데이터베이스에 저장되는 데이터의 양은 급격히 증가되어 왔고, 사용자들은 필요한 데이터를 찾기 위해 서말이 넘는 땀방울을 흘려야 했다. 그러나 새로운 탐색 기술들이 이러한 문제에 대한 해답을 제시하고 있다. 자연언어 질의, 역-인덱싱, 인터넷 탐색 엔진, 데이터베이스 텍스트 탐색 같은 기술들은 사용자의 오랜 숙원을 해결해줄 기대주로 관심을 모으고 있다. 자유 형식 정보 소스들로부터 정보의 특별한 탐색과 추출을 수행하기 위해 사용 가능한 보다 새로운 탐색 기술들과 기법들을 소개한다.

인터넷 접속은 방대한 접속수를 가진 웹사이트와 콘텐츠를 쾌적하게 연결시키는 것이 목표다. 엑소더스라는 기업은 데이터 센터만으로는 콘텐츠가 어디든 연결된다는 것을 보증할 수 없다는 전제 아래 네트워크의 고객외 페이지에서 버킷을 끄집어내 그것을 마지막 사용자에게 연결하는 방법을 사용한다. 여기서도 신뢰성, 스케러비리티, 그리고 보안이 중요함은 물론이다. Yahoo!를 비롯한 방대한 접속수를 가진 닷컴기업의 웹사이트의 운용을 맡고 있는 엑소더스에 대해 알아본다.

이번에 구축되는 첨단과학분야의 DB들은 슈퍼컴퓨터를 사용해야만 하는 방대한 데이터 양을 처리해야 되거나 혹은 계산알고리즘을 포함하고 있다. 또한 구축되는 DB들을 일반 상요자와 연결하는 정보서비스 시스템을 포함하고 있다. 따라서 연구개발 정보센터는 일반사용자가 획득하고자 하는 정보를 One-stop으로 제공받을 수 있ㄷ록 인터넷, 관련 공공망 그리고 슈퍼컴퓨터 센터의 전국망인 HPCNat을 통한 정보서비스 계획을 고려하고 있다.

In recent years, with the advancement of IT technology, we expect data size of the world to increase 10 times in 2025. The rapid development of this Internet technology leads to the downsizing of the server system of the data center which manages and operates the data, the capacity of the storage medium, and the power consumption of the data center. In this paper, we propose an energy conservation policy and analyze it in real time by analyzing the power consumption pattern of the server system of the data center. The proposed system can monitor and analyze the power consumption pattern of the individual server system in the data center, and it can be expected that about 10% of the total power consumption of the data center will be saved by efficiently managing the actual operation time of the server system.

In workflow process intelligence and systems, workflow process mining and analysis issues are becoming increasingly important. In order to improve the quality of workflow process intelligence, it is essential for an efficient and effective data center storing workflow enactment event logs to be provisioned in carrying out the workflow process mining and analytics. In this paper, we propose a three-dimensional process-aware datacube for organizing workflow enterprise data centers to efficiently as well as effectively store the workflow process enactment event logs in the XES format. As a validation step, we carry out an experimental process mining to show how much perfectly the process-aware datacubes are suitable for discovering workflow process patterns and its analytical knowledge, like enacted proportions and enacted work transferences, from the workflow process enactment event histories. Finally, we confirmed that it is feasible to discover the fundamental control-flow patterns of workflow processes through the implemented workflow process mining system based on the process-aware data cube.

본 연구에서는 외부와 유무선 접속기능을 갖는 무인창구 자동화기기(CD, ATM, 통장정리기, 발권기, 무인자동발급기, 지하철 게이트 등)를 인터넷망에 접속하여 기기의 장애/ 이력 관련정보를 Server의 데이터 베이스에 저장하고, 인터넷에 접속되어 있는 A/S 센터에서 필요한 정보를 쉽고 효율적으로 검색, 운용할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하는 방법을 제시한다.

불과 몇 년전에 다가왔던 데이터 웨어하우스의 개념이 이젠 정보산업의 핵심으로 부상하고 있으며 IT업계 전체를 변화시킬 태세를 취하고 있다. 기존의 DBMS업체와 데이터 웨어하우스 업체, 그리고 신생 소프트웨어 업체들이 데이터 웨어하우스 시장에 뛰어 들고 있으며 고객관리시스템의 핵심인 CTI관련 업체들도 데이터 웨어하우스 업체와의 전략적 제휴를 통해 사업을 확장시키고 있다. 또한 데이터 웨어하우스가 속속 구축되면서 DW관리를 위한 도구 시장도 대두되고 있으며, 인터넷 쇼핑몰 업체는 매출을 높이기 위해 전자상거래와 데이터 웨어하우스를 연동시키고 있다. 다각화되는 데이터 웨어하우스의 시장 동향과 관련업계 전략을 살펴봤다.
