This study was conducted a comparative study to identify the differences in service quality between Incheon and Kimpo international Airport and critical factors influencing satisfaction of airport customers. According the results of this study, all service quality factors except the service factor of geographical location of Incheon international airport are better than those of Kimpo international airport. However, all of service quality factors of Incheon airport are evaluated as inferior to those of american, western european and japanese international airports by both the airport visitors and the employees of one korean airliner. In addition the service factors such as response, safety, airport facility and geographical location are found as critical factors influencing satisfaction of the airport visitors and the airliner's employees. Among them the service quality factor of geographical location of Incheon airport is much inferior to that of Kimpo airport comparing with other service quality factors. Thus, the results of this study suggest that the managing team implement TQM and six sigma to enhance the service quality level of the Incheon international airport up to that of the american and western european international airport. Especially, it is strongly required that the Korean governmen deliberate in deciding the geographical location in case of planning new international airport because geographical location is related to not only traffic to airport but also safety of landing, taking off and flying.

Incheon International Airport is total number of passengers using that increased by 8.3 percent year-on-year, with the highest level of user ratings since the opening of the previous year. Thus, After analyzing the positive image of Incheon International Airport and analyzing future corporate image development, the company conducted a study on improving the image of Incheon International Airport. Based on the SERVQUAL method, the study classified the five types of SERVQUAL. The difference in the distinctions of the media coverage varied, and the differences in the credibility of the media show that the differences between the press and the credibility of the media are not reflected in the characteristics of the media. These findings will provide data for the managerial control of corporate images based on positive or negative reporting on the Incheon International Airport, and based on the analysis of the findings, it is believed that it will benefit from being the most high-profile airport.

In this paper, we perform the harmonic filter design for Incheon international airport, especially passenger terminal based on the results of measurement and analysis. Also, we show the waveform of machines which produce harmonics as a harmonic source. For harmonic filter design, we propose the APF(Active Power Filter) and ZSF(Zero Sequence Filter) design. Also, we simulate the filter effects using EDSA package. The results show the effectiveness of the method.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of macroeconomic variables on air passenger demand and provide useful information to airport managers and policymakers. Therefore, using the quarterly macroeconomic indicators from 2002 to 2017, the relationship with air passenger demand was demonstrated by multiple regression analysis. In the previous studies, they used GDP, Korea Treasury Bond, KOSPI index, USD/KRW Exchange Rate, and WTI Crude Oil Price variables. In this study, we used the Coincident Composite Index, Employment Rate, Consumer Sentiment Index, and Private Consumption Rate used as additional variables. It has confirmed that if the consumption of research results expands or the economic environment is right, it will affect the increase in international passengers. In other words, it confirmed that the overall economic situation acts as the main factor determining air passenger demand. It confirmed that the economic environment at the past has a significant impact on air passenger demand.

In this paper, we propose a secure alternative for improving airspace capacity of Incheon International Airport. Since the direction of simultaneous independent approaches to runway 15/16 radar-guided approach for ILS approach procedures for the need to provide control services, in view of the radar is the smallest possible no-fly zone airspace propose the demilitarized zone (P-518) adjustment. If possible simultaneous independent approaches to secure a temporary increase in the holding area due to traffic, the military training airspace gradually secured a total of 10 miles by 5 miles, some military training airspace in Osan Approach Control is proposed to include in Seoul Approach Control.

