국제지리학연합(I.G.U)이 발족한 이래(1871년) 한국대표가 본회의에 참가하게 된 것은 극히 최근의 일이다. 공식기록에 의하면 1952년에 1만명, 1960년에 2명, 1968년에 1명이었으며, 이번 1972년 8월 10일부터 17일까지 Motreal, Canada에서 열린 회의에는 Utah대학의 이정만 교수와 필자뿐이었다. 이 글은 일개 지리학도인 필자가 본회의에서 보고, 듣고, 느낀바를 적은 것이다. 가까운 장래의 국제지리학회를 한국에 유치시킬수 있게 되기를 희망하며 아울러 차기대회에 대한 참고자료가 되어주기를 바라는 마음에서 회의전반에 걸쳐 회의장, 회의진행과 분위기, 각종전시, 논문발표, 출판물 및 차기대회에 관한 제언등에 관하여 서술하고자 한다.

이 연구 대상자는 일개 대학병원 응급의료센터로 소방구급대를 통해 내원한 환자 중 컴퓨터 단층촬영으로 뇌졸중으로 진단된 환자에서 이송 시 환자평가 시행에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 연구이다. 연구결과 환자 평가에 영향을 미치는 요인은 환자분류(응급, 비응급, 지연), 의식상태(AVPU 척도)보다는 구급대원 자격별이 병원 전 뇌졸중 환자 이송 시 환자평가 시행에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다.

This study was done to compare college adjustment and life stress of nursing students by grades in Korea. A total of 417 participants were recruited using a convenient sampling method. Data were collected using a self-reported questionnaire from October 15 to October 30, 2019. The results of the study showed that the college adjustment of nursing students was significantly higher in 4th grade (3.45 ± 0.53) than 1st grade (3.18 ± 0.61). Life stress was highest in first grade (0.91 ± 0.46), followed by fourth grade, second grade, and third grade. college adaptation and life stress by grade were inversely correlated in all grades. Therefore, it is necessary to check the difference between college adaptation and life stress according to grade level, and to prepare customized programs according to the grades, so that students can make a good college adjustment through stress management of nursing college students.

This study was collected from June 8, 2023 to June 23, 2023 from 230 nursing students at a university to identify the factors affecting nursing students' adaptation to college. Data was analyzed by frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 24.0 Program. As a result of the study, whether the adaptation to college according to general characteristics has been heard about new technologies(t=2.830, p=.018) showed a statistically significant difference. Nursing students' adaptation to college showed a strong positive correlation with grit and negative correlation with self-control. It was found that nursing students' grit affects the adaptation to college(F=117.48, p<.001), and the explanatory power was 33.7%. It is necessary to develop and apply irregular programs to enhance grit for students' adaptation to college, and repetitive research is needed in consideration of the relationship between technostress and self-control.

The purpose of this study was to examine influences on grit in the nursing student. The data were collected from 146 nursing students in the H university located Y city. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, T-test, ANOVA, Scheffe, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression with SPSS 20.0 program. Grit was found to be in a significant positive correlation with academic stress, academic self-efficacy and major satisfaction. The result of the multiple regression indicates the major satisfaction, academic self-efficacy, academic stress and grade point average predict 22.5% of grit. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an intervention program to strengthen the grit of nursing students.

This study aimed to explore predictors of terminal care stress of nurses. Participants were 197 nurses from a C university hospital in J city. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. On hierarchial multiple regression, dignified dying attitude, turnover intention, well dying attitude, and spirituality explained 39.6% of variance in terminal care stress. The results suggest that dignified dying attitude, well dying attitude, spirituality need to be properly assessed and managed to reduce terminal care stress of nurses.

The purpose of this study is to share and assess the experiences of the emergency remote teaching method adopted for the medical communication course at a medical school due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The standardized patients hired for this 'Emergency Remote Teaching (hereafter ERT)' course said that students' interactions with them were less enthusiastic and less realistic, However, in the one-on-one virtual practice, the students seemed to be more focused than in the existing face to face practice. There were no differences in the unit practice test scores between ERT and the face-to-face course while in the face-to-face final exam, the test scores of FTF students were statistically higher than those of the ERT students, which might have resulted from the different methodologies of teaching. Further research on the virtual medical communication course is necessary to prepare medical students for the adoption of the telemedicine which could be accelerated in the near future.

This study is to establish the direction of special education curriculum by linking the demands of the health industry and the university curriculum. For this, we conducted a questionnaire survey for 4 months from 18 January to 9 May, 2017. Cronbach alpha coefficient was used for the reliability of the study, frequency analysis was used mainly for the contents of the study, and chi-square test, variance analysis and T test were applied to the study. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.891. Variance analysis, T test and chi-square test show some significant differences. The results of this study are as follows: 35% of practitioners and 22% of convergent intellectuals are desirable in institutions. Practical needs of practitioners are creative practicality, medical policy (58%). It will be necessary to conduct a nationwide survey in the future.
