. These findings would provide a solid base from which policy makers can develop the policies to improve the satisfaction of people with intellectual disabilities living in residential facilities and reduce stress in their daily life.

As elderly population increases their use of public libraries also increases, and thus, public library services for older people need to be more developed. The information needs of older population are mostly related to the everyday life, such as health, medical care, social welfare, the main services of public library community information services or information and referral services. Through a literature review, foreign case studies, homepage surveys, site surveys, this study explores types and content of community information for elderly people, and suggests, ways of enhancing community information services for elderly people.

The purpose of this study is to portray the phenomena of information poverty of the families of children with developmental disabilities. The focus was especially put on investigating their information needs of everyday lives and information-seeking behaviors. The sample group includes six children with developmental disabilities and their families, mainly mothers. The investigation was conducted by the participant observation and in-depth interviews. The study found out that they sought the formal information sources such as medical specialists and special agencies first with which they were not satisfied. As a result, they rather relied on informal information sources. And the information from 'the group of families of children with developmental disabilities' was thought to be the most reliable information for them. In terms of information related behaviors, the strongest information needs were regarding the children's special education, especially to the school education, and they made effort to seek reliable information. They, however, tended to passively treat their personal concerns that are not related to their disabled children. This study found out that their information poverty is in terms of the information environment, information sources and their attitude to information, and that it comes from the external(social) factors as well as internal(individual) ones.

노인인구의 증가로 이에 대한 건강문제와 성인병의 증대 및 바쁜 일상생활로 인하여 본인의 건강상태를 수시로 스스로 확인할 수 있는 방안으로 무선데이터를 이용한 원격진료 시스템에 대한 요구가 크게 일어나고 있다. 이를 위해서 양방향 데이터 전송이 가능한 기기 (예를 들어 무선호출기나 휴대폰을 개량한 기기)를 이용해 실시간으로 혈당치나 혈압 측정치 등 종합적인 건강정보를 전송하고 이를 자동진단프로그램으로 위험여부를 판별해 경고하는 동시에 자신의 주치의에게 통보되는 시스템을 구현하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 혈당치와 혈압 측정치의 데이터에 대하여 자동진단프로그램을 이용하여 관리도를 자동 생성하고 이를 전 문의사의 지식에 의한 진단프로그램과 연계하여 관리 한계선을 벗어나면 위험을 알리게 되고, 전문가시스템을 도입한 1대 1 대화형으로 자체진단을 하게 하는 인터넷 기반 진단프로그램을 개발하여 고객의 건강상태를 진단하게 한다. 본 연구는 기존의 이동통신기술을 혈압측정기와 결합시켜 의료기관과 연결시키는 데이터 전송기술을 응용하고, 의사가 실제 환자 앞에서 행하는 진료 과정을 원격으로 실시하는 원격진료 시스템의 프로토타입 개발을 목표로 하고 있다.

우리 사회의 고령화가 지속됨에 따라 퇴행성 척추 질환 및 관련 수술이 큰 폭으로 증가되고 있다. 척추 질환은 일상생활을 불가능하게 하며, 경제활동을 어렵게 하여 결과적으로는 삶의 질을 훼손시킨다. 따라서 고령화 사회를 대비하기 위해, 노령 척추 질환에 대한 적절한 진단과 치료, 재활에 도움을 줄 수 있는 가상 척추의 개발이 절실히 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 가상 척추의 기반이 될 노령 척추 데이터베이스를 설계하고 이를 관리하는 체제를 소개한다.

With the development of Smartphone, Smartphone contains diverse functions including many sensors that can describe users' state. So there has been increased studies rapidly about activity recognition and life pattern recognition with Smartphone sensors. This research suggest modeling of the activity data to classify extracted data in existing activity recognition study. Activity data is divided into two parts: Physical activity and Logical Activity. In this paper, activity data modeling is theoretical analysis. We classified the basic activity(walking, standing, sitting, lying) as physical activity and the other activities including object, target and place as logical activity. After that we suggested a method of visualizing modeling data for users. Our approach will contribute to generalize human's life by modeling activity data. Also it can contribute to visualize user's activity data for existing activity recognition study.

The purpose of this study is to review information services in public libraries based on web sites. Four evaluation criteria. interface. searching, contents and communication are usually used to measure web sites. Because interface and searching are contained hardware elements, these are not included to this review. For this study contents and communication are examined into operating at public libraries web sites. Also analyzed is gateway function providing community information services and researchers information.

With the entry into an aged society, interest and demand for the elderly are increasing. The rapid increase in the elderly is calling for change in various fields. As the opportunities and desires of the elderly to participate in society increase, research on services suitable for the elderly society is needed. Although the expansion of convenience facilities and improvement of the system are being made to solve problems arising from the elderly society, there are many shortcomings in the increasing demand of the elderly. In addition, due to aging, they have difficulty in living independently and independently due to the decline in their daily life ability and physical function. To solve these problems, the government and local governments provide various services for the elderly. The service for the elderly is provided based on the general characteristics of the elderly, so it has limitations in customized services. In this paper, present a service model using extended information in ICT-based services to complement these problems. Scalable information uses IoT environments to collect information and environmental information for the elderly. Service support using information on the expansion of the elderly shall identify the characteristics of the elderly and support appropriate services when users request services. The proposed method may support self-reliance services that reflect the characteristics and needs of the elderly.
