The purpose of this study is to analyze the muscle activations and Ground Reaction Force(GRF) in university judo players, and provide the guide of training in Judo. Using surface electrode electromyography(EMG), we evaluated muscle activity in 5 university judo players during the Judo Uke Movements. Surface electrodes were used to record the level of muscle activity in the Tibialis Anterior, Rectus Femoris, Elector Spinae, Gluteus Maximus, Gastrocnemius muscles during the Uke. These signals were compared with %RVC(Reference voluntary contraction) which was normalized by IEMG(Integrated EMG). The Uke was divided into four phases : Kuzushi-1, Kuzushi-2, Tsukuri, Kake. The results can be summarized as follows: 1. The effective Uke Movements needs to short time in the Kake Phase 2. The Analysis of Electromyography of Uke Movements in Supporting Leg; TA(Tibialis anterior) had Higher %RVC in the Kuzushi Phase, RF(Rectus Femoris) had Higher %RVC in the Tsukuri Phase, GM(Gluteus Maximus) had Higher %RVC in the Kake Phase 3. The ground reaction force for Z(vertical) direction was showed increase tendency in Kuzushi phase, Tsukuri phase and decrease tendency in Kake phase.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of Calculus Bovis Fel Ursi Moschus(BUM) pharmacopuncture on the treatment of acute low back pain patients. Methods : The subjects in this study were 30 patients with acute low back pain who were treated in Dept. of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Jein Oriental Medicine Hospital from November 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011. These patients were randomly divided into two groups. In one group(control group), patients were treated with acupuncture. And in the other group(experimental group), patients were treated with both acupuncture and BUM pharmacopuncture. For evaluating change of pain, visual analog scale(VAS) and Oswestry disability index(ODI) were checked before and after. Results : Each group had significant decrease in VAS and ODI after each treatment. Experimental group had more significant decrease in VAS after each treatment than control group. Conclusions : We suggest that cotreatment of acupuncture and BUM pharmacopuncture on acute low back pain patients can be recommended as a useful therapy.

Cell adhesion to any material surface is considered to be fundamental and important phenomenon in the fields of tissue engineering. Cell adhesion molecules, mechanism, and attachment force have been studied and described a lot. However, the effects of mechanical stimuli on the adhesive forces still have been left much to be investigated. In this study, to investigate the changes in cell adhesive force due to resting time period during the intermittent hydrostatic pressurizing (IHP), cells were cultured under the IHP with various resting times. Then the cell adhesive forces were measured quantitatively utilizing a cell detachment test system and immunofluorescent staining was performed using fluorescent microscopy. In the results, immediately after mechanical stimuli (150 minutes after seeding) and one hour later (210 minutes after seeding), the average adhesive force of experimental group 5 (resting time: 15min) compared with that of control group at same culture time was increased significantly (p<0.05). The results indicated that IHP can contribute in improving cell adhesive force and some of time intervals were required for the expression of cell response.

This study was to analyze the effect of dancesport heel-shoes heights on Rumba Cucarachas Movement in terms of analysis, and to provide the essential information to decide the proper heel-shoes heights for individual. six female subjects participated in this study. Dependent variables were set and divided into the amount of movement regarding the velocity and angle of the right elbow, pelvis, ankle, and knee. The following conclusion was drawn blow. 1) Angle: We all appeared in 5, 7, 9cm heel height so that we were similar in a knee and elbow angle and no significantly. The plantar flexion appeared greatly as an ankle angle's shoe high and significantly. 2) Velocity: An elbow velocity all appeared in a three shoes so that it was similar. We speed fast speed some in a 7cm heel height. A knee velocity expressed fast speed some in a 5cm heel height. The pelvis velocity in a that it was similar. Generaly, The aspect to be a dancesport competition o'clock and aesthetic is the height. and the muscular strength train after we need the thing to choose suitable to the individual shoe height. It is logical that the decision of heel-shoes heights should be made by anthropometric and sport dynamic analysis in order to maximize the dynamic and aesthetic aspect of dance sport.

