An Exploratory Study on the Organizational Capabilities Required for WiBro Service Provider (휴대인터넷 서비스 제공업체가 갖추어야 하는 역량에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • This study is to investigate how mobile internet service users recognize that Wibro service providers should be equipped with what type of organizational capabilities. Especially. this stud y, in exploratory point of view, examines the recognition is differed by characteristics of Wibro service users. This study also is to suggest a few of research propositions regarding the relations hips between organizational capabilities and characteristics of Wibro service users from various statistical analyses. To accomplish these research purposes, this study defined characteristics of Wibro service users (sender, age, job) and organizational capabilities of Wibro service provide rs ( accounting/finance capabilities, production/service capabilities, marketing/sales capabilities. research and development/technology capabilities) based on the review of past mobile interne t service related studies. And then, this study performed not only questionnaire survey on latent Wibro service users but also various statistical analyses.

  • In spite of proliferating E-business success stories, many executives urge that they have not realized the return expected from investments in Internet-based E-business systems, Most of businesses tend to focus on immediate financial payoffs and overlook the improvements in information capabilities and business performance, The purpose of the research is to investigate the effects of Internet-based E-business systems on organizations' information capabilities, business performance, and financial performance, and to illustrate the roles and values of the systems in achieving business goals. Findings illustrate that when an organization's information capabilities are enhanced by Internet-based E-business systems, business performance tends to improve. In addition, the study implies that the business performance improvement may create consumer benefits, which would be indispensable factors to make a profit.

Moderating Effect of Security Ability on the Relation between Privacy Concern and Internet Activities

  • This study explored the moderating effects of security ability on the influence of privacy concerns on internet activity using Korea media panel survey data. To this end, we applied between-subjects factorial design between 2 (privacy concern high / low) × 2 (security ability high / low) groups and compared five types of internet activity among four groups by variance analysis. As a result, privacy concerns have a main effect on internet activity, and security ability have a moderating role in this relationship. Despite the privacy concerns, people do their internet activities in order to enjoy the benefit from the internet. This study have academic implication in that it focus on the issue of privacy paradox in terms of the type of internet activity. In addition, practical implications are that, in order to activate online activities of individuals in an internet-connected society, efforts for enhancing their security abilities are necessary.

Factors Influencing Internet Media Credibility among College Students (대학생들의 인터넷 미디어 신뢰도에 영향을 미치는 요인 고찰 - 미디어 리터러시 역량을 중심으로)

  • This study explored the perception of internet media credibility and influencing factors among college students who are routine users of internet-based media. Media literacy competences are of primary interest among others in that users' media literacy such as information evaluation, critical understanding of media, and information sharing are assumed to be related to media credibility. The results of analysis revealed critical understanding ability to be statistically significant and consistently influencing factor. Users with more critical view on media ownership, represented reality, commercial intention of media seemed less likely to trust internet media. Whereas media use motive for information was found to be a strong predicting factor, motive for pleasure showed no relationship with credibility. Based on the findings, suggestions for new research and limitations of the study were discussed.

A Validity Study for the Development of a Digital Competency Assessment Tool for Preschool Teachers (유아교사의 디지털 역량 측정 도구 개발을 위한 타당성 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is examine the validity of digital competency indicators in order to develop a tool that can measure the digital competency of preschool teachers. To review the validity, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were conducted on the data of 272 preschool teachers. The exploratory factor analysis resulted in four factors, and the confirmatory factor analysis verified the fit, validity(convergent validity, discriminant validity) and reliability of each competency group and the model composition of sub-competency indicators. The four factors validated were named 'Understanding Digital Technologies', 'Digital Technology Understanding', 'Digital Technology Application', 'Digital Technology-based Communication', 'Digital Ethics Understanding and Practice'. The analysis results demonstrated the reliability and validity of the tool for measuring the digital competencies of preschool teachers, and it is meaningful in that it can provide a foundation for measuring the digital competency of preschool teachers and conducting education program suitable for each digital competency level.

Development of Internet Vulnerability Index for Youth through Internet Overdependency Analysis (인터넷 과의존 요인분석을 통한 청소년의 인터넷 취약성 지수 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the Internet vulnerability index of adolescents. To do this, we used the original data of long - term follow - up survey for the internet overdependency cause analysis conducted by NIA in 2018, and analyzed the correlation between alternatives of internet vulnerability index and personal psychology by using linear regression analysis. Factor analysis showed that the relationship with the surroundings was indexed by adding 9 items to positive factors such as family acceptance, peer attachment, and teacher favorability. The relationship between the surroundings and self - stigmatization is confirmed, and the relationship between the surroundings and the Internet fragility is predicted to be negatively related, and the digital capacity is also assumed to be negatively correlated with the Internet vulnerability. In order to develop the specific form of the Internet vulnerability index, personal psychology and linear regression analysis were conducted. As a result, positive factors and R value of personal psychology were increased when considering the relationship with the environment and the digital capacity rather than the Internet overdependency model. Based on these implications, we discussed the implications and limitations of this study.

A Study on the Internet-Based Educational Contents Development and Evaluation for Teacher Librarian's Competency (사서교사의 교수역량 신장을 위한 인터넷 기반 교육용 컨텐츠 개발 및 평가 연구)

  • School library concentrates its focus on how information literacy is implemented through the collaborative efforts of classroom teachers and teacher librarian. The role of teacher librarian and the competencies they need in order to succeed have changed over many years. However, current LIS education for teacher librarian has limitations in terms of institution, curriculum. In this research, I designed and implemented an Internet-based educational contents development and evaluation for teacher librarian's competency. This system was development by lecture authoring tool(LectureMAKER v2.0). This study tested the effectiveness of the system was verified by survey by 51 college students. The test paper consisted of 20 items(5 scale) for measuring teaching competencies of college students. This study verified effectiveness of the Internet-Based Educational Contents by two dependent samples t-test, Levene test.

  • 공과대학생의 평생학습역량 증진을 위하여 학습역량을 진단하고 수준에 따른 맞춤형 학습역량 향상 로드맵을 제시할 필요가 있다. 이를 위하여 학습역량 진단도구를 선행연구를 분석하였다. 대부분의 연구에서는 핵심역량을 포함하여 학습역량 진단도구를 개발한 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 핵심역량과 별도의 학습-특정적인 진단도구를 개발하기 위하여 학습역량의 구성요인을 정의하고 예비 진단도구 안을 제시하였다.
