With the ongoing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, there is an increasing interest in the sequelae and care in recovered patients. Although the long-term sequelae of COVID-19 are still unknown, recently published reports suggest that some of the patients have persistent symptoms and show radiologic abnormalities after discharge. Herein, we present cases of four patients with previous COVID-19 infection manifesting pulmonary sequelae, including pulmonary fibrosis or organizing pneumonia pattern with persistent dyspnea after recovery.

Carcinoma of the axillary tail of Spence is a rare type of breast cancer that develops at a specific anatomical position in the breast, with an incidence of approximately 0.3%. It should be differentiated from axillary soft tissue tumor, axillary ectopic breast cancer, and lymph node metastases of breast and other primary cancers. Here, we report a case of carcinoma of the axillary tail of Spence in a 47-year-old patient who visited our clinic with a lower axillary mass and was diagnosed based on mammography, US, CT, and MRI findings.

Granular cell tumors (GCTs) are rare soft tissue tumor, originating from neural or perineural cells. We present a case of axillary GCT in a 69-year-old woman with breast cancer history and discuss the various radiologic findings. US revealed a circumscribed oval heterogeneous iso- and hyperechoic mass in the left axilla. Chest CT showed a well-defined, oval, and mildly enhancing mass in the left axilla on the lateral aspect of the pectoralis muscle. A final diagnosis of GCT was made through US-guided core needle biopsy. Follow-up US showed no significant changes in the axillary GCT. Familiarity with GCT may facilitate early diagnosis and subsequent management.

Various branch anomalies of the aortic arch have been reported, but cases with separate origins of the internal and external carotid arteries with combined direct aortic arch origin of the left vertebral artery are extremely rare. Herein, we present a rare case of aplasia of the left common carotid artery with separate origins of the ipsilateral internal and external carotid arteries and vertebral artery from the aortic arch in a 10-year-old girl. In addition, we review the embryological development and clinical implications of these anatomical variations.

Malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor (MPNST), a rare soft-tissue sarcoma, is most commonly located in the trunk, extremities, and head and neck, but rare in the breast. We report a metastatic breast MPNST in a 27-year-old woman with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF-1). Chest computed tomography revealed a well-defined, oval, mildly enhancing nodule in the right breast. US revealed a circumscribed, oval, heterogeneous echoic mass with vascularity and intermediate elasticity in the right upper outer breast. The breast mass was excised and diagnosed as MPNST on histopathology evaluation. Although rare, it should be included in the differential diagnosis of breast mass in NF-1 patient.

Purpose: To present a rare case of tear drainage since birth from a lacrimal ductule fistula, which is the first report in the Republic of Korea. Case summary: A 3-month-old female who presented with discharge of clear fluid from a small skin opening lateral to the right upper eyelid since birth visited the outpatient clinic. The patient was healthy and was receiving no medication. She was born on gestation age 35 weeks and 3 days. No other specific history or other ophthalmic abnormality was found. On examination, a small skin orifice approximately 2 mm diameter and no sign of infection or discoloration was observed. To relieve this symptom, the patient underwent a fistulectomy under general anesthesia. Histopathological examination of the surgical specimen was performed. The patient's symptom subsided postoperatively without recurrence. Conclusions: This is the first report in the Republic of Korea of tears draining from a lacrimal ductule fistula since birth and the subsequent clinical treatment procedures.

Hibernoma is a rare benign tumor of brown adipose tissue. Herein, we report a case of axillary hibernoma in a 53-year-old female and discuss the various radiologic findings. The US revealed a 4.5-cm well-defined oval heterogenous hyperechoic mass in the right axilla with anterior displacement of the axillary vessels. Non-enhanced chest CT showed a 5.0-cm well defined, oval, and low-attenuated mass. MRI demonstrated a 5.5-cm mass with heterogeneous intermediate-to-high signal intensity on T1-and T2-weighted images and irregular enhancement at the peripheral portion. The patient underwent an US-guided core needle biopsy and the final diagnosis was hibernoma.