The purpose of this study is to help improvements of education and effective management of school organization by grasping interrelationship between middle school teachers' job satisfaction and their teaching profession consciousness based on the different levels of professional socialization. To accomplish the purpose stated above, two questions were selected. First, how different are the middle school teachers' teaching profession consciousness according to the different levels of professional socialization? Second, how different are the middle school teachers' job satisfactions according to the levels of professional socialization. To answer these questions, a theoretical investigation into previous studies was made, and survey method was adopted for the inquiry. 500 questionnaires were given to teachers of 14 middle schools in Busan Metropolitan City, 470 questionnaires were collected. The results of the analysis may be summarized as follows: First, the teaching profession consciousness of middle school teachers show high level. Especially, there are much difference of teaching profession consciousness between the period of adaptation and maturity. Second, job satisfaction of middle school teachers show low level, and the job satisfaction points of compensations, school administrations, changes of educational environments are lower than the points of human relations, extension of profession, stress of duties. Especially, there are much difference between the period of adaptation and growth, adaptation and maturity, growth and maturity, growth and mellowness.

Object : The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of Miso Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture on Facial Palsy Sequela. Miso Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is an Korean medical treatment technique used for face lifting and facial disease. Method : We tereated a male patients who has Facial palsy sequela include contraction, spasm, synkinesis with Miso Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. The treatment was performed one times a week for thirteen times. The effects of the treatment were evaluated VAS(visual analogue scale). Result : After the treatment the grade of VAS was decreased and clinical symptoms were gradually disappaered. Conclusion : Miso Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture showed improvement in sequela of facial palsy.

We retrospectively reviewed the results of 1,850 fine needle aspiration cytology(FNAC) of thyroid nodules performed from 1990 to 1991 in the Department of Pathology, Seoul National University Hospital. Among 1,528 cases and 322 cases aspirated by clinicians and a pathologist, 465 cases(30.4%) and 13 cases(4.0%) of the aspirates were inadequate, respectively. In 227 cases, correlation of the FNAC diagnosis and histologic diagnosis was done. Excluding the inadequate cases, the sensitivity nor the detection of neoplasm(malignancy together with follicular adenoma) was 86.4% and the specificity was 70.7%. The overall diagnostic accuracy was 79.0%. There were 16 false-positive cases(7.0%), and 19 false-negative cases(8.4%). The predictive value of each cytologic diagnosis was 92% in papillary carcinoma, and 100%, in Hashimoto's thyroiditis. The expectancy of malignancy was 52.8% in "suspicious malignancy" and 26.7% in "atypical lesion".

We describe the cytologic features of metastatic ameloblastoma which presented as multiple bilateral lung nodules. The patient was a 22-year-old male who had recurrent ameloblastoma of the mandible 7 years after the diagnosis of primary lesion. Fine needle aspiration of one of the pulmonary nodules revealed patchy arrangement of cell clusters with outer palisading columnar cells and inner irregular loose polygonal cells. Most of tumor cells had plenty cytoplasm and ovoid nuclei which lacked either pleomorphism or hyperchromatism. The cytologic findings corresponded with histologic features of the primary site which was also benign looking ameloblastoma.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the clinical effect of Korean and Western medical treatment on a hemiplegic inpatient with central pontine myelinolysis(CPM). Methods : A patient who was diagnosed with central pontine myelinolysis(CPM) was treated with acupuncture, herbal medicine, Korean physical therapy, along with receiving continuous Western medication and rehabilitation treatment. The patient was evaluated through Manual Muscle Testing(MMT), measurement of grip strength, dysarthria, and dysuresia. The Korean and Western medical treatment was conducted for 4 weeks. Results : After the 4 weeks of Korean and Western medical treatment, MMT grade improved from 2 to 4 and grip strength improved from 6 to 13. Dysarthria and dysuresia also improved. Conclusion : According to these results, this report suggests that Korean and Western medical treatment could be effective in the treatment of central pontine myelinolysis(CPM) patients.

Objectives : This study was designed to report the effect of korean traditional treatment and person-centered counseling for poststroke depression Methods : We treated two patients who scored 37 point and 32 point at Beck's depression inventory each, and 23 point and 22 point at Hamilton rating scale for depression each by korean traditional treatment and person-centered counseling, Results : After treatment, the clinical symptoms were improved and Beck's depression inventory, Hamilton rating scale for depression score were decreased, Conclusions : The result suggest that korean traditional treatment and person-centered counseling is effective in patients with poststroke depression.