국내에서는 기후변화로 인해 집중호우 및 태풍 발생이 증가하고 있으며, 이는 자연재해의 발생뿐만 아니라 차량 및 항공 운항의 어려움을 야기한다. 차량 및 항공 운항의 안정성 확보를 위해서는 노면의 마찰저항을 유지하는 것이 중요한데, 강수로 인해 형성되는 수막두께는 노면의 마찰저항을 감소시키므로 포장설계시 고려해야 할 주요소이다. 특히, 물적/인적 이동이 많은 공항은 기상조건에 더욱 취약하며, 기후변화로 인한 강수특성 변화로 활주로의 수막두께 증가 및 운항의 차질이 우려되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 과거 및 미래 강우조건에 따라 활주로 노면의 수막두께를 산정하고, 기후변화에 따른 수막두께의 변화를 평가하고자 한다. 과거 관측 및 기후변화 시나리오를 이용하여 강우자료를 생산하였고, 이를 강우-유출 모형의 강우 입력 자료로 활용하였다. 과거 강우자료는 인천지점의 기상청 관측자료를 수집하였으며, AR5 RCP 시나리오(RCP4.5, RCP8.5) 기반의 적정 GCMs 결과를 활용하여 미래 강우시나리오를 산정하였다. 강우의 재현기간 및 지속시간에 따른 수막두께의 변화를 분석하기 위해 인천지역의 과거 및 미래 확률강우량을 산정하였다. 수막두께를 산정하기 위해 활주로 폭, 경사 등 활주로 제원을 수집하고, 유출 모형의 입력자료를 구축하였다. 과거 및 미래 확률강우량을 SWMM 모형에 적용하여 유출량을 산정하였으며, 유속과 흐름폭으로 나누어 활주로의 수막두께를 산정하였다. 산정결과, 강우량이 증가함에 따라 수막두께는 증가하고, 강우의 지속시간이 증가함에 따라서는 감소하는 것으로 분석되었다. 미래의 경우, 기후변화의 영향에 따라 강수량이 증가하여 수막두께가 과거에 비해 증가하였다.

Baggage Handling System(BHS) is an important element of ground operation services and the importance is further emphasized as air demand increases and passengers change. If there is a problem with departure baggage handling, the aircraft's gate occupancy time will be longer than the initial plan, resulting in congestion of the anchorage leading to final passenger terminal and mooring and road congestion and arrival or It is delayed until the processing of the baggage of the connecting flight and it can cause an economic loss such as confusion in the operation of the airport. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the perception of service quality of BHS users on public Institutions performance through user satisfaction, user performance, and user loyalty. Analysis results using Structural Equation Model was suggested and its implication was discussed in the conclusion.

Purpose: The study aimed to analyze the occurrence and transfer status of emergency patients at Incheon International Airport in Korea. Methods: This study design included 810 patients for eight years, from July 1, 2014 to June 31, 2022. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS statistics version 25.0. Results: For the demographics, 531 (65.6%) were males, 151 (19.5%) were in the highest age group (in their 50s), and 289 (35.9%) were foreigners. The most common place of occurrence was in protected areas in the passenger terminal, with 341 (42.1%) of cases occurring here. The time of arrival at the site (z=-3.444, p=.001), stay duration at the site (z=-8.145, p=. 001), and transfer time (z=-3.623, p=.000) were all significantly longer. Conclusion: It is necessary to consider a rapid emergency transportation plan, such as developing a system that simplifies immigration procedures when emergency patients move from protected areas to general areas. Moreover, in order to quickly respond to foreign emergency patients, detailed characteristics will need to be identified. Lastly, considering the long transfer time, an instructing doctor should accompany an ambulance and actively perform advanced resuscitation.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to design a x-ray screening rating system to improve X-ray screening ability, which is a core job competency of security screener at Incheon International Airport, and to verify its effectiveness through empirical analysis to suggest ways to improve the level management system. Methods: In this study, the effectiveness of the research model was analyzed using T-test tests for effect analysis based on the empirical analysis results derived through the competency evaluation model, the screening rating system. Results: The results of this study are as follows. The average score for regular education before the implementation of the x-ray screening rating system was 94.1 points, but after the implementation of the x-ray screening rating system, the average score for regular education was 95.5 points, an average of 1.4 points increased. In addition, the proportion of those with 95 or more points classified as high scorers also increased significantly from 51.1% to 69.3%. Conclusion: The X-ray screening rating system of security inspectors will systematically manage the level of screening ability, which is a key job competency, and play a strong role in improving competency, while preventing security accidents through early identification and intensive training of level-lowers.
