  • One kind of crowdsourcing techniques which allow drivers to collect and provide traffic information using smartphones and applications is being introduced to ITS system as well. The introduction of crowdsourcing techniques requires changes in the existing ITS based on Insourcing which provide traffic information generated by detectors through VMS. ITS Information have had two problems, one is the high cost and the other is an interrupted service. Experts expect crowdsourcing technique which is created SNS, will overcome problems of ITS. But, there are not many examples and research results. Crowdsourcing technique was utilized in Jeju ATMS project to install ITS on the coastal round roads around Jeju since ITS to install point detectors turned out to be non-economic method in case of the coastal round roads with low traffic volume. However, there existed links in which traffic information cannot be generated as there were no smartphone users (crowds) even in the cost-effective crowdsourcing techniques, which indicates the fact that the crowdsourcing method is suitable for urban roads with many smartphone users, but not for local minor roads. On the contrary, insourcing-based ITS is considered to be non-economic method in applying to all roads in the city, but it can be effectively utilized in the local minor roads. Accordingly, Inter-sourcing based ITS operating system in which insourcing is connected with crowdsourcing was suggested in this study.

  • This research was conducted to monitor ochratoxin A in wine, beer, $makgeolli$ and fermented alcoholic beverages to estimate the exposure to ochratoxin A in the assorted alcoholic beverages. The analytical method for ochratoxin A was based on immuno-affinity column clean up followed by HPLC-FLD. Ochratoxin A was detected in 30 samples of 177 wine (17%), 25 samples of 106 beer (23.6%), 11 samples of 74 $makgeolli$ (14.9%), and 7 samples of 74 fermented alcoholic beverages (9.5%). The average levels of ochratoxin A were 0.039 ng/mL in wine, 0.010 ng/mL in beer, 0.023 ng/mL in $makgeolli$, and 0.014 ng/mL in fermented alcoholic beverages. The daily dietary exposure level of ochratoxin A estimated by using the report on national health and nutrition survey were 0.039 ng/b.w.day from wine, 0.010 ng/b.w.day from beer, 0.023 ng/b.w.day from $makgeolli$, and 0.014 ng/b.w.day from fermented alcoholic beverage.

  • In the current study, 109 commercial nut samples were collected from different Korean markets and analyzed for the contamination of 5 different mycotoxins (aflatoxin, ochratoxin A, deoxynivalenol, zearalenone, and T-2 toxin) using ELISA kits. The results revealed that the most frequently detected mycotoxin was zearalenone (n=36, 33%), followed by aflatoxin (n=31, 28.4%) and ochratoxin A (n=30, 27.5%). Deoxynivalenol and T-2 toxin were also detected in 22 (20.3%) samples, respectively. Among 109 nut samples, 33 samples (30.3%) were contaminated only with one kind of mycotoxin, whereas 43 samples had at least 2 kinds of mycotoxins. Two samples were contaminated with as many as 4 different mycotoxins, and they were both walnuts. Although the monitoring results revealed the amount of aflatoxin contamination was under the safety criteria, there is no current safety guideline for other kinds of mycotoxins or multiple contaminations in Korea. Therefore, further studies should be performed to reveal the distribution of mycotoxin in different foods and propose appropriate safety guidelines for Korean markets.

  • In this paper, we propose "flexible routing with flex" to provide fast delivery by using the flexible routing for the delivery vehicle and crowd-shipper named flex. To this end, we have introduced an algorithm that can build the delivery plan for delivery vehicles and flexes. The introduced algorithm uses the 2-opt algorithm to construct routes with low complexity and acceptable quality, and the revised saving algorithm to assign customer orders to the flex. The algorithm allows the vehicle and the flex to function complement each other without separating the delivery vehicle from the flex. The experiments consider the 3 different instances named Random, Mixed, Cluster, and show that "the flexible routing with flex" has a better result than "vehicle only". The sensitivity analysis of the flex cost and time penalty shows "the flexible routing with flex" can provide better service not only to the customers who are serviced by flex but also to the customers who are serviced by the delivery vehicle.

  • Quercus serrata degraded by Leminus edodes(berk) Singer was investigated. In order to evaluate on affect of the fungi on the sound logs, and the logs attacted for 2 years and five years were used as a sample tree. Large portions of carbohydrate mainly was decomposed by the fungy. It is supported by the increasing of alkaline extractives and the breaking up of crystallinity. Lignin is transformed considerably as shown the results of the determination of Klason lignin, gel filtration and nitrobezene oxidation. On the other hand, the decreasing of methoxyl group and the increasing of carboxyl group in parallel with demethlation and acidification are presented. Syringyl nuclei unit is decomposed easier than guaiacyl unit. It is also illustrated that the more decreasing of carboxyl group compared with aldehyde group was acidified biodegradation.

  • Fire extinguishing composite materials based on low-viscosity epoxy resin (EP) and containing 50 wt% of encapsulated fire extinguishing agent (EFA) have been studied. The positive effect of the EP on the kinetics and temperature of the EFA decapsulation was established. The EP increases the decapsulation temperature of the EFA from 130 ℃ to 155 ℃ and changes the kinetics of the decapsulation. The epoxy matrix increases the thermal stability of the EFA more than 3.9 times compared to that of the pure EFA. The protective effect of the EP on the storage stability of the EFA was validated. The mass loss of EP-containing EFA at 60 ℃ and 80% humidity over 96 h is 0.4%. The mass loss of pure EFA under the same conditions is 15%. A similar effect was observed under ultraviolet radiation: the EP-containing EFA loses 0.8% at pure EFA mass of 6%. The testing of alternative polymer matrixes has been considered.

  • As functions that support virtualization on their own in hardware are developed, user applications having various workloads are operating efficiently in the virtualization system. SR-IOV is a virtualization support function that takes direct access to PCI devices, thus giving a high I/O performance by minimizing the need for hypervisor or operating system interventions. With SR-IOV, network I/O acceleration can be realized in virtualization systems that have relatively long I/O paths compared to bare-metal systems and frequent context switches between the user area and kernel area. To take performance advantages of SR-IOV, network resource management policies that can derive optimal network performance when SR-IOV is applied to an instance such as a virtual machine(VM) or container are being actively studied. This paper evaluates and analyzes the network performance of SR-IOV implementing I/O acceleration is compared with Virtio in terms of 1) network delay, 2) network throughput, 3) network fairness, 4) performance interference, and 5) multi-network. The contributions of this paper are as follows. First, the network I/O process of Virtio and SR-IOV was clearly explained in the virtualization system, and second, the evaluation results of the network performance of Virtio and SR-IOV were analyzed based on various performance metrics. Third, the system overhead and the possibility of optimization for the SR-IOV network in a virtualization system with high VM density were experimentally confirmed. The experimental results and analysis of the paper are expected to be referenced in the network resource management policy for virtualization systems that operate network-intensive services such as smart factories, connected cars, deep learning inference models, and crowdsourcing.
